    - Good to see that Elena TRIED to stop being the damsel in distress for a second. Hoping to see a lot more of that.

    - Place Stefan and Elena in a room and you have boredom. Place Damon and Stefan in a room and you have comedy. Place Stefan and Katherine in a room and you have hot hot hot hot hot atmosphere. Place Damon and Elena in a room and you have awesomeness that could span entire episodes.

    - Elena really has many similarities to Katherine. The way she spun rose to her side was very similar to what Katherine did in the flashback. Also a lot of manipulation, not to mention that her suicide plan was eventually more about herself than about others. Suicides are always more about egoism and I am sure that it was more about her herself not wanting to go through the bad things that would happen, more than her not wanting her friends to go through these things. She, just like Katherine, was trying to run away from all of it...in her own way.
