One word: awesome. The cliffhanger was glorious and brutal all at the same time. Man, the talk between Death and Dean was good. Death brought up some key points about the mystery of souls, and now it's got me wondering how Sam and Dean are able to cheat death so much if doing so means effin' up everything. Head scratcher there. (pun intended) And seriously, the last scene with putting Sammy's soul back in him was just lovely and emotional. However, hellutus starts and we gotta wait until Jan 28th?? Jeez, how am I going to be able to function until then?? lol
I just loved it, I was on the edge of my seat. I don't want to have to wait a whole month for more... I really hope the "wall" holds up in Sam's head. Now I am just going to be wondering what death meant about what Sam and Dean are digging at? I am frustrated and excited about whatever is going to happen next. (sorry for the ramble)
Sera Gamble is a genious. She may just kill me but brilliant none the less. I have been pacing the floor with this episode. My heart broke for Dean. Death gave me goosebumps. Sam, what can I say. The "real Sam wouldn't have tried to sacrifice Bobby. But all is well that ends well....that beautiful thing in Death's hand was my early Christmas present. Jan. 28 can't come soon enough.
The Sam-Bobby conflict was...wow. And Bobby definitely could've kicked a normal Sam's ass, no doubt. But I can understand why he doesn't want his soul back. But Balthazar...first off, where does he get off calling Cas Sam's boyfriend? The one he has the profound bond with is Dean, no? Completely awesome though.
And Death? Dean AS Death? And Tessa?! Win, all of it. That little girl, I felt for her, but it was expected that the minute he let her live stuff was gonna hit the fan. And Death telling Dean that he is an abomination to the natural order? Oh, beautiful. Especially since Sam has been the abomination since like, season 4. Now both Winchesters are. And I'm thinking that what the boys are digging into, the souls, is connected with the alphas too. And well, the boys keep on living because Death lets them, he said so =/
AND THEY MENTIONED ADAM! THANK YOU! There are three Winchester boys and Dean finally stepped up this season as the oldest! Next episode, I request bitch!Sammy to make a return. He's been gone for too long. And if there is manly crying on the Sasquatch's part, Dean and Bobby CANNOT call him for having lady bits.
OVerall a good episode, but not great to me. Love the return of Julius Richings as Death! He can make and episode by himself..... almost. Nice to see at least one of the Winchester boys get a lessen in why we do not play with the natural order. Who thinks Dean will care 2 episodes down the road? I will miss soulless Sammy... he has been at his best this season without that damned restraining soul!
Excellent way to go into the Hellatus! So Sam gets his soul back, whether he wants it or not. I'm sure there will be fallout -- even if he can't remember the cage -- simply because of what he's done since. I understand that he was scared (I thought he couldn't get scared.... oh well, small plot point...) but he was wrong about his brain working better. In what reality would killing your 'father' ever be considered OK? He may have believed it was the only way to save himself, but really, Sam? If he could actually justify that act, Dean had no choice but to get his soul back or make sure he couldn't ever hurt anyone again. I hope that wall holds. The chance that it may not will always be something hanging over Sam's head. I don't know how Dean is a walking, talking, functioning human being after everything he went through in Hell, but I don't think Sam has the same character and strength Dean has always has about what his real purpose is in life (sorry Samgirls!), so he probably wouldn't be able to overcome the turmoil as well as Dean.
I loved Bobby's traps. The guy's a friggin' genius. Trap doors in the floor, clubs in the refrigerator... Bobby is definitely prepared for anything! I thought Sam was a little over the top with the whole axe thru the door thing, but it notched up the tension -- and gave Bobby an opportunity to use the awesome trap door!
As for Dean and Death, I love how wary Jensen manages to look when he's on screen with the guy. He actually looks like a little kid afraid of getting a spanking. Not many actors could pull that off without looking silly. I love that Dean still reverts to his old snarky habits and talks back -- then immediately remembers who he's talking to and looks sheepish. Not surprised he sucked as Death. Saving people is so ingrained into him that taking a life -- even one that is at it's end -- before they've had the chance to live goes completely against everything he's ever believed.
So what is it about souls that has Death willing to give Dean what he asked for even tho he lost their bet? What are they digging into? I'm very intrigued. Somehow the Alpha's, Purgatory, Souls, and Heaven's battle will all come together to throw the Winchesters into another life or death struggle. But is Death going to let them cheat him again? They truly are the 'poster-boys for the unnatural order.' Jan. 28th can't come soon enough!
It was incredible. My question is are Sam and Dean's living and not staying dead causing many of the problems that have occurred? It would kind of be wrong there. They learned last season that they had been sent back by God many times. The angels rescued Dean. Someone pulled Sam out. I find it hard to believe that Crowley had the power. It took death to get his soul.
The episode was poignant in places. I am so glad that Dean didn't just try to kill Sam over Bobby. It's like Dean changed in some way. Facing what he faced would have done that to anyone. Dean, like it or not, has a major soft spot for children and his brother. Making him choose between his brothers was not an easy thing either. There would really be no choice....he'd choose Sam over Adam, but making him do so was harsh.
This was an emotional roller coaster ride. I will be glad to see Sam back, but how much will be Sam and how much leaks through that wall? I can hardly wait for January, but it's going to be a long stretch.
You have to remember that Dean was tortured in hell, but was only in hell for 4 months (or 40 years) and yeah he was with a demon, but he was given choices...even if they were only bad (being tortured) or worse (torturing others). Sam has been a cage with 2 very p***** off archangels for 15 months (or 150 years) I'm thinking that hell was a bit more harsh on Sam. I think that either boy...character, strength, or whatever...would not be able to handle that amount of torture.
7 weeks...... how much does that equate to in hell years? Maybe I can sleep through it? Dang!
I love that beautiful white light that is Sam's soul.......Thanks Death.......I think......
Love Dean's conversations with Death - that's the only time we see Dean looking cowed....There ain't much that boy's really afraid of but Death is one of them.
I like that Dean failed miserably at being Death. That made it all more believable than if he'd been able to pull it off.
I was truly afraid for Bobby......Sam was definitely channelling The Shining for a while there.......but it was great to see Bobby fighting back. You go Bobby!
The aftermath of Sam's enforced soul reinsertion will not be pretty....stand back Dean and Bobby......he's gonna be pissed off big time........
Balthazar or the actor that play him used to be on my mom's soap opera she watches and I would hear his voice and watch for a minute or two. He does creepy well! A different kind of creepy than Julius Richings as Death tho....
Well, that wasn't quite what I expected. I really liked this ep. I knew Dean was gonna learn a lesson. I didn't expect Death's decision ( I kinda like that guy. Is that weird? :-) It's nice to have a character running around the universe that's...um...outside of it all in a sense. He's got a different perspective. It's interesting.
I love that Dean, even when he's trying to behave (cause Death massively freaks him out) he still can't help but roll his eyes.
I did not expect them to end the ep with Sam getting his soul back...and presumably more like his old self. I kind of like the idea of tying up some of the smaller threads (especially the ones I didn't think were working) and still having a larger thread running through.
So, have I kept track of all the threads...what we're looking at after the winter break are (1) The souls...why Balthazar was trading for souls. and (2) why the monsters are acting weird. Did I miss anything?
I too love DEAN/DEATH scenes.....All they do is talk....but there's an underlying menace to their scenes.....Death is TOPDOG...Dean is not....Kudos actors....Kudos <33
I agree with what you said about SAM.......I love both boys to bits.....but when it comes to their flaws....well....Sammy is the weaker one.
Dean's selflessness inherently makes him stronger.....He Loathes himself at his core....So anything thats said or done to him, just reinforces this.....ya know.....i Hate me...why would they be any different!!
So, he channels that love that he's supposed to have for himself, into others, and especially Sam and there's so much strength/recklessness in that......I don't care about myself, but i'll damn well fight for the people i do care about. <3
whereas, Sammy's self righteousness makes him inherently weaker....Sam always thinks he is strong enough to handle it, but his anger clouds his mind...He makes the wrong decisions, and ya know what they say....PRIDE comes before a fall....Season 4 was all about this.
Sam has SELF worth so it's a lot more soul destroying, when people say/do things to him....It chips away, and makes you weaker than, if you hated yourself to begin with. <3
But whereas they're different like that....In many ways they mirror each other...At times Sam can have great Strength and Dean great weakness....Let's just say they're ying and yang!
Sorry..... if i went on anymore....you'd be reading this into next week LOL
Love your thoughts...keep commenting...i'll keep reading <33
first off - EPICNESS!!! loved the entire thing!! death is incredible, he just makes any episode take it up that one extra notch! very glad someone fiunally decided to mention adam!! it has taken 11 episodes but they finally did it. i thought they had all forgoten his existence
I'm not sure what I think yet. Loved the cat and mouse games between Bobby and Sam. Was glad that Bobby wasn't captured so easily. Also loved Death's scenes. It was refreshing to see a character who seemed above all of the game-playing of the angels, demons and humans. When Death said something, I believed it, and I haven't felt that way in a while. His point about Dean not respecting the sanctity of the order or nature was interesting too. I like that Dean is growing - first having had that experience with Lisa and Ben - and second that he seems to be learning from his mistakes. Wish I saw more of that with Sam though...
Now for a short mini-rant. I was disappointed that they stuck to the story that Sam has been in the cage being beat up by Luci and Michael all of this time. I had been hoping that Sam would come back a stronger, maybe a little more hardened, but also a wiser character. The boylike arrogance worked in the first few seasons because he was really young, and sorry, but Dean is pretty arrogant too (not sure why that trait always gets put on Sam). But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and I was hoping that Sam's character might evolve so that he stops fearing his dark side and finds some strength in it. It doesn't turn dark exactly, but maybe a shade of gray. Instead we have a set up where he seemingly won't remember the Hell experience, so he can't grow from it. And if he does remember it, it will destroy him. He'll once again be hiding from a dark thing inside him, terrified it gets released. But we know little yet, and I might eat these words when we get a few more episodes into the season.
As for what Death was getting at when he talked about the souls - this part shows promise. This season we've had references to Purgatory being valuable because of the souls, a connection between monsters and Purgatory, introduction to the alphas, a souls black market, Samuel being brought back with previously unknown cures for turning into monsters, and a scene in family matters that appeared to have Samuel's minions doing experiments on the monsters' blood.
Other things I think I've seen in the series is an underlying theme of RoboSam slowly evolving into a monster, Sam's fascination with learning how it felt to turn into a monster, Sam setting Dean up to turn Vamp (possibly to get into the nest, but also maybe to have a subject so that Samuel could test out the anti-Vamp potion), and then there was the scene at the end of Caged Heat in which Cas tells Sam he's sorry he couldn't help him. Sam says if he wants to help, do something with the monsters. Cas says "he understands." Can't help feeling that Sam was telling Cas to do something with the monsters other than kill them, and that this is tied into search for alphas, the search for finding a cure for turning into a monster, and Sam's demon blood effects. Also wondering about Sam yelling (correct me if I'm misquoting this) "You don't know what you're doing" to Dean before his soul is reinserted. It could be what it appears on face-value - that Sam Dean can't guarantee that the wall will hold - but it could be something else. Not sure how to put all this together yet, but it looks like a promising second half.
... That was EPIC! Loved it sooooo much omg, can't believe I waited 15hours before watching it, hae myself lol. Dean was so awesome as death hilarious! Loved SoulessSam hehehe
Tess there :DDDD Bobby :DDDD BALTHAZAR :DDDDDDDDDDD
AWESOME! And I loved that Dean wasnt to sure about the whole deal in the end.. seeing his brother so scared kinda makes you react hahha. SOUL IS BACK! Even if I love RoboSam I'm really happy.
Now.... cant wait for the wall to break hahaha. oh and love balthazar saying "the plot thicken" or something like that.
I hear what you're saying, and I know the show wants us to believe it, but I can't really see how it was sooo much worse for Sam. Yes, he was in a cage with Lucifer and Michael, but it wasn't exactly Hell proper. The cage is a prison that was made by Heaven, right? It was meant to contain, not torture. Would Michael and Lucifer have access to weapons? Anything that could 'physically' hurt Sam's soul? I just can't see that. So all of Sam's torture, IMO, would be mental or emotional. That is just as bad as physical torture and yes, he's been there much longer. But, on the other hand, Dean's tour in Hell was with the intention of breaking him, so it was 'physical' as well as mental and emotional. A shorter time, but with the intent purpose of shattering him. Lucifer and Michael may be pissed and taking it out on Sam as it's been suggested, but breaking him isn't their sole purpose. (pardon then pun) They're angry with each other and God and have a lot of other issues to discuss rather than focus solely on Sam. And Sam isn't alone, at least according to Death. Adam is there, too. So that's something else that could possibly make it not as horrible as it could've been. Alistair's sole purpose was breaking Dean to get him to choose to break the seal -- something that went totally against his nature. He had to be destroyed and pushed to the breaking point before he would consider it let alone agree, and he was alone. So I can't see one as worse than the other. Maybe it's semantics, I mean Hell is Hell, right?
And yes, Rochey! That's what I mean. Dean's self loathing makes him stronger because he doesn't consider himself as important, so he can overcome more since he doesn't actually believe he has value. Sam, on the other hand, is more self absorbed, so in theory, would be more affected by what happened to him than Dean. Dean can bury it and move on simply because he feels his life isn't important as others, but Sam is the opposite and that would make him less likely to bury the horror and function as he needed to.
Which brings up something else. Death remarked that Dean throws his life away because he thinks it'll bounce right back. I don't think that's true. I think he throws his life away because that's what he has to do to do what he see's as his job. He never intended to survive this long. That they do is because of a bigger picture that only God or Death (or Kirpke) can see.
I think might have been scared because, as he stated in the first episode, he remembers hell, even though he doesn't feel it. Maybe because of that memory he is scared to 'feel' again, because he knows how much it might hurt. The Dean-talk and Cas' speech about how he will suffer when he'd get his soul back didn't help much either...
It will gut a lot of people if the climax of the series and/or the finale will be Dean having to kill Sammy the monster, but it does seem to be an option they are leaving open for down the road.
Have to disagree with a couple of these points. I think Lucifer and Michael are capable of any kind of torture they want, and they don't need physical weapons. Second is that I don't see why Dean, lacking a purpose for going to Hell other than some compulsion to be the good soldier (and he was doubting his choice before he went there), would hold up under torture better than Sam, who actually had a personal reason for being there, to make up for a wrong (letting Luci out).
I don't really think we can rationally compare one brother's experience in Hell with the other. We can imagine Hell any way we want, but we ultimately have to go with whatever picture of the creators of the show draw for us because they create the universe that we're watching. And if they tell us Sam's experience was worse than Dean's, we have to go with that, and vice versa.
I'm hoping it doesn't go there, but instead this experimentation and research into alphas/the origins of monsters will lead to a solution for making Sam right again. I like happy endings.
Not to mention that Sammy went in as a vessel and Dean went in as himself. Personally I do not know if it would be worse or better to be in your own body and experience it mentally, physically and spiritually.
I like well done endings of either variety. I find myself respecting the "unhappy" endings more since it seems to usually be a creative reason behind it instead of just catering to the audience. Like Buffy dying to save the world on BTVS. That was the PERFECT ending to me.... then they switched networks and brought her back and had a happy ending the next time around that felt hollow to me.
The beauty of SPN is that you really can't believe what they tell you. They told us Crowley could save Sam's soul, turned out not so much. I still don't even believe he pulled Sam out at all. I think there is something more at play here. So it comes down to what you get from the subtle hints and nuances as opposed to what they put in front of your face. For example, the short scene in Caged Heat after Sam killed Meg's demon and got the knife back. It was him alone at the trunk of the Impala giving a menacing look while he loaded a gun... what was that all about? There are others, but they throw those in for a reason, and I'm not inclined to dismiss them as filler. I, for one, have never believed the obvious when it comes to this show, and I'm not going to start now.
can i just also mention how much the poll result's CRAZY awesome rating totally reflects this episode. Now i'm just wondering where those crazy 38 people who thought it was less than awesome are and how can i change their minds?!?!
awwwwww, me tooo!! i was saving it till last but now i regret it since its always nicer to join these discussions and post-show hype early :(
and also, i really hope the wall doesn't break too quickly. I'd like some normal (as you can get) half-soul-Sam to deal with all the issues that's already been created before we get hit by a wave of that behind the scenes hell issues he'll EVENTUALLY be dealt with.
Agree that there's lots of misdirection and many plot twists. I also acknowledge that we don't know much yet about Sam's past year other than the speculation that we've gotten from Cas, Meg and Crowley. I was just saying that in the end, if the picture they leave us with is that one brother's stay in Hell is worse than the other's, we can't draw on our personal knowledge of Hell to argue otherwise.
I LOVED the second Buffy ending. I thought it tied in perfectly with the theme that had been present since the start of the series - that she was always forced to carry an unfairly heavy burden that prevented her from living her life - and she was finally released from that. I guess for me the thing is that I watch TV for entertainment, and if a heartbreaking ending makes me depressed for a few weeks or months - that's just not something I appreciate, and I hold it against the show.
Dont play the whose stronger card it is too EDG . Sam doesnt have to be Dean and looking at what Sam has had to deal with all his life I think he has sowed remarkable strength.Sams hell is different from Deans as Dean never had body and soul split apart .If Sam breaks or his wall does doesnt mean he isnt has strong has Dean , but his memories has several powerful beings including Death clearly stated could kill him or at least render him a vegetable so please dont put down or try to make out Dean is the better . You underestimate Sam and you arent the first I have seen do that . Sam wont break because he will chose to or because he is less but because the wall didnt hold .
I guess I RARELY get emotional invested in a series despite reeeeally enjoying them. I miss the ones I like after no matter if I like the ending or not. I liked the ending, but I thought that when fighting the end of the world there should be sacrifices made. Maybe Spike's was enough? I just think even the happiest endings have some sadness if you look. I am a cynic. Then again I enjoy the sadness of sad endings too if well done.
Yeah the wall has to work for a while. I hope it doesnt "break" on the season finale though. please dont make me wait for 3 month for this HELL NO! You mean mean Sera, I know you are capable of such cruelty BUT PLEASE DONT! MY HEART CANT TAKE IT *cough* sorry im very tired :DDD
'Why are they so special.....Cause they're hot.....No it's gotta be something else'.......
Of course they're so special cause they're hot....AND because they're great hunters AND because they're Team Free Will AND they have Bobby for a father (figure) AND they have one feathery assed pretty boy angel on their side AND Death takes an unnerving interest in them AND they are always getting screwed over by someone/thing AND despite that they just keep on going, making mistakes, getting their asses kicked, beating the crap out of anyone who gets in their way (including each other but not including Death)...........*jillyanne takes a breath*........
I could go on but my name is not Rochey ;P
AND their fans love them enough to sit for hours voting in a poll for a magazine cover that many of us will only ever see as a tiny little pic on a webpage....... <3
Ok maybe my name is Rochey *is confused*.........
Gonna stop now.....back later.....need to rest....
Love you Rochey, but did you ever think of posting in instalments?
I saw the episode this morning (b/c last night instead of watching I went to see Tangled w/ friends) and I absolutely loved it. I think the ending was a cliffhanger that left u wanting more, but not in a torturous way that other shows do. Don't get me wrong...its gonna kill me to wait 2 more months for a new episode, but as of now, it is not torturing as much. I think once I see the ad for the new episode every time I watch the reruns (which is exactly what happened last season), its gonna drive me loopy
I voted great rather than awesome. I thought it was well done and loved the Bobby/Sam scenes, but it didn't leave me bouncing off the walls at the end, the way some shows do. Maybe I just need to stop reading spoilers.
I agree. I think some episodes non-fans could watch and be "WOW"ed and others "WOW" only fans. This one for me was good... maybe even great, but it did NOT "wow" me in any way. I too was expecting a lot more from all the preview banter I read before hand.
I seems like reincarnation, chance to go back and change or not change past deaths, and "now-i'm-dead... now-i'm-not" is such a part of the series,I'm not sure if they can remove it at this point. Plus as someone said in this thread earlier... when do the brothers Winchester ever learn their lessons?
Oh they never learn their lesson - but that's ok because it wouldn't be SPN otherwise....... Some people can whine about SPN all they like, but it's never boring.
Did anyone else think that, just for a second there, standing outside the panic room, Dean was gonna use Death's ring on Sam? Or was it just me and my paranoid little brain?
Thank god it was a cliffhanger and not a season finale!
And I just knew it, they won´t kill Bobby. But the way they brought Sam`s soul back was more like a rape/torture (I lack for words here) than a beautyful/relieving (again with the words) thing. Dean should consider himself lucky for the "firewall" Death installed, so Sam´s system won´t overload, otherwise...
The wall-thing irks me. I was waiting for the fallout for 11 epiodes and now we may or may not get something. I say: go Sam! Scratch the drywall! We want to see what´s behind door number one...
The whole Death/Dean scences were great. I like Death, he scares me...well to death :) Except the scene where he made Dean choose between his brothers. We all knew he would choose Sam of course, but it seemed like Dean made more of a tactical decision than a brotherly love-filled one. I admit, I am not into Adam too much, but still something seemed wrong to me, about how fast and unemontional Dean choose.
And thumbs up for Bobby. Way to go! He´s one hell of a hunter. And Bobby: Nobody likes to be killed in his own house. Ok, most don`t like to get killed at all....But his house has more trap doors, panic rooms and secret hideouts than dungeons and dragons!
Tank you so much, Sera for leaving me cold turkey-style until Jan. My hands are already shaking after this episode.
'Sam has SELF worth so it's a lot more soul destroying................' Got to agree with you there Rochey - Sam's self worth makes him so vulnerable...... *hug for poor, vulnerable Sam* <3 And Dean's lack of self worth means he can do pretty much anything, regardless of the risk to himself....... *hug for poor, self sacrificing Dean* <3 Love both boys. Yin/Yang. Two halves of a whole..........
I'm really glad I'm an EOF - can't imagine what it's like to favor one Winchester over the other (EOF - for those who don't know - Equal Opportunity Fangirl)
Is it possible to vote for INCREDIBLY AMAZING? Because 'Awesome* doesn't describe how FANTASTIC it was! XD I just finished watching it.. and WOW. That was defiantly the best episode of this season so far! At the end when Sam was screaming, and it just ended, I shouted 'NOOOOO!' cause I didn't want it to end! xD And when does the next episode air?? How could they end it like THAT, and then we have to wait for AGES to see what happens next D': I feel like crying, I hope Sammy is really back now, and I can get back the Sam & Dean relationship I love so much :'( <3 I don't care if it gets angsty or whatever, as long as I GET MY BROTHERS BACK! :') <33 AMAZING EPISODE!
'I say: go Sam! Scratch the drywall! We want to see what´s behind door number one...
'Nobody likes to be killed in his own house. Ok, most don`t like to get killed at all....But his house has more trap doors, panic rooms and secret hideouts than dungeons and dragons!'
HAhahahahahahahahahah...........You funny.....Me likey......Me kiss you!!!!
'Love you Rochey, but did you ever think of posting in instalments?'
Cmon...wheres the fun in that.....Yeah...i know....gotta sleep sometime :))
Awwww....i'm sorry....did i tax your brain <33
'Of course they're so special cause they're hot....AND because they're great hunters AND because they're Team Free Will AND they have Bobby for a father (figure) AND they have one feathery assed pretty boy angel on their side AND Death takes an unnerving interest in them AND they are always getting screwed over by someone/thing AND despite that they just keep on going, making mistakes, getting their asses kicked, beating the crap out of anyone who gets in their way (including each other but not including Death)...........*jillyanne takes a breath*........'

WOW....you said this better than i did.....i'm kinda jealous......Look i'm not gonna try anymore....i'll send you my comments...you edit them down to makes sense....and i won't be responsible for sending fans to specsavers :-)
Oh Rochey *biiiig hug* there is no way I could say it better than you........ the world (and SpoilerTV) is a much better place with you and your comments.......<3
I had the impression that the Purgatory question is done (at least I hope so) but for the others...I'd kinda remembered Cas and his war and his secrets. OH!!!! And the stuff (weapons) stolen from Heaven!
I have been under the impression that they have been reaped. When they went to Heaven (which is where I figure Dean ended up in that ep where he kept dying over and over (Sam's first mental break imho :-) I have been thinking that everything with their deaths operated according to routine with the exception of them coming back. We just haven't been seeing Death and/or the Reapers because they weren't part of those stories.
Oh, I've got an aside question...does anyone know if the show is selling any of the artwork from the in-show book covers? Is there a better place I could ask?
Yeah i agree....The way i see it.....Dean throws his life away, not because it will bounce back....but because he doesn't care if it does or not....So Deaths statement makes no sense....so retconning that....There i feel better now :))
Yeah....Sam's the more self absorbed of the two.....SamFans...I love him too....but he is.....So he'll internalise his experiences, and pick the wound untill it bleeds......He's the more logical of the two....So he's gonna be curious.....and eventually that wall's coming down.....It's not the trauma that worrying me right now....It's the whole....What's on his soul....Cmon it's Lucifer....Ya know he left a present for Sam to find :((
As for who had it worse...Well it depends on the character of the person.....Dean is very vulnerable underneath the brash....Excuse the cheese...but he just wants to be Loved....Yeah but.....his hell experiences just added more self loathing to the pile.....He's used to that...so eventually he'll just accept it cause he believes he deserved it.
*hugs Dean*
Now Sam....Well....he was with LUCIFER...and yeah he was prob Physically tortured in horrific ways....but Lucifer's special brand of mental torture is what broke him :((
I think...ya know for all the physical torture a person can withstand....Ya know...if ya BREAK the mind....Ya kinda f**ked.
*hugs Sammy*
So i think what Dean could cope with in hell....Sam couldn't....and what Sam could cope with Dean couldn't.....and all because one is a self loathing mess.....the other is a self righteous mess :((
If i had to choose though...Sam EDGES it.....Cmon it's LUCIFER.....He's the Master of breaking people, and he could bore a hole in your psyche with words alone :))
Hi....Ummm...i think Sam is gonna be kicking himself...But Dean will say "no chick flick moments Sammy".....Yeah...sorry...they've had like a million of them so far...so no deal Dean.
And we wonder why these boys are eternally F**ked.....Apart from being a magnet for the universe's woes....They never deal with their issues....and bury them.....
FYI.....boys....not going away.....sitting in ya ,untill it festers and rots, or untill it's cooked...then....BANG.... goes the pressure cooker :((
*facepalm*
I gotta say....I blame Dean.....At one point Sammy wanted to COMMUNICATE and Dean was all "ew....can't deal...too close.....i'm doing a Marathon in my head right now"
Now...Well Sammy follows suit....Sam i know i tell ya to listen to your brother....but feel free to ignore me this time....you don't want this festering inside ya....Just.....NO!!!
As for the wall - HELL YEAH....It's Sam...He's gonna be all "ummmm...I know i shouldn't....but....Ooooh whats this...........................OH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
'I had the impression that the Purgatory question is done (at least I hope so) but for the others...I'd kinda remembered Cas and his war and his secrets. OH!!!! And the stuff (weapons) stolen from Heaven!'
Ummmm.......sorry to be the bearer of bad news....but....nothing on this show is ever done....epecially people <333
Not me. I'm hoping Bobby reinforces that dry wall with steel and titanium just like his door. Half a year of angsty, melodramatic, broody Sam and I'll be begging for a memory wipe myself.
The first time the natural order was violated with the Winchesters was when John brought Dean back. It's making me wonder whether if they're laying the groundwork for the series to end with Dean dying and restoring the natural order.
I agree with the last part about them being different and the ying and yang thing. I think they have different strengths and weaknesses. I think both of them are a little prideful. Sam thinks he can stand up to Lucifer, and Dean thinks he can be Death. And guess what? Both succeeded. I don't think arrogance and pride are always such a bad thing, as long as they don't get out of control. It's their arrogance that makes them jump into situations that would scare the crap out of any normal person, and it's what makes the show so entertaining.
As far as a lot of what's going on with their personalities, Dean plays the classic role of an older brother with dysfunctional or absent parents - he took on the role of protector and surrogate parent and paved the way for the younger sibling. Sam also took on the role of the younger sibling - he rebelled. I'm not sure either role points to greater strength or weakness. I think we saw signs in season 5 that both were moving past those roles - Sam in asking Dean to let him grow up and Dean in agreeing to let Sam to be Lucifer's vessel. We'll get a better sense of who they really are once they stop replaying this family drama (mirrored in Michael and Lucifer), and hopefully the end of season 5 was the start of that.
Haha..., funny comment..., u better hold ur opinion for ur self until u see the truth..., we will see in few epi i think..., how u can compare dean hell time with sam hell time base on ur own knowledge.., the cage maybe made by heaven but its still hell.., it's made for lucifer..., all we know he the devil n his place in (cage) hell deep really deep but still hell..., n luci or michael can do whatever they want there no need any weapon or physical or anything.., if cas, meg, crowley, balthazar even death say what luci n michael do to sam soul is very bad.., so how u can say sam hell better than dean hell???????? dean been torture by alister for 3 month (30 yr) the other 1 month (10 yr) dean torture the other, n sam time more than a year (more than 120 yr) even they get same kind of torture sam time still worse than dean (even though i doubt that, casue alister nothing compare luci n michael power, so they be able to torture worst)
n u said sam weaker than dean..?? haha funny really..., the man who can take control over lucifer? the devil himself? what else he can do to make him stronger in ur eyes? take control over god? O_o they both have the different kind of strength n different kind of weakness..., but i say they both r stronger..., n more stronger when they together..., ^_^ i love the brother.., how can ppl watched this show n like 1 n not the other...??? *sigh*
Half agreed...but... On angsty Sam follows protecting Dean following most memorable SPN chick flick moments. I miss the chick flick moments...me wanna back!
I don´t really miss angsty Sam per se...(RoboSam, I´m gonna miss!) but I just wanted to express my - let´s call it displease - with the easy out they took with the wall. No fallout from a year in hell, no messed up Sam, just no nothing...
BUT...SPN could prove me wrong (again) and the fallout will follow later...
We saw how Dean coped after hell and I´d like to see how Sam will do. Equal chances for everyone ;)
I think that one difference is that yes Sam has been tourtured by Lucifer and Michael and this will have seriously messed up his soul, but Dean actually ended up torturing other people to get out of torture himself. To me this would be worse trying to live with what you did to other people than what was done to you.
I hope the wall holds up, just because I donot really want to see any more of Sam being a mess. It is becoming old to me. Dean has just spent the last 11 episodes trying to look after Sam and make him better,a nd I do not want himt ohave to spend the next 11 worrying about him and trying to protect him. i want them to get back to being brothers and fighting the Alphas and solving the mystery of this season.
And in answer to people who think why did Dean try so hard to get Sam's soul back when it could destroy him, just look at how willing he was to kill Bobby to hel himself. THis goes against everything Dean believes in. Aslo Sam has admitted that he has caused collateral damage in the last year, not caring if innocent people get killed whilst tryinbg to fight a monster. Dean could not let Sam go through life like that.
i cant edit, so this is the added.., u know what? dean torture the other because he can stand with the alister tortured.., that's weak (once he obey to alister n break the 1st seal and made all the apocalypse plan work) O_o even alister cant make jhon follow what he want..., so jhon stronger than dean..,? but no one blame dean for that.., hell.., if that's me, i'll do the same thing with what dean do.., n i say im weak.., yeah i kill another to save my self (that's weak)..., so that's what i mean they have different kind of strength n different kind of weakness, but they filled each other.., just want u to know..., ^_*
I look at the world through my pair of purple framed rose colored glasses. I'm not shocked when the world doesn't work that way. But I look through my glasses for as long as I can, :-D
If purgatory comes up again...I'll groan. :-) But I won't be upset.
Can you please lift the veil on the <333 emoticon. I cannot for the life of me figure it out.
On the Sam/Dean relationship, one of the things that struck me this season was how alone Dean seemed. At the beginning of the season, we see him talking to that friend (forgot his name), but he's pretending to be a different person. And after he lost Lisa and Ben, he seemed shut off. Bobby was there for quick phone conversations but Bobby had his own world. Cas wasn't there much. I think Dean is a person who needs other people, but because of his lifestyle he's had to cut himself off from most normal relationships. Sam is the one whose always been there. Whereas I think Dean's an extrovert, Sam is an introvert. Extroverts get their energy from other people whereas introverts get it from being alone. It's not that Sam's not social, but he's ok and even needs alone time, and he's ok with focusing on a project alone, such as reseach on a computer, whereas Dean needs to go to a bar or somewhere else where there are people. Sam loves Dean and has come to expect that Dean's always going to be there to protect him, but his need for Dean is different than Dean's need for Sam. So I think that this is in part what's driving Dean to keep bringing Sam back. Until he can break from this hunter lifestyle, he needs a partner, and there aren't a lot of other good options.
I thought it was one of THE best episodes of the season so far! Our boy Dean saves the day as always. But, I was scared and frightened for Sam at the end. I knew they were going to leave us with a cliffhanger until January, but I did not think it was going to be like this. It just makes me wonder how the second half of the season will be starting with how things ended with the first half...
O yes, and I totally loved that they mentioned Adam... I'm fine that when it came down to an either or situation, Dean was like O screw you, Adam, it's Sam all the way, I get that cause there's ya know a stronger bond with them, what with them pretty much always being together. At least they didn't completely forget about Adam. Hopefully, he may even get outta there somehow for some reason. Who knows. But he's not forgotten, and that's what matters.
Now they just need to be like ' ... Hey wait a minute.... Where'd Chuck go?' Again - they don't have to actually answer any questions... but at least wonder where he went, and let the audience know they don't know where his is, but haven't forgotten about him.
Loved, Loved this episode . As it was like the shinning lol where Sam tracked down Bobby to kill him ,but it also had a dark mode to it . Just shows you the length's that Dean would go to save Sam , i mean every time he pull's through for Sam. It was sad to see Dean doing death's work with the little girl he was almost in tear's which had me in all most tear's . Death is so creepy :{ , but on the whole a good actor . Wonder what Sam will be like now he has his soul will he be Sam again that we all love and adore or will he be damaged , ether way , i do of course agree with Dean for getting it back for him as soul or no soul he was already damaged .
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loved it! It just sucks that we have to wait more than a month for more.
ReplyDeleteVery good. That whole thing with the girl was incredibly sad, though. I wonder what Death meant about the souls?
ReplyDeleteI forgot: finally, FINALLY they mention Adam. It took them 11 episodes but they did. Although I wonder if Lucifer is beating the crap out of him.
ReplyDeleteOne word: awesome. Jeez, how am I going to be able to function until then?? lol
ReplyDeleteI just loved it, I was on the edge of my seat. I don't want to have to wait a whole month for more... I really hope the "wall" holds up in Sam's head. Now I am just going to be wondering what death meant about what Sam and Dean are digging at? I am frustrated and excited about whatever is going to happen next. (sorry for the ramble)
ReplyDeleteSera Gamble is a genious.
ReplyDeleteFlailing hard. Epic hard.
ReplyDeleteThe Sam-Bobby conflict was...wow.
ReplyDeleteExcellent way to go into the Hellatus!
ReplyDeleteI loved Bobby's traps.
ReplyDeleteThe episode was poignant in places.
ReplyDeleteYou say that about a man who bested the Devil himself? *laughs* Okay...
ReplyDeleteIt was beyond anything I expected. It was amazing :) The ONLY downside is having to wait until FREAKING JANUARY 28th for more Winchester magic!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be watching Summer Glau in her new show lol. Hopefully that'll help... oh and reading Destiel fics lol
ReplyDelete7 weeks...... how much does that equate to in hell years? Maybe I can sleep through it? Dang!
ReplyDeleteI love that beautiful white light that is Sam's soul.......Thanks Death.......I think......
Love dispassionate Death.
Love single-minded Sam
Love determined Dean
Love badass Bobby
Tessa was great. Balthazar gives me the creeps.
Balthazar or the actor that play him used to be on my mom's soap opera she watches and I would hear his voice and watch for a minute or two. He does creepy well! A different kind of creepy than Julius Richings as Death tho....
ReplyDeleteWell, that wasn't quite what I expected. I really liked this ep. I knew Dean was gonna learn a lesson. I didn't expect Death's decision ( I kinda like that guy. Is that weird? :-) It's nice to have a character running around the universe that's...um...outside of it all in a sense. He's got a different perspective. It's interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love that Dean, even when he's trying to behave (cause Death massively freaks him out) he still can't help but roll his eyes.
Oooh....Hi *waves*
ReplyDeleteYou MENSA SuePo <33
Hi Caroline *waves*
ReplyDelete'that beautiful thing in Death's hand was my early Christmas present'
Hahahahahahahahaha....You don't ask for much....Do ya!
Happy Xmas <33
Love dispassionate Death.

Love determined Dean
Love badass Bobby
Love Jillyanne <333
Hi prpleight *waves*
ReplyDeleteDid I miss anything?
Yeah......Whats the deal with Purgatury?
What's the douche bag angels up to?
What's Cas hiding?
What's so special about Sam/Dean that Death won't reap them?
IS Sam really Sam?
I have lots more...but i oughta just stop right here <333
first off - EPICNESS!!!
ReplyDeleteloved the entire thing!!
death is incredible, he just makes any episode take it up that one extra notch!
very glad someone fiunally decided to mention adam!!
it has taken 11 episodes but they finally did it. i thought they had all forgoten his existence
Amazing Episode Found it really interesting that Dean left message only 4 Ben Be4 He Dies
ReplyDelete& Sam All Bad ASS
Dean Also Was A really hot Death
I love death
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I think yet.
ReplyDeleteNow for a short mini-rant.
ReplyDeleteTess there :DDDD Bobby :DDDD BALTHAZAR :DDDDDDDDDDD
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDD AW HAPPY ME
I know I'm so happy! And Dean even thought 2sec about saving him! So proud of my boy :PP
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Bitch!Sammy heheheh :P
ReplyDelete15 years in hell till spn back. :S I'm not strong enough
ReplyDeleteI hear what you're saying, and I know the show wants us to believe it, but I can't really see how it was sooo much worse for Sam.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Rochey!
I agree, Death has added a different perspective when he has been on. For such a low key performances he certainly makes statements with impact!
ReplyDeleteI think might have been scared because, as he stated in the first episode, he remembers hell, even though he doesn't feel it. Maybe because of that memory he is scared to 'feel' again, because he knows how much it might hurt. The Dean-talk and Cas' speech about how he will suffer when he'd get his soul back didn't help much either...
ReplyDeleteIt will gut a lot of people if the climax of the series and/or the finale will be Dean having to kill Sammy the monster, but it does seem to be an option they are leaving open for down the road.
ReplyDeleteHave to disagree with a couple of these points.
ReplyDeleteI don't really think we can rationally compare one brother's experience in Hell with the other.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention that Sammy went in as a vessel and Dean went in as himself. Personally I do not know if it would be worse or better to be in your own body and experience it mentally, physically and spiritually.
ReplyDeleteI like well done endings of either variety.
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of SPN is that you really can't believe what they tell you.
ReplyDeletecan i just also mention how much the poll result's CRAZY awesome rating totally reflects this episode. Now i'm just wondering where those crazy 38 people who thought it was less than awesome are and how can i change their minds?!?!
ReplyDeleteAGREED! More Death please!
ReplyDeletenow... take that out of context and '=/
awwwwww, me tooo!! i was saving it till last but now i regret it since its always nicer to join these discussions and post-show hype early :(
ReplyDeleteand also, i really hope the wall doesn't break too quickly.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the second Buffy ending.
ReplyDeleteDont play the whose stronger card it is too EDG .
ReplyDeleteYou underestimate Sam and you arent the first I have seen do that .
ReplyDeleteYeah the wall has to work for a while. I hope it doesnt "break" on the season finale though. please dont make me wait for 3 month for this HELL NO! You mean mean Sera, I know you are capable of such cruelty BUT PLEASE DONT! MY HEART CANT TAKE IT
ReplyDelete*cough* sorry im very tired :DDD
'Why are they so special.....Cause they're hot.....No it's gotta be something else'.......
ReplyDeleteOf course they're so special cause they're hot....AND because they're great hunters AND because they're Team Free Will AND they have Bobby for a father (figure) AND they have one feathery assed pretty boy angel on their side AND Death takes an unnerving interest in them AND they are always getting screwed over by someone/thing AND despite that they just keep on going, making mistakes, getting their asses kicked, beating the crap out of anyone who gets in their way (including each other but not including Death)...........*jillyanne takes a breath*........
ReplyDeleteI voted great rather than awesome. I thought it was well done and loved the Bobby/Sam scenes, but it didn't leave me bouncing off the walls at the end, the way some shows do. Maybe I just need to stop reading spoilers.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think some episodes non-fans could watch and be "WOW"ed and others "WOW" only fans. This one for me was good... maybe even great, but it did NOT "wow" me in any way. I too was expecting a lot more from all the preview banter I read before hand.
ReplyDeleteSo now we've had a lesson in 'the natural order' will they stop bringing people back from the dead?
ReplyDeleteI seems like reincarnation, chance to go back and change or not change past deaths, and "now-i'm-dead... now-i'm-not" is such a part of the series,I'm not sure if they can remove it at this point. Plus as someone said in this thread earlier... when do the brothers Winchester ever learn their lessons?
ReplyDeleteOh they never learn their lesson - but that's ok because it wouldn't be SPN otherwise.......
ReplyDeleteSome people can whine about SPN all they like, but it's never boring.
Did anyone else think that, just for a second there, standing outside the panic room, Dean was gonna use Death's ring on Sam? Or was it just me and my paranoid little brain?
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say - I love alliterating..... (is alliterating even a word? - and apparently making up new words)
ReplyDelete'God or Death or Kripke' - lol - question of the day: See how many omnipotent beings you can put in a sentence ;)
ReplyDeleteThank god it was a cliffhanger and not a season finale!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just knew it, they won´t kill Bobby.
I like Death, he scares me...well to death :)
Except the scene where he made Dean choose between his brothers.
'Sam has SELF worth so it's a lot more soul destroying................'
ReplyDeleteGot to agree with you there Rochey - Sam's self worth makes him so vulnerable......
*hug for poor, vulnerable Sam* <3
And Dean's lack of self worth means he can do pretty much anything, regardless of the risk to himself.......
*hug for poor, self sacrificing Dean* <3
Love both boys. Yin/Yang. Two halves of a whole..........
I'm really glad I'm an EOF - can't imagine what it's like to favor one Winchester over the other
(EOF - for those who don't know - Equal Opportunity Fangirl)
Is it possible to vote for INCREDIBLY AMAZING?
ReplyDeleteBecause 'Awesome* doesn't describe how FANTASTIC it was! XD
I just finished watching it.. and WOW.
That was defiantly the best episode of this season so far! At the end when Sam was screaming, and it just ended, I shouted 'NOOOOO!' cause I didn't want it to end! xD And when does the next episode air?? How could they end it like THAT, and then we have to wait for AGES to see what happens next D':
I feel like crying, I hope Sammy is really back now, and I can get back the Sam & Dean relationship I love so much :'( <3 I don't care if it gets angsty or whatever, as long as I GET MY BROTHERS BACK! :') <33
AMAZING EPISODE!
Let's hope so. That kid has the charisma of roadkill.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that I favour Dean over Sam, it's just Sam as a character is so very bland that I'd like to throw a steroid-ridden Elephant at him.
ReplyDeleteWait...
Death for President.
ReplyDeleteHide Hungry.
ReplyDeleteNOW.
The Samgirls will have a bounty out on you by now.........
It was nice knowing you...... :(
Most of the time.
When you weren't being a douche.
hmmm.......when you weren't being a douche........ummmm.........well, it was nice knowing you anyway ;P
This episode brings something to mind... how did Death feel when Dean died 101 times in mystery spot?
ReplyDeleteLOL - it was probably : 'would you just die already'. Explains why he's got so little patience with Dean now I guess.
ReplyDeleteWould that mean Gabriel's not on Deaths' Christmas card list?
I never hide!
ReplyDeleteBut I will run really fast.
Hi Airbat *waves*
ReplyDelete'I say: go Sam! Scratch the drywall! We want to see what´s behind door number one...

HAhahahahahahahahahah...........You funny.....Me likey......Me kiss you!!!!

<33
Long as Sam doesn't scratch. :-) Will Sam remember the past year? How's he gonna feel about what he's done?
ReplyDeletesorry....rochey_1 you made me think it.
'Love you Rochey, but did you ever think of posting in instalments?'
ReplyDeleteCmon...wheres the fun in that.....Yeah...i know....gotta sleep sometime :))
YES.......All the above <33

WOW....you said this better than i did.....i'm kinda jealous......Look i'm not gonna try anymore....i'll send you my comments...you edit them down to makes sense....and i won't be responsible for sending fans to specsavers :-)
HAhahahahahahah...........Again...Hilarious
ReplyDelete*kisses Hungry Emo*
<333
Oh Rochey *biiiig hug*
ReplyDeletethere is no way I could say it better than you........
the world (and SpoilerTV) is a much better place with you and your comments.......<3
Hey back atcha rochey_1 :-)
ReplyDeleteI had the impression that the Purgatory question is done (at least I hope so) but for the others...I'd kinda remembered Cas and his war and his secrets.
ReplyDeleteYeah i agree....The way i see it.....Dean throws his life away, not because it will bounce back....but because he doesn't care if it does or not....So Deaths statement makes no sense....so retconning that....There i feel better now :))
ReplyDeleteYeah....Sam's the more self absorbed of the two.....SamFans...I love him too....but he is.....So he'll internalise his experiences, and pick the wound untill it bleeds......He's the more logical of the two....So he's gonna be curious.....and eventually that wall's coming down.....It's not the trauma that worrying me right now....It's the whole....What's on his soul....Cmon it's Lucifer....Ya know he left a present for Sam to find :((
As for who had it worse...Well it depends on the character of the person.....Dean is very vulnerable underneath the brash....Excuse the cheese...but he just wants to be Loved....Yeah but.....his hell experiences just added more self loathing to the pile.....He's used to that...so eventually he'll just accept it cause he believes he deserved it.
So yeah....just a theory <33
*giggles*
ReplyDeleteCongrats Hungry emo.....I think you have your own personal stalker <33
XD
Wow....thats the nicest comment i've gotten....Thanks Jillyanne...and GOD....i'm such a saddo
ReplyDelete*giggles*
<33
Hi....Ummm...i think Sam is gonna be kicking himself...But Dean will say "no chick flick moments Sammy".....Yeah...sorry...they've had like a million of them so far...so no deal Dean.
ReplyDeleteAnd we wonder why these boys are eternally F**ked.....Apart from being a magnet for the universe's woes....They never deal with their issues....and bury them.....
<33333
'I had the impression that the Purgatory question is done (at least I hope so) but for the others...I'd kinda remembered Cas and his war and his secrets. OH!!!! And the stuff (weapons) stolen from Heaven!'
ReplyDeleteUmmmm.......sorry to be the bearer of bad news....but....nothing on this show is ever done....epecially people <333
I loved Six Feet Under's ending more than any other TV show.
ReplyDeleteI mean, they killed off every single character, and it was still a happy occassion. XD
Man I hope so. The No Longer Dead population is starting to catch up to the Never Been Dead population.
ReplyDeleteTotally. I thought it was going to be the way to reunite Sam's body with his soul though.
ReplyDeleteNot me. I'm hoping Bobby reinforces that dry wall with steel and titanium just like his door. Half a year of angsty, melodramatic, broody Sam and I'll be begging for a memory wipe myself.
ReplyDeleteThe first time the natural order was violated with the Winchesters was when John brought Dean back. It's making me wonder whether if they're laying the groundwork for the series to end with Dean dying and restoring the natural order.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the last part about them being different and the ying and yang thing.
ReplyDeleteAs far as a lot of what's going on with their personalities, Dean plays the classic role of an older brother with dysfunctional or absent parents - he took on the role of protector and surrogate parent and paved the way for the younger sibling.
Haha..., funny comment..., u better hold ur opinion for ur self until u see the truth..., we will see in few epi i think..., how u can compare dean hell time with sam hell time base on ur own knowledge..,
ReplyDeletethe cage maybe made by heaven but its still hell.., it's made for lucifer..., all we know he the devil n his place in (cage) hell deep really deep but still hell..., n luci or michael can do whatever they want there no need any weapon or physical or anything..,
if cas, meg, crowley, balthazar even death say what luci n michael do to sam soul is very bad.., so how u can say sam hell better than dean hell????????
dean been torture by alister for 3 month (30 yr) the other 1 month (10 yr) dean torture the other, n sam time more than a year (more than 120 yr) even they get same kind of torture sam time still worse than dean (even though i doubt that, casue alister nothing compare luci n michael power, so they be able to torture worst)
n u said sam weaker than dean..?? haha funny really..., the man who can take control over lucifer? the devil himself? what else he can do to make him stronger in ur eyes? take control over god? O_o
they both have the different kind of strength n different kind of weakness...,
but i say they both r stronger..., n more stronger when they together..., ^_^
i love the brother.., how can ppl watched this show n like 1 n not the other...??? *sigh*
Hi rochery_1 *waves back*
ReplyDeleteAlways glad to entertain !!!!!!!
:))
Half agreed...but...
ReplyDeleteOn angsty Sam follows protecting Dean following most memorable SPN chick flick moments.
Death: 'You're an affront to the balance of the universe, and you cause disruption on a global scale.'
ReplyDeleteDean: 'I apologise for that.'
Yeah Dean - you apologise for being who you are.........
I think that one difference is that yes Sam has been tourtured by Lucifer and Michael and this will have seriously messed up his soul, but Dean actually ended up torturing other people to get out of torture himself. To me this would be worse trying to live with what you did to other people than what was done to you.
ReplyDeleteI hope the wall holds up, just because I donot really want to see any more of Sam being a mess.
Dean could not let Sam go through life like that.
i cant edit, so this is the added..,
ReplyDeleteu know what? dean torture the other because he can stand with the alister tortured.., that's weak (once he obey to alister n break the 1st seal and made all the apocalypse plan work) O_o
even alister cant make jhon follow what he want..., so jhon stronger than dean..,?
but no one blame dean for that.., hell.., if that's me, i'll do the same thing with what dean do.., n i say im weak.., yeah i kill another to save my self (that's weak)..., so that's what i mean they have different kind of strength n different kind of weakness, but they filled each other..,
just want u to know..., ^_*
peace ^_~
I look at the world through my pair of purple framed rose colored glasses. I'm not shocked when the world doesn't work that way. But I look through my glasses for as long as I can, :-D
ReplyDeleteIf purgatory comes up again...I'll groan. :-) But I won't be upset.
Can you please lift the veil on the <333 emoticon. I cannot for the life of me figure it out.
<333 = Hearts.....bursting with love for Prpleight :))
ReplyDeleteI like dissecting characters' psyches too.
ReplyDeleteOn the Sam/Dean relationship, one of the things that struck me this season was how alone Dean seemed.
By far the best episode this Season!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was one of THE best episodes of the season so far! Our boy Dean saves the day as always. But, I was scared and frightened for Sam at the end. I knew they were going to leave us with a cliffhanger until January, but I did not think it was going to be like this. It just makes me wonder how the second half of the season will be starting with how things ended with the first half...
ReplyDeleteI'd say right up there with Weekend at Bobby's >W< I really liked it! n.n
ReplyDeleteO yes, and I totally loved that they mentioned Adam...
ReplyDeleteNow they just need to be like ' ... Hey wait a minute.... Where'd Chuck go?'
Again - they don't have to actually answer any questions... but at least wonder where he went, and let the audience know they don't know where his is, but haven't forgotten about him.
ReplyDelete'But the way they brought Sam`s soul back was more like a rape/torture (I lack for words here) than a beautyful/relieving'
ReplyDeleteIt was...wasn't it....I felt totally violated for him.....He needs it.....but yeah....i dunno :((
This is gonna hang over them....but it wouldn't be supernatural if we didn't add one more issue to the pile LOL
