jam packed from beginning to end and everyone w/ their own personal interesting storyline! agree that it was the best so far this season! and left you w/ so much food for thought over the break! also lilly the bad guy well gal in the end?! great twist! also fun to see the semi heartless chuck back. he and blair in the 1 week later stuff made me think of season 2 post bart's death! she was def hurt by his comment about his vacation and the stuff about jack! she's the one who broke it off! and lastly i was starting to miss the old chuck kinda sleazy and a few weeks w/out blair and he is back. kinda proves that blair really did change him! i just hope that next half of the season doesn't go downhill and if the preview is any indication it wont! can't wait.
So, Dan and Blair will pretty much only have each other as company for a while. I don't know if it will happen, but they certainly set the stage for a Dairmance.
I'm really enjoying they way producers are connecting Blair and Dan! I've been waiting for this for a loooooooooong time! Bad thing is that Juliet won't be around anymore :(
The Dair in this story was so awesome!!! I really want them to get together!! I love how all the storylines came together and we finally figured out what happend. So Lilly was the bad person in all of this? Wow :) The one week later stuff was really nice. I loved that part :D I'm glad Dan stayed :) Dan and Blair together in NY hahahaha I really want to see how Chuck and Jack turn out :P
I just started watching the episode and your comment made me so excited to finish! Well Except for the fact that this is it till next year lol...
One tree hill needs to take note, THIS is how you work flashbacks into a storyline... They fucked things thup with that whole time jump, never took advantage of it's potential.
To be honest, it's not nearly as crazy as most of the romances he's been in. With Serena it was always awful timing and stupid misunderstandings that could have been resolved if they had merely been honest with each other.
Vanessa was annoyingly insecure and bored me to tears. She's had ZERO development. That movie star girlfriend? She kept trying to live how she felt she was supposed to, and just ended up feeling so fake by the end. Amusingly enough, the actress was the less annoying of them all, but that's not saying much.
As for Dan and Blair, it's not that crazy. Opposites attract all the time. Personally, all of my best relationships were with women whom I had only a few similarities with. Having someone who shares your interests is great, but ultimately a waste of time. Conflict is what makes people evolve.
That also, in a way, applies to characters on a TV show. Before all of the problems started, Serena and Dan were pretty much perfect for each other...and boring. Dan and Blair disagree with each other so often that it makes things more enticing. Plus, it opens up a lot of amusing plot possibilities.
Honestly, I can't see any good reason not to hook them up and see what happens because of it. I'm far more excited about what would happen after they hookup than the actual hookup. Putting two people together who can hardly stand each other is almost always good television as far as I'm concerned.
So, in conclusion I'll just say what I stated above: The possible Dair relationship is far less crazier than all of his previous girlfriends, and all of Blair's previous boyfriends.
OMG!! Dair was awesome!!! They really cracked me up.Watching them was so easy and delightful and not troubled and tortued like it's always (but especially lately) been with C/B or S/D. thumbs up! best episode this season
wow!!... best episode of the season!!... this season is turning out surprisingly good!! it feels like season 1 again.. definitely some good plots, twists and villains... juliet's character was soo entertaining and great at stirring things up and im a total chair fan but i cant deny im actually loving the dan and blair interaction!! those two have soo much chemestry!!.. cant wait till january
Haven't seen the episode yet but I Strongly do NOT want Dan and Blair together. Them not being in a relationship was only the sanest part of this show. Blair going being Serena's back would be really sick. After all thats what Serena did in the beginning of the show and we see how That ended up. :P Dan and Serena+ Blair and Chuck sans Vanessa and Jenny. Its high time we get a bit of fairytale in here.
they kinda bring out the best in each other! even if they never became a couple (i'm a chair fan ultimately) it would be fun to watch if they were friends. he brings her down to earth a little but she is still blair and she brings out the more bold him. usually people wont stand up to blair but he isnt afraid to.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I wouldn't believe that I'm saying that about non-chair episode, but it was the best episode this season!!!! <3
