MY POOR OLIVE! I just wanna hug her and be there for her!!! "She's taken everything..." And Peter doesn't even know where to begin... Meanwhile Walter and the body that refused to rot lightened the mood a bit.
I loved the entire episode but that last scene with Olivia and Peter...Anna ROCKED THAT. I mean...just perfection. I'm glad we got all these reactions and truths out of the way. It's gonna be hard for them but give them time and they will come back to each other. The belong together and even if we have to wait years, they'll be together in the end. When has JJ not had his couples together in the finale? :)
That was one freaky episode. It was also a very emotional episode. Pure awesomeness! Now for a few week break, again..... I'm really hoping the Friday night move improves the ratings. I think it will since it won't be up against "those" other two shows.
In other news, just by watching "Entrada" and "Marionette" I have converted another friend. She immediately texted me after this episode "I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL JAN. 21!?"
After weeks of holding back her emotions, then months of being trapped, she finally can't hold it anymore, the only person she blames is Peter. She was curt and to the point. It will be interesting to see what comes next.
Of course, she will blame Peter. Its the writers way of making everyone love her and hate Peter. Congrats Olivia and Anna torv fans, your girl is loved while my favorite character is being hated, ignored and blamed for everything.
I too like Peter but I do see Olivia's side easily. She was forced into that situation and Peter could possibly have saw through Altlivia's ruse, but he didn't. It is unfair to completely blame him, but at the same time she has to blame someone for how awkward it is for her being back after what happened. All she needs is to bring Altlivia back and woop some major a**!
OMG I KNOW!!!! Anna was amazing at pulling me in. I am upset because there is no Peter and Olivia but I mean nothing can be that easy with couples right? I totally understand her argument she feels completely violated, Peter should have known. I just think that he wanted a relationship with Olivia so badly that he just ignored all of the signs that he was actually with Bolivia. I really hope we don't have to wait years to for Peter and Olivia to find their way, it looks like they are planning something big with Peter so I am sure that Olivia is going to get over it to save Peter and realize her feelings for him once more.
Oh stop it. Peter does not get blamed for everything and from the show the start of the show he has never been ignored. And Olivia has every right to be upset with him. Yes, no one else noticed it was Altlivia either but she was closer to Peter than she was to anyone else and to hear that he thought the imposter was her is definitely the hardest when its coming from the man she loves. Not to mention she fought like hell to get back to our side for him. And one more thing to add is that Peter is the only one who met and even talked with the other Olivia so even I was surprised that he couldn't figure out it wasn't her. Olivia has been through A LOT and especially finding that out she just couldn't take it anymore. I don't blame her for saying those things to Peter. But I certainly don't hate Peter either. I actually feel for him because it's hard to say whether he's ever going to forgive himself for this. They're both going to need some time that's for sure.
Oh and please tell me you're not who I think you are. "Peter is being ignored." Do they need to kill off the other characters for you to ever think otherwise? Seriously.
Loved this episode! I feel so bad for Olivia though. She's been through so much and now this... Talk about an identity crisis! Anna Torv is truly incredible. The subtle facial expressions when Peter was telling her about Altlivia really got to me. You could see how much she was really trying to keep it together. Her conversation with Peter at the end was so heartbreaking. I also really felt for Peter. He made a huge mistake and it's hard to say whether he'll ever forgive himself. I really admire him though for not keeping it from her even with the damage he knew it would inflict. You could tell how lost he was at the end. His "I'm sorry" especially broke my heart. Excellent acting by Joshua Jackson. That's the sign of a good man right there. Hopefully Olivia will forgive him one day. Oh and I loved Astrid and Olivia's conversation: "Whatever feelings he had were not about her. They were about you. And they still are." Ah I loved it! And of course, Walter and the observer! Great episode to end the year with! Can't wait to see what Fringe has in store for 2011!
It's amazing how Fringe manages to keep it up: like say last Season "Jacksonville" and "Peter" were such phanomenal episodes, and yet 2x16 didn't go straight down - was also a great episode; the same now: Season 3 jucks ROCKS All the WAY and after the whole chapter of crossing between universes, it's stille awsome!!! Anna's performance was outstanding ( too bad those "serious" Awards will never see what lies beneath those Sci-Fi Shows ). The emotional scenes with Olivia Olivia/Aster :) and Olivia/Peter at the end...ohhh my heart just breaks for Olivia... I love our Olivia just the way she is, even with her flaws Can't wait for Jan 21st - so let the painful countdown begin
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
