It was not that bad. Sure, it's not as good as season 2, but it wasn't as bad as season 3 and I don't know if the words "awful" and "Dexter" are even allowed to be in the same sentence.
Voted Take it! It had each of the characters doing what they do best, Deb having good police instincts despite no one else will listening even when she solves cases other cannot, Laguerta showing her ugly true colors covering her ass, Batista showing he is really a nice guy that can see straight even in hard situations, showed Quinn almost being human and Lumen's first kil (as witness, but still up close and personal), and of course... Dexter Stalking and saving Lumen at the last second.l. The way he can go from all out exertion and drama to calm, calculated and stoic is awesome. It is those little things MCH does that make me think he could win a Best Actor Emmy every year. Not sure any this year had the impact that stood out from the rest like in some years, but still one of the 2 or 3 best seasons for me.
I voted for eps. 9, 10, and 11. They were all great and "Teenage Wasteland" (9) had my favorite scene all season - Lumen and Dexter in the kitchen at breakfast discussing how to handle talking to Astor.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It's hard, this season has been so awful.
ReplyDeleteVoted for "My Bad", "Practically Perfect" and "Take It!".
I really enjoyed the buildup in "Circle Us," "Take It!," and "Teenage Wasteland."

ReplyDeleteAlthough it was a hard decision, as this season was awesome.

ReplyDeleteFor me it was way worse than Season 3, and awful seems fitting to the way I feel about this season.
