"I'm usually not one for speeches, so goodbye". That line killed me. The writers still got it and Ron Swanson seems to be just as awesome as he was in season 2.
If I lived in the US, I sure would tune in on NBC each thursday from 8 to 11 - especially now that Fringe airs on fridays.
They have the perfect line up, except for Perfect Couples which seems boring and not funny (and that's a bumer because the funniest show on television (Community) is stuck before that...).
Communty, The Office, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock and Outsourced (yeah, don't burry Outsourced too quickly folks, it was actually quite funny after the first 3 episodes) : I love it all.
And I hope they'll all be renewed. I think a 6th season for 30 Rock is already granted and The Office is still the most watched show on NBC so that won't be a problem, hell even Parks could become a hit after The Office (perfect combo!) bbut I'm annoyed that Community is all alone against the biggest shows of every network : TBBT, American Idol, The Vampire Diaries and a new Shonda Rhimes medical drama. NBC executives need to understand there's no way Community will be able to draw viewers against that kind of massive competition.
Btw, I hope NBC will add 6-7 episodes to the 3rd season of Parks because I read there are only 16 episodes. NBC could do it, FOX did air 24 episodes of 24 from mid-january to mid-may. NBC should do 2-3 one-hour episodes of Parks and that would work out. At least a The Office lead-in is the perfect way to get a 4th season so I won't complain anymore.
Completely agree, especially about Community. If they keep this up (which they will), it's going to get canceled (which it will), which will be awful (which it will).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Best show, Hands down :D
