I haven't heard much about this new HBO drama, but it stars Dustin Hoffman, Joan Cusack and now Dumbledore himself, Michael Gambon. Sould be interesting!
In his first appearance in a U.S. series, Deadline reports Harry Potter franchise star Michael Gambon has joined the cast of HBO’s gambling drama Luck. The series takes place in the world of horse racing, following the owners, gamblers, jockeys and industry players. The recurring role in the series will see him as a nemesis or worthy adversary for Dustin Hoffman’s character Ace Bernstein. Joan Allen also stars in the series from Michael Mann (Public Enemies) and David Milch (NYPD Blue). Gambon’s talents seem to be even more icing on an already enticing cake at HBO, a cable network that seems to get better original programming every single year.
