Thanks to Bruce_F for the following:

A comedian is about to hang ten with the cast of Hawaii Five-0. EW has learned exclusively that Dane Cook has been cast to play the brother of Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan). For now, he’s set to appear in one episode that’ll air in February.
Cook was last seen in the flicks My Best Friend’s Girl and Dan in Real Life. His TV appearances has been mostly devoted to his comedy act; he’s done a bunch of specials for HBO and Comedy Central. His early scripted TV work included Good Girls Don’t and Suddenly Susan.

No way? For real! This is...unexpected.
ReplyDeleteThere goes the neighborhood...
ReplyDeleteHe should stick to comedy.
ReplyDelete...I don't even find him funny.
ReplyDeleteDane Cook is like a pineapple. It`s only funny if you`re high or drunk. And it`s sometimes not funny at all, actully for the most part.
ReplyDeleteHe does comedy? We must have different definitions! LOL
ReplyDeleteHe was funnier before he got so popular. My point was that I'm not impressed with his acting. I think Hawaii 5-0 is a decent show, but it's just not my kind of show, so I don't care who does what on it anymore, I quit watching after four episodes.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed how many family members and people from the past for the two leads they have managed to cast in one season. And really not impressed with this casting news; Dane Cook is annoying.
ReplyDeletedane cook? DANE cook?! really. huh. who'da thunk it
ReplyDeleteThe thing is there's a likeness in the 2 of them they are a good match as Brothers though. I've probably only probably seen 1 movie of Dane so I don't know what he's acting is like
