According to Deadline Kaylee Defer will join the cast of Gossip Girl later this season as a recurring. Her character is still a secret.

    NOO :@ they're already getting ready for when Leighton's gonna quit. THIS SUCKS SO EFFING MUCH. Gossip Girl is going to SUCK without Blair Waldorf! I'm not going to watch it anymore when she leaves, it'll be too depressing. and ill chuck something at the tv every week. -___-

    Leighton is contracted for another two years. There's no way she'd but out. GG is safe through to Season 6...unless Blake decides to buy out her contract...

    LOLL i know but the producers said the show won't be ending anytime soon. so when leighton meester leaves in 2012, the show might still be going on. Would blair die or something? :(

    They are ALL under contract for 2 more years! Leighton won´t be the only one who leaves after that! Blake, Penn and Chace already said they have enough of GG .. and i´m sure Taylor won´t continue too.. so i´m sure the show ends after their contract is done
