Need a little Dexter to tide you over until Sunday? Desmond Harrington (Joey Quinn) has spoken out about whether or not his character is at risk, and I've broken down what that might mean for Quinn. Check out his quotes and my thoughts here.

Nice read! I hope Quinn makes it to the next season and still with Deb as well.
ReplyDeleteNothing against Quin, but if he is killed off then Dextr/ Michael C will not be forced to watch his sister/wife do sex scenes anymore. Awkward....
ReplyDeleteGhost Ship? Really?
ReplyDeleteha! I'm sure Deb will find someone else to get with. She was with two guys in the first season, two guys in the second, one guy in the third, two in the fourth, and one in the fifth...so far... Six guys in total because some were with twice. And how many people she said she loved? Four. So yeah, I think it would be safe to say that Michael C Hall would be forced to watch another guy get lucky with his old lady : )
ReplyDelete"ha! I'm sure Deb will find someone else to get with."
ReplyDeleteThat foul-mouthed surf board of a woman never has any trouble attracting men. It's her choices in men that are usually quite dubious.
Surf board lol Yeah she is pretty straight and thin like one. And def foul mouth!
ReplyDeleteI know, I know. I hated the movie, but it's the first thing I saw him in.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Deb could be at a top 100 philanthropic donors of the year event and she would still go home with the one that tortured small animals when young, hates her brother/husband or has a rape kit hidden in their car. She is catnip for dysfunctional men. Then again, with her dad and brother/husband, who can blame her.
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree.
ReplyDelete"Then again, with her dad and brother/husband, who can blame her."
The most hilarious thing about that is that Deb is in the dark about ALL of it.
Ah, okay. It's not so much about the film as it is your intro to Harrington.
ReplyDeleteMy friends LOVED that movie. I am not a fan of the horror genre in general, but he's the one thing that I remember from the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteIf it hasn't already, the longer that goes on, the more the show risks making her look painfully stupid.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the opening scene. That's about it. lol
ReplyDeleteAlso they were teasing about Quinn hating killers getting away from justtice (season 4). So, all the way through 5th season I was thinking that Quinn actuallly is the one who could except Dexter killing murderers.
ReplyDeleteAnd I do not think Deb needs another one. They are a perfect match with Quinn in many ways. Writers was heading in this direction since season 3.
I couldn't agree more with Desmond Harrington on how his character would handle's Dexter's secret. Anybody else think he doesn't necessarily mean he's "in trouble" because of Dexter but he'll be "in trouble" from killing Liddy? I'll admit though, I'm pretty stuck on the idea, mainly cause I think it'd just be a fantastic twist. =)
ReplyDeleteBut really now, they've been teasing us about Quinn's dark side for so long now! Just re-watched Hello, Bandit last night and picked up on a crazy quote which could very well be some clever foreshadowing...
Quinn: "All I'm sayin.. if a woman pissed me off enough, I'd wanna cut her head off."
Deb: "Well, that's good to hear."
Quinn: "No, I'm not saying I would do it... but I understand the impulse."
I don't think Deb's ever really been completely ignorant to what Dexter is.
ReplyDeleteBut as his sister, and him being the only family she has, I think she chooses to ignore it. Whether consciously or subconsciously.
