i'm tired of recycled cop dramas with the same "loose cannon"-type protagonist, the same old medical dramas, family shows, etc. I'm looking for something different, I'm not expecting much but it sure would be a breath of fresh air if this turned out to be at least a solid show.
If a show based on a Buy More nerd being embedded with a CIA computer database isn’t ridiculous, I find it hard to understand why The Cape is any more ridiculous. The Cape is presumably intended to be less of a dramedy than Chuck, but there still is room for some humor in the show. Clearly it’s not intended to be a dark drama. It’s more along the lines of The Spirit than The Dark Knight, albeit with elements of the latter.
As usual, it will depend on execution as much as premise. But I suspect the show will surprise. In any event, it’s NBC’s last chance to salvage this season so they better hope it pulls it off.
So...how long do you think it's going to take for the writers to do a "Wife moves on with another man" plot twist? You don't need a time machine to know that's going to happen. In just about every movie, tv show, book, game, or other forms of entertainment where the husband is falsely presumed dead, the wife gets another man in her life at some point.
I've noticed this before with youtube videos. Apparently if you do the mirror image of things like this, then youtube's anti-copyright program won't find it. Or at least that's what I've read before.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Is he like.. from australia?
ReplyDeleteIf you are talking about the lead actor, yes, he is from Melbourne.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with the video?
ReplyDeleteIt's like looking at a mirror image : characters and letters are reversed ?????????????
Doesn't matter. We've seen this already under the name "The Cape - Behind the Scenes" :
