  1. There are 2 40 second clips on youtube for this episode, one is about Caroline and Tyler and the other is with elena.

  2. Klaus is going to be a danger to everyone around Elena whether they're trying to break the spell or not. I realize that, in her own nonsensical way, she's trying to protect her friends and family but if she really believes that simply keeping her friends from trying to help her will keep them safe, then she's got her head up her arse.

  3. Actually she is pretty much the ONLY sensible one in this scene.

Seriously. Oldest vampire and they want to destroy the only bargain chip they ever had?

Remember what happened to Katherine just BECAUSE she stole it?

If they destroy the stone, Klaus won't just calmly backdown, he will make sure that every damn one involved(as well as their family and their children and grandchildren and granchildren's children) get mutilated in most horrible ways.

  4. Love Damon's reaction to Elena's "including two of you" line

  5. That would be true if this was just about the moonstone, but it isn't.

If it wasn't the moonstone it would be something else. No matter what the situation is, these people are going to try and help her because they're her friends and family and they care. We already know that Klaus is going to kidnap Jenna and use her as leverage to get Ric to help him and that has nothing to do with the gang trying to remove the spell from the moonstone.

These people are in danger, not because of what they're attempting to do or who they're defending. They're in danger simply because they know Elena. Whether or not they stay out of it, as Elena wants, is irrelevant. There lives are under a constant threat no matter what they do so it makes no sense to stay out of it and just bury their heads in the sand.

  6. Elena is starting to seriously get on my nerves.

  7. Is it me, or are the Vampires plans getting worse? Damon lets Kat live and own the moonstone, now they gotta get it back again, and the spell that was so powerful, it killed Bonnies Grandmother to break it, they lay directly at Bonnies feet?! A novice witch? Stefan should know better, and I thought he was a better friend to her than that. :( Sucky friends being sucky.

Elena.. if she's trying to protect them, then her line to Rose.."I'm getting Klaus' attention." blatantly goes against what she wants in this one. *bangs head on desk*

  8. Damon leaving Katherine and moonstone imprisoned was the best possible poetic justice for Katherine and the fitting closure for Damon's feelings towards her.

And Bonnie is willing to take the risk. They all are. They think its either "we break moonstone" or "klaus kills everyone".(of course so far only elena realizes that just destroying the curse wont solve their klaus problem and will only make him even more furious)

Elena thinks she is going for a win win situation - if her whatever plan succeeds, she solves the problem without any unnecessary deaths. If her whatever plan fails, klaus gets her and only she dies.

  9. You said it! She's been on my nerves for some time now!

  10. It wasn't poetic justice, it was rash, foolish and careless to leave Katherine with anything she so desperately needs for reasons they don't fully understand. He did it to lord it over her, plain and simple.

Yes, Bonnie will risk it all for Elena, she's proven that time and time again. They all have. Doesn't excuse their cavalier 'tude when it comes to using her and her magic, without showing concern or friendship in return. That spell on the tomb killed Grams; a highly skilled and experinced witch, but from one so young as Bonnie, and they flip it off like it's nothing. :( They're that blinded by saving Elena, they're willing to walk all over her bestfriend to do it? Disgusting.

Elena knows nothing about Klaus, except that he's unrepentantly cruel, unforgiving and very very powerful. She's human and she thinks she can provoke him and win?! Katherine is happy being in the tomb rather than face Klaus, you'd think that would be a big enough clue. Her plan won't succeed - when has it ever?

How long has Elena been around vampires, that she's that naive to think only SHE will bear the punishment. Only she dies? Pfft. Klaus won't kill her.. yet. No, first he'll do what he did with Katherine when she defied him, and brutally kill her family one by one, then her friends. Klaus will make her watch everyone and everything she's ever loved burn, and THEN he'll kill her.

    No one wins but him.
