Things are getting tense in the Supernatural world with Sera yanking our chain just as much as Kripke ever did. We've got some answers but more questions. We've got some brother interaction, but not the brother bond that brought us into the show in the first place. We've got action, mystery, and tada....a mytharc. However, we are still missing two key ingredients: the classic rock and the fun. So crank up the Kansas and AC/DC and let's go back. I declare today, Happy SPN Fan Day!

I think my fav Supernatural quote in general is 4.18 The monster at the end of the book, Chuck: Horror is one thing but to be forced to live through bad writing..if I had known you were real, I would have done another pass. ReplyDeleteMy favorite comedy episode is definitely 'Changing Channels', the Grey's anatomy spoof cracks me up every time. You mentioned 'Mystery Spot'. The first time I watched it was more sad than funny but the more often you watch it the funnier it gets. I think the first time I was still a bit shocked to see Dean die and I didn't know what would happen at the end.

First of all it's an entire episode: "Changing Channels" My two favourite quotes from there (if you can only have two!) is KITT/Sam's "Should I honk???" and Dean speaking Japanese!!! His face was just pricelles, especially when he realized that he gave the right answer!!!

ReplyDeleteThere are just too many funny quotes to mention here. The funny episodes are hilarious ("Changing Channels") and all of the episodes are my favorites and that makes it much harder to pick just one or two out of the bunch. I love the show and the guys!
ReplyDeleteI was watching Born Under A Bad Sign yesterday and the line were Sam says to Jo: My daddy shot your daddy in the head. It was so freaky the way he said that. I thought Jared did such a great job playing possesed Sam. That was on of my favorite episodes.

ReplyDeleteThe best comedy episode by far is Bad Day at Black Rock and I highly doubt any episode will ever beat it for me. Episodes like Yellow Fever or Changing Channels tried and were great, but man, I can watch BDaBR a thousand times and laugh just as hard as for the first time. I mean, I'm a die-hard BDaBR fan. So for me it's three words:

The Nutcracker guy: Mr Trickster does not like pretty boy angels. --> for the guy's accent (mistaah trickstaah) and for calling Cas the pretty boy lol

well, yeah, I could go on like that. SPN rocks on one-liners and funny scenes. I hope we get some more of these soon this season.
