  1. This is a filler, right? this is a filler, right????? Unforgiven is not a title for a 'myth' episode... I want everybody forgiven on Supernatural... please :D

  2. who is unforgiven? ohhh WOW i feel bad abt this...., plzz all forgiven in spn...., O_o

  3. Well they did tell us the boys relationship would get much worse before it got better so I'd not be surprised if the Unforgiven is Sam. But we all know Dean, no matter what Sam is still his brother and he will find a way to get the "real" Sam back.

  4. Or maybe that's how Sam is gong to feel at that point in the season after getting back his soul which I suspect is going to happen mid-season. I believe souled Sam is going to be an emotional mess overcome by the personal toll of everything he did in the past year on top of his experiences in Lucifer's cage which I suspect were far from pleasant. I can see Dean fighting to prove to his brother that there is hope for hm and his future.

  7. Unforgiven is also the title of a movie, and since they have used a lot of movie/tv show titles this year I bet it has something to do with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unforgiven

  8. Oh crap, this title! Now I'm terrified.

I agree with you. After reading the synopsis of the movie, maybe Bobby will be the focus and he will become really active for one more big job. He's lost his wife and most of his friends and never seems truly happy. He sits in his house and we never hear about him doing anything else. The one time he reached out to a woman, she turned against him after he saved his life. It was really sad.

  10. "Unforgiven" wherein Sam and Dean are now retired hog farmers who take one more job?
So who's Clint Eastwood and who's Morgan Freeman?

  11. Yep, this one sounds like a real heartbreaker for our boys. I do agree, though, when Sam does get his soul back-and he will-he will probably be an emotional wreck for a good while.
Does anyone know anything more about the episode "Caged Heat"? I haven't seen anything since reading what the title of the episode was going to be.

  12. Worst that the way it is now? I hope not because seriously, it's getting redundant already. Enough, please. It's time to move ahead!

  13. I loved your post. I hope it's going to be like this!

  14. Wow, it's seriously called 'Unforgiven'?

Massive kudos to the girl who won a competition at the UK Supernatural Asylum Convention at Halloween to name next year's Supernatural Asylum Convention as 'The Unforgiven' Did she know? :P Great coincidence if not!

  15. Crap. I smell trouble. I'm feeling very nervous now :/

  16. Yes! Yes I like this. I actually had this epiphany while I was walking my dog this morning, but then I came home and got all sad again and then I saw your post and it made me all happy!

  17. I wish that when they gave episode titles, they'd give us a small synopsis along with it so we could get some sort of idea on what the episode might entail.

  18. Relax, Sam and Dean will always forgive each other. My guess is it's about Cas's "regrettable things" or it ties up Samuel's arc.

  19. Hehe The Unforgiven is actually my favorite Metallica song! ;P

    ReplyDelete
  20. Interesting. Thanks for the link. No wonder I didn't know it, it's a western. Lol

  21. The smell of trouble lingers around time all the time. Lol I think it only leaves for a short nap and is back in the next two or three episodes. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  22. Me too! I hope it has nothing to do with Dean not be able to forgive Sam -AGAIN!- Been there, done that! Let's move on, shall we?

  23. You know, I'm really fearful for Bobby this season. I hope TPTB don't kill him off because then I'll have to do some serious damage to Sera & Co............serious damage..........
    - anyhoo - I was watching Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid this morning - at the end Bobby was telling the boys that Death had come for him then. Course he didn't get him that time, but something tells me Death wouldn't give up too easy. And we know Death is still out there, and is due to turn up very soon.
Oh Sera pleeeaaaase don't kill Bobby!

  26. My guess is the title is in reference to Metallica more than the movie. Don't know what it is about but here are the casting sides:

This is for episode 6.13 - Unforgiven
[BRENNA DOBBS] Late 20s - early 30s, smart, devoted, determined and strong-willed, she is heartbroken at her husband's disappearance and been struggling to keep herself together...Please submit all ethnicities. GUEST STAR

[ROY DOBBS] Early 30s - A good, decent, smart, capable and courageous guy who tells his wife everything—he is a true good cop. He gets involved in an investigation that's clearly way above his experience...Please submit all ethnicities. GUEST STAR

  27. Unforgiven... at least for me is such a strong word, I mean, I think that there are few things in life that are unforgiven...So I'm so excited about this I strongly believe that there is nothing unforgiven between the boys...I'm sure of it

  28. My theology is a little weak, but could "the unforgiven" refer to souls trapped in purgatory?

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's possible. Sounds as good a theory as any. I wondered if that's where Sam's soul really is.

I'm not really into theology these days, and I was thinking - with all the debate going on as to what/where/if purgatory is - this is after all
    a) a TV show - so the theology can be whatever the writers want it to be;
    b) Supernatural - so see a) above.

Much as I love theorising, this season has so many possibilities it's giving me a headache.
So I'm just gonna wait and see for now.

  30. I have feelings this will be one of those cliffhanger, heartbreaking and tragic episodes. Maybe last one before hiatus? I assume it's because of Metallica's song and if you read the lyrics it can relate to things happening in SPN. I must say I have bad feelings about this ep. (Good in a way that it's gonna be AWESOME). CAN'T WAIT!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hahahaaa truee... *sniffs the air* the smell of trouble is still very strong :P

    ReplyDelete
  32. I had another thought about this title "unforgiven." In Catholicism there's an idea that if you confess your sins and do penance, unless they're mortal sins you'll be forgiven by God and get into Heaven. Now what if God has left for parts unknown? There would be no one to forgive people their sins, and all those people who would normally get into Heaven go to purgatory instead. It would explain why Crowley considers purgatory the hot new real estate market.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nah, the last episode before the hiatus is episode 11: Appointment in Samarra. Love that song :P
