FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10

"SUPERNATURAL" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)

"Appointment in Samarra" (CONTENT RATING TBD (HDTV)

DEATH RETURNS FOR A MEETING WITH DEAN - Dean (Jensen Ackles) seeks out Death (guest star Julian Richings) to help get Sam's (Jared Padalecki) soul back. Death tells Dean he will help Sam if Dean will agree to act as Death for 24 hours. Meanwhile, Sam decides he doesn't want his soul back and asks Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roché) for a protective spell to keep his soul out of his body. Balthazar tells Sam he needs the blood of his father for the spell to work and since John Winchester is dead, Sam decides Bobby (Jim Beaver) is the next best thing. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Sera Gamble & Robert Singer (#611).

  1. I'm so terribly disappointed in Sam. :(

I can't believe Sera said it'll end on a hopeful note. After reading this... I don't know. I'm so sad with Sam that I'm not thinking straight.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I knew it! Sam was lying in the last episode! You just can't trust him at the moment!

    ReplyDelete
  3. lol she said this ep will end on a good note or the season?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Well, we don't know what will happen at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  5. OMG.. okay I KNOW this is terrible but GOD it looks like an AWEsome episode.

My guess: Sam kills Bobby but Dean is death SO BOBBY DOESNT DIE. Samy gets his soul! KICKS HIMSELF to near death for what he did to bobby and then big hugs everybody is happy (dont worry I will never be a writer for this show ;))

    ReplyDelete
  6. The episode is supposed to end on a good note and make you make you look forward to episode 12.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Interesting?? um Sam not wanting his soul ? Dean is death ? welcome to SPN I think ?.

    ReplyDelete
  8. So! I have a doubt: what is the chapter where we can see Robert Englund??

    ReplyDelete
  9. So! I have a doubt: what is the chapter where we can see Robert Englund??

  10. True. But what Sam just did totally stole the meaning. He said he wanted his soul back. Dean will make a big effort to make it happen... And in the mean time he sneaks out to make it don't happen AND puts Bobby in danger?

I'm so pissed and sad that it's not even funny.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I hope not. I can't handle a dead Bobby again, even for a little while.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Dean as Death. Hmm, that has all kinds of possibility. My guess is he isn't going to like it much. Does that mean Death is going on vacation or heading off to face Crowley? That is one confrontation I am dying to see. Death doesn't have a lot of patience with cheekiness.

As for Sam, didn't we know something like this would happen? Well, not the attacking Bobby part, but the making a decision Dean isn't going to like part. I hope Dean/Death/someone stops him before he hurts his relationship with Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I hope that doesn't mean Sam is getting his soul back in this episode and then will be all angsty in episode 12. I like RoboSam and want him to hang around a bit longer. He can be resouled in the last 6 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  14. For all his attributes, Sam deciding to (maybe) kill Bobby is a very bad idea. First of all, we can't see Bobby die. Secondly, Bobby would kick sam's ass all the way to hell. Sam may be "a better hunter than he's ever been" but Bobby's the best. Not going to happen, Sam.

Also, why does Death want Dean to be him for a day? Very interesting...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, I'm glad you're enjoying this Sam because I sure as hell am not.

I want the real Sam back asap.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Actually I'm releaved that Sam acts like this, otherwise I would be very disappointed in the writers. A rational being without emotions wouldn't see the need to get them back in my eyes. He would see them as a burden, as something holding him back. So I wished for something among this line. I thought that Sam would either try to hide this soul somewhere or plan to destroy it.
Yes, Sam said he wanted his soul back but didn't you get a weird feeling when he said that. I immediately thought he was lying.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Am I the only one who is not sad about Sam wanting to keep his soul out? I kind of like bad-ass Sam x)

  18. Supernatural Junkie19 November 2010 at 21:56

Everyone should consider that Sam doesn't want his soul back because he doesn't want Dean to be put in this position. Remember what Dean went through in the pit when he agreed to torture in order to save himself. Dean may realize that these people are going to die anyway and the reaper we saw in "In My Time of Dying" may come back to help him. I believe I saw that she was seen on set during this season's taping.

    ReplyDelete
  19. No, I like bad-ass soulless non-trust-worthy Sam too. :D

    ReplyDelete
  20. *hides behind a rock* I'm very selfish and don't want the old Sam back until the season finale but we'll see what the writers have decided.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sera Gamble and the other creative minds behind this show for driving what was, in my opinion, the best show on television straight into the ground. Are they using a special "Supernatural memes that we have driven into the ground in previous seasons" template? Sam's a freak and Dean has to play bitchy babysitter. That's a classic! Oh wait, let's split the brothers up and have them working at cross purposes! Even better. Now, let's have Sam make a series of monumentally stupid decisions that he will regret forever. We sure haven't seen enough of that before.

When this season started, I dismissed all of the naysayers who claimed Gamble would ruin the show. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Now, all I have left are doubts. The entire Sam story line is so unwatchable, so riddled with holes and reeking of bullshit that I can't help but wonder what in the fuck were they thinking? This was supposed to be enjoyable? This was "fun and interesting?"

You are, in fact, alone in your view of this season, Sera Gamble. What you have done to this show and these characters is inexcusable. Do us all a favor and go work on "Jersey Shore." There's a show I would LOVE to see you destroy.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As much I want to believe it, I don't think Sam is worried about Dean's position AT ALL. He doesn't care and said that much.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Maybe the writers want to try a different approach than last season *cough* cop out *cough* when Sam and Dean reunited after ONE episode after ONE season of angsting (season 4).

    ReplyDelete
  24. I got your point. But I don't agree.

I believed him. And feeling so stupid now.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Are you kidding me? All this angst isn't enough for you? If the writers reunite the brothers only on season finale I'll be very, very pissed!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Don't. I mean Dean obviously trusted him. We can't be all distrusting pessimists like me ;D

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thanks... :)

But I should have known better. :\

    ReplyDelete
  28. Nope, I want more MORE ANGST! Muhahaha! ....*blush* Sorry, my inner fangirl for everything dark and angst got out. I'm not a writer, I just WISH for more angst and Sam's resouling at the end of the season finale, doesn't mean I'm right. ;D The great thing about season 6 is that they don't have to go that way like in previous seasons. There is so much storyline this season, they could easily give Sam his soul back in episode 12 and deal with Crowley, monster purgatory, the alphas, Castiel and war upstairs for the reast of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm sorry. Everyone has their opinion and liking.

I just don't want this..... "Sam" the whole season and I miss the brotherly love. Half of a season already passed and we didn't see one single truly brotherly moment. Because for ME these with Sam when doesn't give a shit for Dean isn't a real brotherly moment. I miss it. And I want it back.

However, Like I said to Dahne, I'm glad that at last some people can enjoy this.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Although I'm sure everyone is right and Sam will have to kill Bobby, the spoiler doesn't say how MUCH blood is needed for the spell. This doesn't mean Sam will kill Bobby, just try to take some of his blood and do the ritual. The ritual to find Balthazar took human blood and all it took was cutting Dean's hand.

OTOH, I am sick of them dragging this soulless Sam storyline out. Re-soul him or kill the body I can give up on hoping for a brotherly reunion. The payoff for this had better be good.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't like the sound of this episode description. I really hope Sam isn't successful in blocking his soul or whatever. I think 11 episodes without a soul is enough. It's about time his soul came back and we can start to see more of the old Sam. I am also dying to know what Sam will be like with a soul that has been in hell for about a year and a half (or longer in hell time).
This SamGirl is very disappointed, but trying so hard to be hopeful.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I bet that Dean will think the same thing. But if you want somebody you love back, you want to trust that person and in this case you/the audience/Dean wanted Sam back and wanted him to tell the truth. You were simply the complete opposite of me: optimistic! Nothing wrong with that! I admire that actually!
I want Sam + soul back too but I also want the maximum angst level because I know the more I see of this soulless Sam, the more I long for the old Sam, the more it will affect me when Sam is finally back and there is finally a real brotherly hug...*sob* Sorry, I got something in my eye.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I like your idea. As long as Bobby's death is temporary and Sam gets his soul back, I'm happy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Perhaps Zakko the writers were simply not up to the challenge of writing for a Sam and Dean who had exhibited some real growth. Thus, they turned to their handy dandy "what have we done before that we can do again" memes. Sad really, the show was brilliant for 5 Seasons.

    Whar Sam, plz halp

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think he did mean it. But don't forget what happens in 610. Both he and Dean almost die. I think that this experience will convince him that staying without a soul and not caring for everybody is better.

    ReplyDelete
  36. *hug* Do you feel better now? It's always a gamble if you love the next season of a show because the writers have to do something different but not too different that it's a completely new show. I'm sorry that you don't enjoy this season. But destroying? Don't think so. I mean Buffy survived that stupid key-sister stuff and Angel it's stupid demon pregnancy storyline. There is still hope, maybe the writers will surprise you and win you back.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The almost dying thing will happen in this episode.

I think it's the meaning is that what's making more sad and angry. Dean is doing all of this for nothing. If Sam doesn't want his soul back, just tell him already. There is no need for him to lie about it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. ~This was "fun and interesting?"~

Uh, yes? I love the storyline and I can't wait to see how they will get his soul back.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No... It's in this one. 6.11. I think you're confusing "December 10" with episode 10.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I love this season. Plot holes and all.
Sorry if this offends anyone but that's how it is for me.
Very much looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

    ReplyDelete
  41. But, the writers *have* done something so completely different that it feels like a different show. They've removed the most significant relationship in the show from the equation. Now, instead of brothers, we have a couple of guys who have no significant rapport riding around in an Impala together. And, the writers are rehashing old and tired schtick with the two of them. For me, it is neither enjoyable, nor interesting. It's painful. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather watch Sam drink demon blood.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well this made me sad of course. Dean is doing whatever it takes to take his brother back and Sam is doing whatever it takes to stop it. But this is what it supposed to be. Why the hell Sam wants his soul back?? i mean this new Sam. He is not Sam and he doesn't feel anything. And now he is much more better hunter than he's ever been. Is there any reason to want his soul back? I guess not. That's exactly what i expected cause he's not Sam and we can't expect him to act like Sam and help Dean. But plus, i'm so sorry about Dean right now. i know there's nothing he can't do for his brother include being death. And now he's all alone. it's so saaaaad :'(

    ReplyDelete
  43. Besides the resouling of Sam, you either want it to be done sooner or later, I really wonder about Death. Why would he bother to help the Winchesters? Maybe it's because they got rid of Lucifer for him....but then why does Death need Dean as a reaper? I'm sure there is no shortage of reapers right? Maybe Death's involvement means that Crowley was lying when he said that he brought back Sam and owns his soul. Maybe it was Death himself who brought back Sam. After Caged Heat, I don't know if I can stomach watching THAT episode *shudder*, I really look forward to this one.

I'm not going to think the worst yet. This season has kept us guessing so far. No need to think it won't now. The obvious is just that - the obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have this theory that Season 6 will follow the typical plot arc structure that certain seasons of Buffy, Angel, and other shows tend to follow. It typically goes like this:

    Episodes 1-7: Introduction
    Episodes 8-15: Complication
    Episodes 16-22: Resolution

And another thing that usually happens in this structure is the midpoint twist that occurs in Episode 11. In the case of Supernatural Season 6, that twist will be Sam getting back his soul and dealing with the emotional fallout of everything he's been through in Hell and the things he's done during his time as Soulless Sam. Sam's attempt to keep his soul from getting back inside him will fail or go awry and by the end of the episode, Sam will be resouled. For a time, he will seem okay. But only for a time.

I agree with some of you who say that half of a season of soulless Sam is enough. As long as Soulless Sam is around, the brothers' relationship can't be healed or at least begin the process of healing that it really needs after the events of Season 5. And I think Sera Gamble said the whole mystery of Sam will cover the first half of the season so I think that includes getting back his soul. Episode 11 will be the finishing line for Soulless Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I hate to say it, but a few posts back I predicted something like that...
The post also says that Sam decides - which means he wasn´t lying to Dean but he changed his mind - not to want his soul back.
So something must happen in between these episodes that makes Sam reluctant about getting his soul back.
And I think the spell is not gonna work anyway. Sam may think of Bobby as a father but he is not, so no working spell.

And kill me all you want, I like it. Makes good Drama!

    ReplyDelete
  47. " You are, in fact, alone in your view of the season"

Sera is not. I for one am loving the storyline. Yes, Gamble has ruined the brothers - and that is what makes it so good in my mind. Dean is sad, longing, and just wants his brother. Sam can't feel anything. It's not how they show their brotherly bond, it's the ways they are willing to go to get it back. That makes them truly brothers.

Also, from what I've seen so far, Season 6 is already better than season 5 and 1. Season 5 had way too much filler/comedy for the apocalypse and #1 seemed a little slow.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Supernatural Junkie19 November 2010 at 22:55

I kind of feel the same way, but I'll keep watching in hopes that things will turn around. I'm really looking forward to tonight's episode because it looks kinda lighthearted.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I like the way you're thinking PIgeon. :) I have every faith in Sera & Co.

  50. After 'Swan Song' that was a given. They couldn't bring back Sam and EVERYTHING would be ok, there needed to be dramatic consequences or they would destroy the entire impact of the season 5 finale. I love Swan song, it's my favorite finale ever, sure it's not perfect but very close. I completely agree that season 6 feels different but the characters are still the same and the story progress seems logical (to me). I also like the changes. It wouldn't make sense if the brothers would behave like before, Sam is not there. It's just a shell walking around, not the real Sam. What old and tired schtick? Sam never behaved like a cold and calculating guy before. Even in season 4, he was never bad, evil or cold, he only wanted to help people and gain power. Unfortunately, he become a chess figure in the play of heaven and hell. I was glad that Sam was just drinking demon blood, for a while I suspected it was demon sex that made him stronger and I SO didn't want to see that *shudder*
I mean what did you expect? That Sam would be ok and like in season 5, everything would be ok between the brothers....after 4 episodes? The Winchester brothers paid with Sam's soul for saving the world, I think that's great writing. And now they have to WORK to get it back and because this is Supernatural, it will be a hard and difficult fight to get it back.

    ReplyDelete
  51. "It's not how they show their brotherly bond, it's the ways they are willing to go to get it back."

Where is Sam going to get it back?

    ReplyDelete
  52. The first thing that entered my mind is if Dean is Death for 24 hours, maybe he would deal with Crowley? If Death is powerful enough to eventually reap God, shoudn't a punk ass crossroads demon -- even one who climbed the ladder -- be afraid of him? Especially if he's suddenlt someone who you've managed to manipulate and completely piss off? Hmmm... to suddenly have that kind of power over everything.... good thing it's Dean. Don't think I'd trust too many other people with that kind of muscle.

As for Sam, yeah, who didn't know he'd eventually change his mind about wanting his soul. Not sure he ever really wanted it back to begin with. I suspected he was just saying what needed to be said to keep Dean near, but I still haven't figured what his agenda is. He has one, I'm sure of it, just haven't gotten any clues yet. If he needs the blood of his father, Bobby won't do. He's 'like' a father to them, but I think spells are pretty literal. Use your brain, Sam. But, John Winchester's blood flows thru Dean, too, so....

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think it is natural for RoboSam not to want his soul back too. He associates it with pain and keeping him from being the best hunter. (Don't throw stuff - I don't agree - I just think he thinks it.) This Sam is nothing if not about the hunting. He wouldn't want anything to interfere, even a pesky soul.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Every season of every show has plotholes. ;D Season 6 rocks!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think he was saying what he thought Dean expected to hear, just like he has been doing the whole time. It's like he knows what he should say, what would be the most effective thing to say, but he doesn't feel what he says. This Sam is bottom-line practical and he will do whatever he needs to meet his objectives.

    ReplyDelete
  56. There is something confusing and contradictory in your statement. Ruining the brothers was good because it allows Dean to go to extraordinary lengths to fix Sam, and it allows Sam to . . . what? . . . be forced to be en-souled? I'm not seeing any indication that Sam is going to be doing anything to get back the bond he had with Dean. This makes them truly brothers? I apologize if I've not characterized your statement accurately, but that is how it reads to me. Also, if i missed a spoiler indicating that Sam will be doing anything at all to voluntarily get his soul back, please enlighten me.

First seasons frequently are a bit slow as they are spent establishing characters and relationships. And, I disagree that Season 6 is in any way better than Season 5. Sam and Dean grew during Season 5. Sam accepted responsibility for his actions. He did what he had to do to clean up his own mess. And, Dean let Sam do that. He treated Sam as an adult capable of making his own decisions. Now, we're back to Dean trying to fix/save his freak brother. Not exactly a leap forward in character development.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think you are right. This Sam wants to do the job, whatever that may be. Having a soul will just get in his way. He doesn't have the capability to process how emotions would effect others right now so it's not for Dean that he's going soul-less.

    ReplyDelete
  58. It's not a matter of being pessimist or optimist. He doesn't care about Dean. IF Sam told Dean the truth at the end of the last episode about wanting his soul back, then something will happen to change his mind.

If he was worried about Dean's position he would find a way to tell Dean to not to do it. But it seems that Dean will, so he doesn't even know that Sam changed his mind and is doing Death's work for nothing.

Sam isn't doing this for Dean. he doesn't have empathy. He is doing it for himself.

Oh and Yes... Tessa is in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Mmm... Two things: 1. Supernatural is not as serialized as Angel or Buffy. Episode 8 didn't complicate anything in the ploteline 2. How does the whole purgatory, alpha mobilizing armies, angel/demon storyline fit into your structure?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm not sure if you're supportive of my comment or not, but I probably should have said the ways Dean is willing to go. My mistake. But what I was trying to say was that my view on a brotherly bond would be how they bounce back from rough times.

Also. Sam does not have his soul. It would be lazy writing used to create hope if Sam actually wanted his soul back. As someone above said, (I think it was Jillyanne or Claudia) A guy with no soul would see feelings as weaknesses.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Totally agree with you! I enjoy season 6 way more than the fun!apocalypse that was season 5!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I agree - and since when has anything been easy in Winchesterland? The fight to get Sam's soul back is going to be an epic battle -especially if Sam has decided he doesn't want it back. And why would he? - Dean told him having a soul is painful - it's just easier not to feel.

    ReplyDelete
  63. She's not alone in her views, because there are many of us who are enjoying the mindfreak that is this season. They have taken a big risk with this plot line but Supernatural has taken big risks since the pilot. So far, it is paying off for me. As long as it the resolution shows they had a coherent game plan all season, I'm excited. This is by far a superior season for me than season 5. I also don't think we can call plot holes yet, since Supernatural has a way of revealing/filling those holes as the season goes along. The slow unwind of what is actually happening as compared to what we think is happening is one of my favorite things about Supernatural. I find the major twists that have been coming at us from all sides extremely "fun and interesting" and I was one of those naysayers you spoke of. (Not about Sera's capabilities but about them topping the Apocalypse.)

    ReplyDelete
  64. dawn and Connor - now those 2 really were potential show killers. Ugh! I'd add lovelorn Spike to the list. He was so awesome as the villain.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Nothing has ever ben easy. ;D Didn't they say to somebody in 'Wishful Thinking' that they had to fight with tooth and nails for everything they got? When soulless Sam has decided that he doesn't want to get it back that only means Dean has to fight harder, for both of them, since the real Sam (his soul) depends on him. Man, wouldn't Iit be awesome if the show could do a flash to the cage and Sam....Stupid budget! *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  66. i don't think Death wants Dean to be a reaper -- he wants him to take over as the actual Horseman. I'm sure being Death for -- well forever -- gets trying. Maybe he has a plan or maybe he just wants to take a little vacation. I hope for Dean's sake, he's a... man... of his word and comes back!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Well, Sam can't make his own decisons right now. He needs a moral compass. He doesn't have a soul, for goodness's sake! But to each their own.

Also, in regards to your first paragraph - I explained myself above. :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Season 5 was boring too in parts. It was supposed to be the APOCALYPSE but there was less action in that season than any other one. I am happy to see them mix it up and I like the intensity of this season, something sadly lacking last season for the most part.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I just wanted to understand what you meant, actually.

Dean is doing everything he can to get his brother back while 'Sam' is now trying to stop it. Ok, I get that "Sam" wouldn't want to have his soul back, but I can't see it as being them working together as brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Amen to that. I like how some people are getting bigger parts (Crowley) and the new people (Balthazar), but I really like how it's kept me guessing and wondering. The only thing missing has been the comedy and music. Thankfully, the comedy looks to be settled tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I expected consequences for Sam being trapped in a cage between two really pissed off archangels. I expected that the Sam who went in would not be the Sam who came out. I expected that the brothers would have to work through those difficulties together. I did not expect Sam to come out of that cage without a soul. And, I am among those who believe that whatever happened to him happened after he was pulled out, not before or during. I do not think that the mythology of the show would support Crowley pulling him from an archangel-proof prison, and I will have great difficulty with any retcon that might be attempted to make this possible as it would break the mythology entirely. Sam appeared under a street light, not in the middle of a field. So, he either lied to Dean about what he remembers of coming back, or something happened after he was plopped down outside Lisa's house. Given that it took an entire season and a very specific set of circumstances to open the cage the first time, I have a really difficult time thinking that Crowley could open it at all. I don't think they paid with Sam's soul. I think they paid with Sam's life. I think logically there is only one being introduced in the SPN universe capable of getting Sam out of the cage, and it isn't Crowley.

As for the old and tired schtick:

    1) Sam as freak and Dean as babysitter
    2) Sam lying to Dean
    3) Separating the brothers
    4) Having the brothers work at cross purposes
    5) Sam making bad decisions which he will later regret

All of these things has been done before. Do we need to see them again? Could they not come up with a different progression?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh, sorry! I was just making sure. Better to be safe than sorry!

And Sam isn't truly Sam anymore, is he? Oh well. We can always have cas come in as the new brother! Don't worry, I'm kidding. :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh Sue please no.... Sam wouldn't do that to Dean? Oh he probably would.... no he wouldn't.... Oh why did you say that .... I'm really worried now..........

    ReplyDelete
  74. Ooo, I like your brain SuePo. Dean does have John's blood in him. Hopefully, they won't go this route. Actually, I don't think they could if Dean is Death. Still, interesting idea. let's hope Sam doesn't think of it.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Agreed. Sam is acting like someone without a soul should be acting. I said this was going to get messy and this is exactly the kind of stuff I was referring to. Sam is abandoning his soul and he needs Bobby's blood to keep it away. This is going to get ugly.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I hope so. It's about time we had some comedy...... and we'll need a good laugh by the end of this discussion :P

    ReplyDelete
  77. I'm okay with it for now. It's fun to watch how Padaleki plays his character without his soul. Even simple facial expressions are hilarious now. As long as they don't wait until the last couple of episodes to get it back then I've got no complaints.

  78. Absolutely. I agree 100%. The fact is, it's impossible. He is not capable of caring. You need a soul for that.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Whoa. I wouldn't go that far yet. Season 5 had The Four Horsemen, Zachariah, "Changing Channels", "The Real Ghostbusters", and plenty of Castiel. Season 6 can't beat that yet.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I can't agree with you there. I think Supernatural is just as serialized as Buffy.

    ReplyDelete
  81. He he, I hope they are not doing the music thing. Have you heard Jared sing?

    ReplyDelete
  82. I have mixed feelings about all of this. I'm still willing to give the season a chance. The writers could completely turn it around and make it so that it's not what we think it is. I've been watching a few of the old shows each week, and I keep pulling pieces from those to come up with new theories. This week I was watching the "All Hell Breaks Loose" shows and and thinking that it would be cool if the ability to plant thoughts in other people's mind, in connection to the demon blood storyline, was tied to Sam-bot. Like maybe the real Sam is out there somewhere, and his body (without soul) was brought to life, and Sam is pushing his memories and some agendas into this empty shell for some purpose - maybe to get info on what Crowley is really up to. Sambot is a puppet being controlled by the real Sam, and maybe Sam is even messing with Dean a little (the conversation about sleeping with the hippie chick). Something like that would be cool because I like Sam as an intelligent, evolved character. He doesn't have to be angsty all of the time, but I want him to evolve, not devolve. I'm even OK with a dark side, as long as he doesn't go too far in that direction and stays smart and doesn't turn into a caricature.

I'm looking forward to tonight's show, and I promise to keep an open mind to the humor, but if the dumber and dumber schtick lasts for more than a couple of episode, I think I'll be joining you in complaining about the direction of the show.

On a side note - I think Bobby can take care of himself, and that scene could be really funny.

  83. okay. I have been dying for this episode ever since Sera said that one of our boys would in up in a life or death situation, but this just in: Sera says that before they go on hiatus Sam will get an ass-kicking, and that Robert the doctor will find them in a hardcore life-or-death situation. What I really don't get is how are they going to end up in a life- or death situation, if Dean is seeking out death, and Sam wants Baltazar to put a protective shield on him so he can't get his soul, then what was the point in saying that they will be in a life- or death situation if it all turns around? But I guess that will be answered when ep 11 gets here. But I like RoboSam, I mean its interesting, and yes I want them to get back to their brotherly love, but its a new route, and a new season we have a long way to go, before we even get to the whole Sam possibly getting his soul back, but I don't think he will get the protective shield, but it would be awesome if he did, and then later on decide he doesn't want it anymore. I really want him to not get his soul back, and the whole time I was with my friend we both agreed that 1. Sam doesn't want his soul back and he is lying.

But you have to admit, the more pain they go through the more they begin to understand the new brother, I mean Dean was gone and with Lisa and Ben for a year, while Sam (knowing how long he was in the pit) and came back soulless. Speaking of which Sera said ep 10 would be the ep where we know more about Sam's time down in hell, which is Caged Heat. I am so looking forward to these episodes, I mean to see all of this would be nice. Sam not having his soul is nice, this new Sam is a better hunter, and has all these smart remarks, as for Bobby, yeah I don't think Sam will hurt Bobby, I think he might tie him up good, get his blood and have Balthazar do whatever he has to do, but I really want Sam to get the protective shield on his soul, think about it it would be interesting, and I think if I remember Angels can erase your memory, so all Balthazar would have to do is touch his forehead which knocks him out, get the blood, do the protective shield, erase his memory, and just lie about it. I think it'll be cool, don't doubt Sera she has been with them just like us, from day 1, if anything she knows what she is doing, and so do the writers.

Just give her a chance, and don't complain so much, because did you see last fridays ratings we dropped and got 2.8 million viewers from our usual 2.50 million viewers, we wanted a season 6, and we want a season 7 for those of you that don't or didn't this doesn't really apply to you, but if you love the show like you claim you'll do everything you can to get those ratings back up, because if they cancel the show, then we'll be hurt and want to protest, do it because you love the show, and the boys, do it because of the same damn reason why you stuck with the show from day one: Because it makes you happy and jump up in down like a little kid on Christmas, remember each season we had wasn't the same, the brothers didn't always have that brotherly love, they had to move pass that make mistakes and find their own destiny only to find out that in the end it will always entwine as one whether one is for good and the other for evil. we went from monsters, to souls, from souls to selling one souls, from that to angels, then from angels to destiny, and now this.

All I ask is that you keep the ratings up and do it because of the same reason why you stuck with the show from day one, don't doubt the writers, or Sera, and don't doubt our boys because if anyone can make you hungry for more its them, they still deserve our support, and we deserve to not throw in the towel because things don't go our way in the first few episodes. Sorry it's long but that's how I feel.

  84. Very true. It also definitely picked up steam at around episode 13 - but I think that the first 10 episodes were pretty disappointing.

In order:SFTD was fine, not great, GGY was better, FTBYAM was pretty boring until the end, The End was fantastic, Fallen Idols was horrible, IBTCAOF was disapointing, TCCODW had good quotes but pretty much nothing else except for Bobby, Changing Channels was awesome, I seem to have an extremely different opinion on the real ghostbusters, and AAH was good.

This is just my opinion. :)

In comparison, Season 6: EOMS was so different and engrossing, TAAHM was pretty good, and I love shapeshifters, TTM was good but plotted weird, WAB was absolutely superb, LFoT was bad, YCHTT was amazing, Family matters was amazing, and ADGTH was amazing.

Again, just an opinion. It can change, but for now it's outdone #5. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. And Crowley - don't forget Crowle y - he's already done more in S6 than S5. Loooove Crowley.......even though I hate him. So conflicted......*sighs*

    ReplyDelete
  86. I like Crowley too, but he was more fun as a character before he was king of Hell. All demons are dicks when they have too much power.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yay Rayna....... you tell them......we need to be reminded what life would be like WITH NO WINCHESTERS AT ALL. Life would suck out loud :(((((
    So support the show.
If they cancel it - there's no getting it back...............

    ReplyDelete
  88. I will agree that season 5 had some stinkers. "Good God, Y'all", "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester", "Sam Interrupted", and "Swap Meat" weren't particularly enjoyable as far as I'm concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  89. All demons are dicks. Regardless of how much power they have ....... but then so are angels.....even Cas......sometimes......

    ReplyDelete
  90. I meant the classic rock. I understand (and hate) budget cuts but can you throw us a bone every other episode?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Sorry, as much as I love the Winchesters, if the writers break the mythology of the show, I'll tune out. And, last weeks ratings were not that high. The overnights were 2.08, a significant drop in ratings for the boys; they were back up with a 36% increase from dvr . . . Live+7 was 2.48.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Well, I for one was pre-empted so that may have something to do with it too.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I think the music will come back when we get "Sam and Dean" back. I'm in the camp that this Sam isn't the real Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Well yeah, when we'll get it back it's gonna be SO EPIC because we miss it so much.

I LOVE angst I'm qith claudia on that one hehehe. More they is the better :DDD And it's more real.
------- Okay I was gonna say something but I forgot cause I wrote "Dean and Sam..."! and wtf is it normal that I think this is weird? It's Sam and Dean. Not Dean and Sam.... OKAY soorry crazy moment but it really freaked me that i care ahahahahahah LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  95. .... If they can make it work it would be awesome!!! But I'm scared it will get "redondant?" (thats french i think... repeatitive....) if sam is always doing something bad then dean telling him not to do this. sam "okay I wont. trust me" and then doing it again and SO ON....

So far its great though eeheheh. And eps 11 looks awesome cause honestly why the HELL would No-soul Sam wants his soul back to "suffer alone in a room" (r what ever dean said in the sneak peek LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  96. But you shouldnt feel stupid you were right to believe sam it says " Sam decides he doesn't want his soul back" So he just changed his mind. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  97. He wasnt lying. it says "Sam decides he doesn't want his soul back" I say he changed his mind. he has no soul he can just realize that he is way better like this.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Wow I'm depressed after reading this. Sorry I got nothing better or more intelligent to say that I Love this season so far. And souless Sam is a big part of it. Yes I love the show for the brothers' relashonship and its why its soooo good that they dont have that this year, it hurts its perfect, I want it back, it's like when you watch a romance tv show you want the two character to just get together so much and its frustrating that they dont but that's why you watch... okay bad exemple. I know what I mean hope some one else does too.

It's original, it's fun, it brings a lot of angst (what can I say i love this). I love when the brothers are apart cause it makes the best episode and then when they are back as a team it makes me soooo happy feels like my heart is gonna explose LOL. But if they are cool with each other then we dont get those moments.

And for the holes you are talking about I think we just dont know what is going on yet. You cant say there are holes if you dont know the story. The promos are all about dont trust any one .. Crowley is a demon maybe he is freaken lying about sam's soul we dont know.

I think this season is harder to figure out cause its not as simple as previous seasons. It feels a litlle like s2 when we didnt know what the hell was yed plan.... I see how it can work all together but we will have to wait and see if it does or if thats bullshit. But I think they had a very precised plan for this year in other to get the okay from kripke to do an other season, its not like if they wrote 1 ep without knowing what was coming next.

Okay im stoping talking.. guess i had something to say after all, not in great words but any way :PPP

Sumary : LOVE the season, LOVE Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  99. You wish you could quit... so why don't you, lol? Also, if you're looking for funny just watch tonight's episode. Should be good. :)

Also, (I've said that word way too much) You think they've ruined Bobby? He hasn't changed that much...

    ReplyDelete
  100. Men this is depressing. Fans are really split between I like and I dont because of Souless Sam. but we will get Sammy back, hope that once we do every one will be on track with the show again.

About the Jokes.... I think your frustration doesnt help but yeah some arnt working this season :S

Even If I love it, I can't help but agree with what you said hahaha. Great I love feeling like this 18 min before the show :P. I'll be smiling in 30 min any way. Ben Ed. just cant desapoint me ;) Hope you watch and like it BOBYE

PS: For every one, sorry I'm commenting on comments like this but I NEED to, like really NEED TO. hehehe :DDDD

    ReplyDelete
  101. I wish I could convey in words how much I want to think of this like you do. At bare minimum, I think they extended the soulless sam story line far too long. Up to 5 episodes would have been really interesting. Regardless of what happens, they have forced themselves into dealing with three massive storylines (heaven, hell, monsters) into half the season. Just on a pure critique of pacing, they took a dangerously risky story line and extended twice as long as it should have been, and put the meat of the season on a back burner, until they only have 11 episodes to deal with it all. This was poor planning. This was Smallville level pacing problems.

I really do hold out hope that they can plug up those holes, but in defense of good writers everywhere, if you are going to do things with a story that will anger a huge number of your fans, that can be really good drama, IF you thread through it enough hope and enough hints to keep them hooked. I haven't missed an episode of Supernatural in three years. I have missed very few of the eps they play in syndication. I can say honestly, if they don't do some serious fixing and explaining, I don't intend to watch beyond this episode mentioned above.

That's just consistently poor decision making, on multiple levels. In some ways, I wish I was alone in thinking all of this. Because then I could just cut my losses, and the show would go on, providing jobs to some great actors and entertainment to people who like it. If the slide continues, there will be no more show. I suppose if that happens, at least Jared and Jensen will be free to prove how talented they are on a much larger scale.

Here's hoping you are right, and I am wrong. And if I am? I will eat crow for a week, and post here about how utterly wrong I was. If I am right, well "I told you so" is a pretty damned hollow victory.

    ReplyDelete
  102. God thanks for this. It cheered me up. I read two very long and depressive comment and I want to be in a happy mood for tonight's epside. IT LOOKS AWESOME! SO THANKS SO MUCH HUN!

And for the ones who doesnt like the season because the brothery love isnt there, i got one thing for you... IT WILL BE BACK! SO PLEASE WATCH and if we get a season 7 it will BE BROTHERY FULL OR LOVE!!! They cant make an other season just like the previous one. So suck it up for this one for every one LIKE me WHO loves SOULESS SAM ( and how can you not he is badass) and then you will get every thing you want and it will all be worth it in the end. I MEAN c'mon, 13-16eps without SAMMY and then we get him, cant you just SEE DEAN'S reaction? AW EPIC EPIC EPIC. Like that freaken hug in season 4... AW! god thats a HUG! any way IM HAPPY NOW

    ReplyDelete
  103. Yeah sorry I've invested 5 years into watching these characters, have done my very best to encourage others to watch the show in hopes to improve the ratings, so I'm sadly invested in the characters enough to hold on hopes that the show can get it's shit together. Plus I'm a fan of Jared and Jensen, and until the show get canceled or ends, this is pretty much my only venue to see these 2 actors. I'll see if I actually find any funny in tonights episode, but with Sam!Bot there, he pretty much knocks me out off the funny immediately, since I know that the emotions are fake as fuck and the sucker can't be trusted

Yeah as far as Bobby goes, they completely ruined his character for ME when he didn't tell Dean that Sam was in fact alive. His high handed I know best & whats good for you attitude, especially in light of what's really going on with Sam. has ruined his character for me. Now if they had actually addressed it and realistically dealt with the situation, and Bobby fucking apologized, I might have been slightly ok with it, but again the complete lack of major anger on Deans part, and Bobby's blase attitude about the whole situation, now every time Bobby's on screen I just want him to GTFO. And again this makes me sad, I was a huge Jim B fan, loved him on Deadwood and now I'm rooting for him to die permanently!

    ReplyDelete
  104. one bad day doesnt mean any thing. And its on friday night. A lot of the viewers are young and goes out, what can we do? :P Not a lot of people bitch their friends for a tv show like me :DDD (joking...)

    ReplyDelete
  105. I think it makes more sense like this.

    ReplyDelete
  106. OKAY WO! I can repest you dont like it but please... Smallville like (kidding)

I wish every angry fans were like you at least you sound like you care. I dont want to tell you shut up and watch. (okay this is supose to be a compliment.... in my defense I slept 3 hours .... saw HP at midnight ANY WAY)

OMG ITS STARTING... no time to talk. Just I respect what you said and thanks for explain, I was getting tired of not hearing about why people dont like the season but knowing that they do.. if that makes any sense.

And how about a deal that neither of us says " I told you so" :P

    ReplyDelete
  107. Yeah fandom is really divided, , a lot of people are just leaving instead of waiting it out, but it says a lot, when a fan like me who usually give the online bitchery a wide berth, is frustrated to the point I'm actually posting on venues like this. Look I really hope for all our sakes, that the show can get back to being enjoyable (for the most part) for all of us, I'm just wondering if they'll be able to win back the fans who have jumped ship. Between the change of nights and the massive alteration to the "core" of the show, the massive changes have left many feeling just plain bitter, and again I think you're going to see this effect the ratings a lot more, I could be wrong we'll have to see. But yep after 5 years of breath holding every time the show was up for renewal, I will be extremely disappointed and pissed if the show bite's it because the writes have done a great job of driving/pushing the fans away.

Sorry don't mean to piss on your enjoyment of the show, I really am glad and fucking envious of those who are enjoying it, I'm so wrapped up in the D&S drama I'm not even bitching about Castiel anymore (which would be shocking if you knew me), but my priorities are focused on Sam and Dean. And unlike some, I really don't want to see the show get canceled, but I also can't bear this season so far, and it's actually hard work for me to get through each episode without chucking something at my monitor, because yep I've stopped watching the show live.

Yeh, I hope I don't spend another episode huffing and puffing, and wanting to punch everyone on screen the hell out!! But I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one the ~humor is falling flat for, I didn't even laugh at Sam being shove into a tiny car, WFT 2 seasons ago that would have been epically funny. If you had told me 2 years ago, that I would be feeling this way about Supernatural I would have laughed, sadly the laugh seems to be on me.. Fucking Gambles, I was excited when I heard she took over, she had seemed to be on the same page about the brother relationship as was, but now I'd like to shove her in a locker and pound on the side until she catches a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Like what... Dean is a freak dean is lying to sam .:D

Kidding sorry. You say the show is about the brother (r I'm mistaking with someone else sorry :S) so how can the show go on without it touching the brother relashonship in some ways. And since they only have two caracters its eiter we say "its always the same thing" or "oh so orignal, you switched who lied to who"...

    ReplyDelete
  109. Dont be sorry, in a weird way it makes me happy to see that fans who doesnt like where the show is going is hanging on to it and keeping hope it will get better.

AW c'mon dont say that about Gambles :(. God poor girl, I can just imagine how many hate letters she is receiving, and i know she reads the fans comment...

SO any way. Glad to see a real fan in the "pissed off" group lol ! Real Fan = you are so crazy that you watch even when you hate.

And as for Castiel... I LOVE HIM!.... Fav character ever lol. Is it just me or the fans that arnt liking this season doesnt like cas either... though im basing this on 5 poeple...

    ReplyDelete
  110. I'm really not sure what us, as the viewing public, can do to get it through to the writers that this storyline b/s is just not working and that long time viewers are tuning out. Apart from turning off the tv and voting with our absence I can't see how we can get our point across. As far as I can see, the writers who have banged on again and again that they have their fingers on the pulse of fandom, are in no way taking on board that this such beloved show is turning into a walking disaster. All that this show once was is just a pale memory, the brothers relationship is down the drain, the characters are now so far removed from who we once cared about and the writers are too far up eachothers backsides to see that they are murdering all that we have held dear. It really is to the credit of Jensen and Jared that people are still tuning in, but ultimately, that will also not be enough. From someone who has been with the brothers since the first episode I'm now in the position that I would never dream of recommending this show to a new viewer, and am so very near to waving it goodbye, and from the social networks, blogs, boards etc, that I subscribe to, I'm so far from alone.

    ReplyDelete
  111. So... from an episode of fairies to an episode about being death for 24 hours.
I swear to God, this show is turning into CHARMED!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  112. I have to change one of my statements. I have looked forward to tonight's episode since Comic Con. There was so much potential and instead we got cracks about Sam's "condition." This was like fart jokes at a funeral. Emotionless!Sam was excited then angry, then horny, then curious, and then soulless.

Dean was a moron, and I got one laugh.

    I can't watch this anymore.

I hope everyone else enjoyed it and continues to enjoy it. I will pretend that the show ended with a forlorn Sam under a street lamp. That would be entirely preferable than this.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Why should either brother have to lie to the other? Why recycle? Why not do something entirely different? Just a thought. Doesn't matter to me at this point. I think tonight fixed it for me. I'll tune in again after Sam is back maybe, depending on how they explain it. If the cage is suddenly not archangel proof . . . or some other cheap bs, I'll be done for good. I love the show for the brothers, but I also have a keen interest in how the mythology was created and the rules that apply there. If the writers break those rules or try to retcon a stupid explanation . . . SPN will be gone anyway.

Tonight's funny episode was anything but for me. So sad to say good bye to show even if it's only for a little while.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Aw the question of Castiel, let's just say that the opinion of A LOT of people is, the creation of Castiel and his storyline was the beginning of the decline of the show. I was ok with him at first, but in my humble opinion the inclusion of Castiel is fan service of the highest order, I would love to see him get a spin off, then his fans could enjoy him and I could ignore that he ever existed. Plus I'm sorry so not a popular opinion, but from what I've seen of Misha at the Cons, I just don't like his personality, which is messed up because he has a really interesting back ground, but I think the Minion ruined him with the adoration, wish the dude could actually answer a questions seriously!!! But yeah fairly or unfairly, he is a real focal/key point for many of us who have disliked the route the show has been going in for awhile.

And yes I'm a real fan, I haven't loved the previous 2 season, but still found enough to enjoy about the brothers to hold on, god I really am masochistic. But then again I kept buying the lies the creator/writes have been selling for the past 2 years, the Angel/Demon storyline is done, the brotherly bond is returning and the best one We Haven't Jumped the Shark, really talk about a self fulfilling prophecy because the ham fisted plot device known as Adam really did throw the decline in quality into high gear (since it was a cop out and stupid). But really it's not a case of I love to hate, more along the lines of I loved and why are you trying to make me hate it. I do think the writers do an excellent job of writing stand alone episodes but their either to lazy or just don't give a shit enough to pull off long term storylines that are true to the characters and their own cannon. And that wasn't/isn't just an Gables issue, Kripke is directly responsible for a lot of this mess, just to fairly spread the blame around. And no I've never thought Kripke was a god, he just got incredibly luck with 2 actors who often transcended the writing, and did an excellent job of making me invested in their fictional characters, I know I wouldn't have stuck around this long if it wasn't for Jensen and Jared.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I laughed almost the whole way through. Sorry you didn't enjoy it. I hope you try the DVD when it comes out. Maybe you'll like it better when you don't have to wait so long to see how they resolve things.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Sorry you didn't like it. I found it to be very weird but I laughed throughout. I loved SociallyAwkward Sam because he made me laugh. In fact, his line about "not supposed to laugh here, right?" had me practically on the floor with laughter. Maybe this is a season where it would be easier for you to wait to the end to see how it all turns out and then watch it all on DVD. I've had a couple shows where I needed to be reassured that I would like the ending before I could continue to watch the season. Buffy was one.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Change is hard and we have had a lot of change this season. Still, not everyone is unhappy about the changes and I would hope that they wouldn't let criticism stop them from running out the story they have planned. After all, Supernatural fans have been highly critical since day one on this show. However, I can guarantee they are listening. They always do. That's why the Roadhouse burned to the ground at the end of season 2. Fans drove them to that decision, although I'm guessing some of those same fans regret that now.

    ReplyDelete
  118. this storyline is working pretty well for me... well, maybe except the thing with Crowley and purgatory, but this description looks pretty awesome for me. Dean being Death for 24 hours? I say hell yeah. Sam working with Balthasar behind Dean's back? sad, but interesting. Sam needing his father's/Bobby's blood to do it? that sounds pretty epic for me. So don't generalize so much, some of us really enjoy season 6.

The show has changed? Tha characters have changed? I say that's the whole point of keeping a show going for six years. If nothing ever changed, if characters didn't develop, we would be bored to death after two, three seasons. Example? I loved early, careless, funny Dean, but I also love him mature and serious. He's a couple years older and has been through some hell (literally and metaphorically) so that's natural. The brother relationship is having a hard time, because Sam has no soul, but it's not that they didn't have their problems before. I'm pretty sure we'll see some emotional brother scenes once Sam gets his soul back (which I'm sure he will).

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ditto. Season 6 rocks for me. It's totally different, but it's obvious we're never getting the season 1 or 2 Supernatural ever again, because of everything that has happened since then. But this season is great with mysteries, lies, puzzles. It has an atmosphere of it's own, which I love as well! I might not like some details like the grandpa resurrected or Crowley the king of hell, but overall it's really interesting and exciting and I love the fact I have no idea where it all leads (so much unlike season 5).

    ReplyDelete
  120. I've been getting the impression that Sam-bot for some reason wants Dean working for Crowley, or for Dean to turn bad. Moments that truly seem to interest him are Dean turning into a monster, Dean admitting to Veritas that he's meant to be a killer, and Dean agreeing to work for a demon. Sam's comment to Dean about wanting his soul back appeared to be only a means to encourage Dean to do what Crowley said. It's how I'm seeing these scenes, anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  121. The other thing I've been wondering about is why Sam is not back to drinking demon blood again. It made him much more powerful. The only thing stopping him from drinking was his soul.

    ReplyDelete
  122. lol yeah or lost. cause 7 days wait is just killing me when a show give you NOTHING each week. (i love it btw hahahaha)

    ReplyDelete
  123. OKay the jokes were funny, you are just mad at the season.
so I take back my I want angry fans to be like you. Giving up on a 5 years show you love after 9 eps....
any way I've said this about fringe and bones and im still watching :P

    ReplyDelete
  124. :D Then I hope you will like it again soon. But i dont think sam,s soul will be back any time soon.. good news is if we get a season 7 then no robosam ever again :S

And aout the lies.. its like that EVERY SEASON... did you complain in season 2-3-4-5? The show is the brother screwing up and then fix it so they are right again. and its robosam of course he lies. it's not like if our Sammy was lying to dean AGAIN and he didnt learn from before. (hhehe but im pretty sure he will lie about something once his back haha, thats just me though)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Well this seems like an interesting episode s'th we, unfortunately, barely see this season in my opinion. (don't salt & burn me plz). What worries me though is that after wrapping episode 12 which will be a flashback episode of the year the boys spent apart Jim Beaver tweeted :"hate to leave". Does that mean that in this episode in order for Sam to get what he wants he kills Bobby????

  126. Maybe when Bobby calls Sam an idget for thinking his blood would work in the spell, Sam will try to draw some blood from Grampa Creepy instead.

  127. No, it means he's just hating to leave Vancouver for a while and his friends behind.

  128. BWAH!!! Best reply of all. Grandpa Creepy is actually related to Sam so that has to be a better plan than using Bobby's blood. I love Bobby and his down-home ways.

  129. This episode looks like it will be great. As for Sam:
I'm starting to worry about what his ulterior motives might be:
For one, consider the fact that Sam, unlike Dean who has always been driven by a sense of heroism and duty and an even bigger sense of family, has always had motive and reason for "Hunting": Revenge, Redemption, Destiny... So I find it hard to believe that a Soulless Sam would be hunting and sticking around with Dean...Is needing to find out what happened the only thing driving him? Because it's the only thing he knows to do from his memories? What do you think? (Then again, it could just be lazy writing but that rarely happens on SPN).

Looking forward to this! Thanks for posting, as always.
