MEG’S BACK! — Meg (Rachel Miner) kidnaps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley (guest star Mark A. Sheppard) is hiding. Sam makes her a deal – they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam’s soul back. Castiel (Misha Collins) joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg.

Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brett Matthews with story by Brett Matthews & Jenny Klein.

  1. Hell yes! (no pun intended) Meg is always great and so is Rachel Miner. Meg and Cas working together should be both awkward and hilarious.

  2. I dunno...liked the old Meg better. But still sounds good. hope they show Cas alot in this one. his 5 minute appearences so far are kinda frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  3. This sounds very painful. Great to see Meg back .

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm glad to see they're bringing Rachel Miner back as Meg. I really loved her performance especially in "Abandon All Hope". Should be interesting to see how she and 'Clarence' (Castiel) get along in 6.10.

  5. My bubbly hopes that this will be about Sam's time in hell or what's just bursted.

Ah, but still, can't wait for this, as always :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Old Meg isn't an option so I'm perfectly happy with this. Also, now that Sam is without his soul, Meg may finally have a shot at getting him into bed after all these years. Lol. :-P

    ReplyDelete
  7. Funny, I was reading in Supernatural magazine only yesterday that Rachel Miner would definitely be back as Meg. Another demon I love to hate. Fantastic - I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  8. The show has its own magazine?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ohhhh WOW supernatural always surprise me...., far away from what ppl talking b4..., it say one of the brother will get hurt n need Dr. Robert Englun (hunter doc), i was hope this is about sam in the caged due the tittle.., well im wrong but still cant wait this epi :D

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh please - Bruce are you kidding me???? Of course it has its own magazine - what kind of fan ARE you? :P

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ugh this show pisses me off. They bring Meg back how many times and I can't even see my fave actress back once on this show after they killed her!!!!!!!! I just don't get it. Meg needs to go to hell and stay there. and they need to stop working w/ freakin demons.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Heh. The kind that doesn't care for fan mags, I guess. :-P

    ReplyDelete
  13. You don't know what you're missing! ;)

See I knew a whole day before anyone else that Meg was coming back.

And there's a very nice poster in the current issue of the boys in their FBI suits - but I'm not a fangirl so it doesn't interest me AT ALL. :P

    ReplyDelete
  14. OK...that's unexpected. I just hope she gets a better storyline than in 'Sympathy for the devil'. Don't really care that she's back. I loved the old Meg but was very disappointed when they just brought her back to kiss Dean and be a bridge for Castiel last season. Awesome scene, but characterwise disappointing. So let me guess, little Meg is still holding the torch for Lucifer and now wants revenge... *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, thanks to you I DO know what I'm missing. Alas, my position remains unchanged. Enjoy the poster you have absolutely no interest in. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  16. OMG you really wanna see that? Gross. *shudder* thank you, now I will be haunted by this picture of Meg 2.0/Sam for days...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ditto...That's just creepy. Besides, if anyone, then Sam should hook up with Lilith (In the dentist body). She's way hotter.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Whose your favorite actress? You can't be talking about Nicki since she was brought back in 4.02.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I never said anything about "want." I just think it's obvious that Meg has always had a thing for Sam and if she ever had a shot, it would be now. Personally, I think it would be hilarious just because of how Dean and Cas would react.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Lol. How is hooking up with Lilith less creepy than Meg? Either way, it's awful. If anything, Lilith is creepier. She spent her time inhabiting a little girl and torturing families.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's actually pretty awesome. I love the interviews with the directors. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  22. Meg and Cas!! That sounds pretty awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  23. So is someone here complaining that she kidnaps sam? AHAHAHHAHA :P just kidding guys.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's not obvious for me, I think one demon sex scene for Sam is enough. Please, even the stripper from 6.03 had a thing for Sam and I don't think they are bringing her back although that girl was smoking hot. In regarding to the Sam/Meg 2.0 scene, I think I would feel as dirty as Dean when Sam told him about his sexadventure with Ruby in season 5. Too much information, do not want.

    ReplyDelete
  25. why clarence? is there a joke im not in on :OOOOO

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nope ;D As long as she doesn't molest him, I'm cool with it. I thought she kidnaps both brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  27. IDK. My personal wish list for future/returning Sam sex partners would be 1. Dr. Cara Roberts 2. Madison (he could have sex with her ghost, would be a first ) 3. Bela (she went to hell, shouldn't she be a demon by now?) 4. The stripper (6.03) 5. A normal woman ( I know what a shocker, maybe an old College friend)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Meg called Castiel Clarence in 5.10

    ReplyDelete
  29. Heh. Not all fans are as squeamish as you, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  30. No, the magazine is about Supernatural since it's called 'Supernatural magazine'. I haven't read mine yet but I guess the spoiler about her return was in an interview with Rachel Miner in one with the writers. That's all. No Meg magazine!

    ReplyDelete
  31. No, no, no... I don't wanna hear that.... la la la la la la...I can't hear anything.

    ReplyDelete
  32. She does, as it clearly says

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not sqeamish, I'm picky and I don't find the idea of Meg 2.0 with Sam very sexy. E.g. In TRUE BLOOD I don't like Sookie/Bill sex scenes because I don't find them hot together, even though I know that the actors are a real couple, now give me any sex scene with Eric or Sookie's brother and I LOVE IT! Those abs *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  34. nice thanks. never got that joke haha

    ReplyDelete
  35. yeah *hides* it is... the "()" got me confused. doesnt take much you know

    ReplyDelete
  36. are you people really discussing the concepts of some demon porn movies starring sam? :s

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, you mean the 'she tries to force them' part, sorry, I interpreted that as TORTURE and not sex games. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  38. I knew a few weeks ago, thanks to an interview with Kripke. He also hinted that we'd see Death' again this season but there would be no return for Chuck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Robert Englund is in episode 11-'Appointment in Samarra' I believe, along with Sebastian Roche's Balthazar (according to IMBD)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Looks that way doesn't it? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I actually think they're going with the Meg/Cas angle now.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I believe Sam has a sex scene coming up sometime before episode 10-according to Jared anyway. The interview he mentioned it in happened while they were filming episode 9 I think so that's most likely the episode we'll see it in and therefore it wont be Meg.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No, I wasn't talking about Nicki, and I wasn't talking about Meg either. I wanted Lauren back as Bela, and i know that EVERYONE will disagree w/ me which is why i didn't say who it was. Oh well, I get to see Lauren on Vampire Diaries so I guess its okay. I'm just disappointed really.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh god, I forgot a spoiler about Cas gettin some action..I agree, please don't let it be Meg. Ugh.
In all seriousness, I hope not...I mean and Angel and a Demon, wow. That'd be awful, besides Cas could do so much better than Meg and the body that Meg is in.

    ReplyDelete
  45. :'( i want ruby back in gen's body !!!! i missed ruby so much !!! the best spn girl !! loge ya Genny ! <3

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah that's the interview I was quoting from. I only got the issue this week - it takes a while to get to me here in NZ.
Can't say I'm sorry Chuck won't be back - I don't think he could have added much to this season IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  47. oops! sorry yeah I meant the kidnapping part! My bad, didn't make myself clear.

    ReplyDelete
  48. IMO nothing beats Nicki Aycox as Meg Masters (I love her even more than Azazel...) but it's good to see any version of Meg back in town. The only problem I have with this synopsis is if Crowley really is the King of Hell, how the hell does Meg think she is gonna lay a hand on him? I guess this points to the possibility that Crowley is (as always) full of sh*t and is really just milking the situation for all it's worth...But IDK yet. We will see....

    ReplyDelete
  49. ohhh ok so they exchange the epi...?, i was read spoiler Dr. Englund became guest star in epi 10...,
n thank for telling me :))

Do u know who between the brother will get hurt? base on photos, dean walk with tessa so i assume it must be dean.., i was think its sam because we already dean in this situation...,

    ReplyDelete
  50. No one is saying it would be (or should be) sexy. The whole point could be to show how creepy and wrong it is and how lost Sam is without his soul.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh, this is good, I knew crowley wasn't the big evil. To weak compared to lucifer and michsel

    ReplyDelete
  52. That seems at least a bit unlikely after reading the synopsis. Also seemingly improbable just based on the nature of Castiel as a character in general. I'll tip my hat to you if I'm wrong but I just don't see it happening.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, there's just something wrong with a little girl torturing families..lol

    ReplyDelete
  54. Stripper? I thought she was a prostitute...

    ReplyDelete
  55. I wonder if his time in Hell was worse than Deans??

    ReplyDelete
  56. Pretty much all of what's in the magazine is written on this web site. Interviews with the cast and crew, fan letters, spoilers, and even a cool poster LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Wrongs with a bit of molestation? ; )

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yes. She was absolutely a professional, right down to the money exchange.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Stupid question but who is Meg again? : (

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well, to be fair, even Azazel and Lilith are too weak compared to Lucifer and Michael.

I was hoping that Meg would have been apart of Crowley's plan, as it would have made sense with Meg's storyline so far, and it is one word: survival.

Meg lost her brother and decided to be against Azazel's "master" plan, and then she became a servant to Lucifer and it would have made sense for her to walk away from Lucifer's plan because it would be very reminiscent for season one Meg and then she works for Crowley until something goes awry which will make Meg flee once more.

But now, Meg is going after Crowley, which is probably because he teamed up against Sam and Dean and "betrayed" the demons and Lucifer. If this is true, I would like some answer as to why Meg didn't keep pursuing Azazel's plan, but yet she joined up with Lucifer.

And, so this is the episode where Castiel kisses someone? Because I'm thinking we'll see a Cas/Meg situation in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Lol, Meg was Azazel's daughter that was in season one, one episode of season two and two episodes last season.

    The female angel was Anna.

    ReplyDelete
  62. No idea, I assumed it was Dean too because we saw the pics of him talking to Tessa but who knows?!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thanks. It's been a while since I've seen those episodes and I've only seen them once, don't have the DVDs....yet!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Bruce there have been 20 issues since the magazine first came in the second season. It is all SN, interviews with the boys, the behind the scenes stuff, background on the various monsters the boys have hunted. The guest stars that have been on the show. Plus the posters and other fun things. It has been a good magazine. Similar to the ones put out for Buffy, Star Trek, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  65. "yet" hell yeah talking like a true fan :DD

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think it is dean, because robert e. said in an interview, that he did work with jensen and did not see jared. I hoped too...

    ReplyDelete
  67. They can't bring everyone back now, can they? :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well, it is just a small synopsis and not what the entire episode is about. I'm definitely curious on what kind of goodies this one is going to bring us that's for sure. ;D *coughs*Samsex*coughs* *coughs*Meg/Cas*cough* Maybe that is why he finds it "difficult" to work with her...ahem... ;D Sorry. xD I just love the suggestive scene in Abandon All Hope between Meg and Cas. Also, I love Rachel Miner! I think she's a hell of an actress and can really portray Meg well. She's sexy and sinister both. I'm so excited for this ep!!! *squeeeeee*

    ReplyDelete
  69. oh yeah completely forgot about that, sounds like (based on what we know so far-Dean seen with Tessa and Dr Roberts) that 11-'Appointment In Samarra' is Dean centric?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lol! This discussion had turned into the probability of Meg/Sam or Meg/Cas. Why can't we all get along & agree that either or both Sam & Dean had an accident and accidentally kissed Cas? :-D

    ReplyDelete
  71. I was hoping this whole working with Crowley thing wasn't going to last long.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Dr. E did work with jensen/dean? so mean dean not hurt/dying (if he can do job with the Dr.E) maybe no one hurt in this epi, just made them self unconscious (between life/dead) like in "death take a holiday" with some spell so they can see reaper!, maybe Dr.E help dean to do that (because pamela already dead).., sorry for my bad english i hope u understand :P
so he also say he not see jared? did jared play in this epi? ooohhh LoL sorry im so silly O_o

    ReplyDelete
  73. yeah i think so this is must be dean centric..., but airbat said Dr.E did not see jared, i just hope he play in this epi, i cant watch spn without the 2 brother..., O_o

    ReplyDelete
  74. Well...she is Azazel's daughter. I wonder if that has any significance?

    ReplyDelete
  75. This is always a possibility. Perhaps behind the scenes she is working for Crowley, but pretending she's not? Maybe Crowley is the one who got Meg to capture the boys and so Meg is just 'acting' since demons are manipulative like that?

    ReplyDelete
  76. I am sure Jared will be in the episode, don´t worry.

There´s also the possibility that Robert E. delibaretly tried to mislead? It´s known to be done by Kripke. We´ll just have to wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Oh... I really-really hope the 'Cas kissing some chick' spoiler (which I still don't know whether it's true or not), is NOT about this episode.

Casuse that would be... no! Just no! No-no-no-no-no-no!
Otherwise the episode sounds great :D

    ReplyDelete
  78. I prefered the other Meg, too. But, we will find out more answers about Sam in the episode, so that is a good thing. I guess it could be a hard episode to get through if Sam is actually tortured in a violent way. We certainly don't have all the answers now, but we are getting closer to finding out everything, just in bits and pieces.
I get the Supernatural magazine, too, and I love it! It is a rather expensive mag to subscribe to or buy on the newsstand, but for the summer months it makes for some pretty good reading. I recommend it highly.
    Can't wait for tonight's episode!

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'm not exciting about this, this Meg sucks...I prefer the older one, but I know she can't...pitty...By the other hand, I hope we discovered something new about Sam's soul

    ReplyDelete
  80. I really hope this isnt the episode where Cas is supposed to get lucky :( It hurtd my stomach to think of him kissing Meg. And now just cause I'm a Dean/Cas girl, but because I do not want him making out with a freaking demon!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yep, there are worse things to discuss ;D

    ReplyDelete
  82. OMG I'm sorry, I think I might have confussed Sam with the actual prostitute.

    ReplyDelete
  83. You're my new favorite person, can I hug you? ;D

    ReplyDelete
  84. *puppy eyes death glare* don't speak of such awful things!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Nothing. It just depends on who is molesting whom. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  86. I see. Lauren was great, it's just a pity that the writers didn't do a better job with her character. But you never know, now that hell got a new boss, maybe we will see demon!Bela. Or since this season is about Sam's missing soul, maybe the boys have to go into hell to get it back and we see Bela again. I don't know I'm not that impressed with Lauren's character on TVD, I think the writers wrote her too one-dimential and I hate her hair. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  87. creepy wrong demon sex...how lost Sam is without his soul..mmh..if you replace soul with brother, that's Ruby/Sam. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  88. That's debatable. Well, Dean's time in hell was much longer (what, 40days/years or so?) but although Sam was in shorter, he was in cage with the Mr. Evil Origin himself AND with Michael.
