If it seems like the strained relationship between the Winchester brothers on "Supernatural" is improving, don't get too comfortable. Despite the old-school "beers on the hood of the Impala" scene in the most recent episode, all is not well between Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles).
Read no further if you don't want to know the details!
In the upcoming episode "Caged Heat," Sam, Dean, and Castiel (Misha Collins) team up with Meg (Rachel Miner) to try to get Sam's soul back from Crowley. Spoiler alert: it doesn't work.
Dean doesn't want to give up, though -- and he's about to make a deal with someone much more powerful, and more dangerous, than Meg. In "Appointment in Samarra," Dean goes looking for one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse: Death himself, who met Dean at a pizza joint last season to help him conquer Lucifer. Death (returning guest star Julian Richings) offers to help, but he's looking for a day off. He tells Dean that he'll help return Sam's soul if Dean spends a day working as Death.
Where's Sam while all of this is going down? Unsurprisingly, Sam has been lying to Dean about wanting his soul back at all. He decides he's not interested in what having a soul entails - namely, human suffering, empathy, and heartbreak - and while Dean is making an extraordinary sacrifice, Sam seeks out Balthazar (Sebastian Roche).
Balthazar knows a spell to keep Sam's soul permanently out of his body, but it requires the blood of Sam's father. Since John Winchester is long dead -- and his body was burned on a pyre -- Sam decides that Bobby (Jim Beaver) is the next best option.
The title of the episode references an old folktale, in which a merchant in Baghdad tells his servant to go to the market and pick up supplies. When the servant returns, he's shaken, and tells the merchant that in the marketplace, Death bumped into him and made a threatening gesture. Terrified, the servant decides to flee Baghdad, and he borrows the merchant's horse to rush to Samarra, where he believes Death won't find him.
Meanwhile, the merchant goes to the marketplace to speak to Death and asks why she threatened the servant. She tells him, "I wasn't threatened. I was simply surprised to see him in Baghdad, as I have an appointment with him tonight in Samarra."
What do you think, "Supernatural" fans? Is Dean making a bad call with this Deal? Will he be able to handle playing Death for a day, if he's doing it for Sam? Meanwhile, just how much of Bobby's blood is needed for this shady spell of Sam's -- will Bobby survive the drain? Can Sam trust Balthazar's instructions?
And, perhaps most importantly, what will happen when Dean finds out what Sam's been up to, and vice-versa?

Looks like the s**t is about to hit the fan folks.
ReplyDeleteDon't see how Bobby's blood could work at all as he's not actually Sam's father.
If they kill Bobby I will shoot somebody >:(
lol why would they kill Bobby... he is in eps 12 so nothing happens... it's sad it's gonna get to this but it has to hit rock bottom before it gets better and that's what they've said the whole time is gonna happen... so this isn't surprising... sad but we all saw it coming :(
ReplyDeleteJust... How many times they'll hit the bottom? Because they're saying this since season 4 and the brothers relationship always gets worse once again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting.Certainly a rollercoaster we are on with the two brothers.
ReplyDeleteepisode 12 is said to be a flashback to the year Dean and Sam spent apart. That means that even if they kill Bobby in 'Appointment in Samarra' Jim Beaver will still be in the 12th episode. Rumors are flying around in the CW forum since last week that Bobby gets killed off. But who know?
ReplyDeleteThis is all incredibly sad, quite honestly but understandable as well. I mean who does want human suffering, heartbreak and empathy? It's one of the worst things in the world to feel. When somebody dies that's close you you really feel that heartbreak and it hurts and you suffer because of it. I mean wouldn't life be better if we could go on not feeling those things? Sam's gone without those things now for well over a year and a half now. Who knows what it was like when he first came back, but having all of his memories from those past experiences but being void of the intense emotion and pain that accompanies them? Well who can say they blame him, truthfully. I know I'd love to get rid of feeling like that. Maybe that's just me though. HOWEVER, I do want our Sammy back. I want his soul put back rightfully where it belongs. I wonder what Death's job actually is? I mean I imagine he doesn't just go around reaping people as he has workers (Tessa) who does that for him, so what would Death's real job be? I wonder how this is going to work because I imagine Dean will find out what Sam's up to once he does become Death for the day and I'm going to assume he stops him in some way. As for Bobby? Sam's smarter than that and he should know better considering Bobby isn't his blood or his real blood father either, so why would Bobby be his next choice? Why not Grandpa? Unless of course Grandpa dies or something, then he's screwed but still... All of this is so choppy and it still just does not add up at all. I wonder if Sam and Dean are going to be in the positions of the servant and Death though, I just have to wonder...probably not, but oh well. I'm seriously looking forward to these eps. I can't wait to see what they bring us. Totally NOT looking forward to the hellatus though!
ReplyDeleteit will probably go like this till the end of the season. I don't see how they can grow closer at this point.
ReplyDeleteHow can you expect it to get better while Sam remains soulless? It can't.
ReplyDeleteI don't. That's why I want Sam's soul back to they begin build they relationship again. I just don't want to wait anymore, it's getting tiring.
ReplyDeleteI somehow doubt that. Bobby's a pretty crucial character to that show and has been with them for so long now, he's like Sam and Dean. I don't see them permanently killing him off and getting rid of Jim Beaver. I think that would be a REALLY stupid move on their part. They'd definitely end up losing a lot of fanbase then.
ReplyDeleteGod. I hope not.
ReplyDeleteActually no. According to both Jared and Jensen (who have stated numerous times now) things WILL be getting better between Sam and Dean this season and I have learned that you should trust them when they say something, especially when it's repeated. I trust both Jared and Jensen and I believe them more than anything at this point.
ReplyDeleteIt will. You've just got to have to patience and sit back for the ride.
ReplyDeleteWhen did they say that? Because the last thing we head from them they were a bit upset with the lack of the brothers relationship as well. I remember they saying that things would get better, but I saw this more as a wish (like we have) than as a spoiler.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right. But with no soul and Sam not wanting to get it back it will be hard for them to try and work things out.
ReplyDeleteI know. It's just my patience running out, it's all.
ReplyDeleteYeah I know - I'm just so caught up in the whole story. :P
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what they've got for us.......I love how they're keeping us guessing.......that's great writing......
and they would totally kill Bobby.....cos that's SPN for you......but I still don't want them to.
I'd like to see Meg, then Crowley bite it in a truly nasty, gory fashion - with lots of suffering, screaming and blood - lots of blood.
Followed by Grandpa Creepy, Christian (demon or not) then Gwen. In that order.
Then after that, it might be nice to get Sam's soul back. :)
They have said it quite a few times now in conventions and no, it wasn't a wish or a hopeful thing it was a straight-forward "things will get better" and I believe them. I trust them. I never heard that they were upset with the lack of relationship. In fact, Jared's been super excited with where his character has been going this season. Jensen was the one who stated "Please give Sam his soul back" playfully at a convention. There has been nothing about these boys being upset, so I don't know where you heard that either.
ReplyDeleteI agree they'd be foolish to kill Bobby permanently. However, they did it to John and there are STILL people complaining about that. :)
ReplyDelete(I for one was glad to see the back of John - but that's just my opinion)
Yes it would and yes they did kill off John, but he wasn't as crucial to the show as Bobby is right now. Bobby has been in the show since Season 1. John on the other hand hasn't. Not only that but Jeffery Dean Morgan had other commitments (he's a big movie star now) where as Jim's are a bit different from Jeff's. Bobby is probably more loved than John by the fandom. I'm thinking there would be a huge uproar if they were to kill off Bobby Singer quite honestly. It'd be a huge mistake on their part.
ReplyDeleteThough things do seem bleak, I think this episode will end on a hopeful note which is Sera Gamble said it will before the mid-season break. I think Soulless Sam will have second thoughts about what he is doing or the spell he is trying to work on his soul goes terribly awry.
ReplyDeleteLOL I said I agreed - I'm not arguing with you......
ReplyDeleteI did say I'd shoot somebody if they killed Bobby - of course he's more loved than John (I'm one of his biggest fans)
I never said you were. o.O I wasn't trying to argue either...
ReplyDeleteI was just posting my opinion in regards to Bobby and John. Killing off John was one thing and not as huge as it would be if killing off Bobby after 6 seasons. I'm just saying a lot of fans would be devastated and would probably stop watching. If fans are stopping watching over something like Sam being soulless right now? Imagine what's going to happen if they kill off Bobby and especially it ends up being Sam's fault if they WERE to kill off Bobby. That's all. Not arguing. Just chatting.
If sam was really serious about getting his soul back, he just need to juice up a bit and ask crowley nicely, if not, torture him.
ReplyDeleteI mean, sam overwhelmed lucifer (the god of the demon) in his own body and ripped lilith (the first deamon) appart so crowley the king of hell should be easy.
I don't think it was very playfully.
ReplyDeleteI read about Jared and Jensen being upset in that autographs hunter Canadagraphs twitter. He met the guys and they said that they're not very happy with this storyline. I agree with you that Jared was enthusiastic before. But maybe, like us, he got a bit tired and want Sam's soul back, like Jensen.
lol You're going to believe a somewhat psycho dude who sits around and waits and bombards actors at airports and doesn't like Jared so he'll say and do what he can to put Jared in a bad light? Seriously? You have to take what that guy says with a grain of salt. I can't believe you'd actually believe what that creepy toad says over what the boys have actually said QUITE A FEW TIMES now. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat? I think you're confusing the hounds. Canadagraphs was always, always respectful with both of them. he doesn't hate Jared nor Jensen.
ReplyDeleteI believe him, yes. He didn't lie about anything that I'm aware of. And it's not a bad thing that they want the brothers relationship back, is it? It just show us that they're as invested in these characters as much as we do.
No it's not a bad thing and no, I'm definitely not confusing them. I know the name Canadagraphs. You need to take everything that man says with a grain of salt.
ReplyDeleteWhat bothers me is how both Jared and Jensen have SAID not WISHED that things WILL get better between Sam and Dean. It wasn't a wish, it wasn't a hope when they said it. It was matter-of-fact. I believe the boys and their own personal words over some random fan any day. Sorry.
Well, Sera's stated a couple of times now that this episode ends on a hopeful note. Just stay positive about it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's just it. Sam isn't serious about getting his soul back. I posted above why and why I don't blame him. I also don't think Crowley is the one with his soul either. I think there's more to this.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was wrong. It just got a whole lot worse for Dean and Sam. In my opinion, striking a deal with death is a bad idea. I mean, when has a deal ever been good on this show?
ReplyDeleteAlso, does anyone else think that Balthazar is working with Crowley? It just seems like the ultimate pairing, rogue angel and rogue demon. Wow, that sounds a lot like Good Omens, especially "Crowley"...
Can you tell me what he said that it was a lie, then, please? Or are just upset because he said once that Jared refused to sign for him a few times? So what if Jared refused? CG never blamed him, far from it. He was very respectful about the issue.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you're confusing what I said.
CG never said they told him that things won't get better. He said that Jensen and Jared aren't too happy with how things were at the time. Look:
canadagraphs: Had a chance to talk with J2 tonight & they both seem (Jared moreso) as unimpressed as the fans are about the Sam storyline.
canadagraphs: @DudeUfuglySPN Jared seemed as frustrated with it as we do. If he had any clue, he didnt let on.
Absolutely. Crowley has only gotten this far by being a liar. I don't think he'll change his nature anytime soon. It'd be cool if Death was the one with Sam's soul. Then his deal with Dean would be a lot more sinister.
ReplyDeletefans need to stick with the show no matter what... these actors work very hard for us and it saddens me to see all of this negative stuff... Bobby is not being killed off... he is in eps 12 and there has been no mention of it being a flashback eps... that is just a rumor... There relationship has been up and down since the beginning... they have there good times and bad just like any other sibling relationship... as far and Jared and Jensen being upset about how their characters are... I just think it's different for them... it takes some time to get use too... I highly doubt they are both upset and if they were... don't you think Sera would change the storyline in a sec? she sure would... she is not going to risk losing them... and plus they already signed for a season 7 if there is one... so they can't be that upset... fans need to have faith... change is not a bad thing- you just have to look at it from another point of view and go with the flow... I personally love a soulless Sam... funny as hell... and I like the new dynamic and character development... there not gonna have them stay like this the whole season.. Sam's soul is not the main focus of the season... it's the Alpha's... HAVE FAITH!
ReplyDeleteI know what he said... it doesn't change anything- I'm sure actors get upset with how their characters are being portrayed at times... it doesn't make me upset or anything... I am not confusing what you are saying and I wasn't saying anything to you directly I was saying things in general... I'm not gonna argue in a discussion board... I just post what I think.
ReplyDeleteThey never said they're upset at the point to leave. I'm sure they will never do that. But they're allowed to react to what's done to their characters. And I find it great that they care. But it seems that's just me.
ReplyDeleteCharacter development... *chuckles* Ok, if you want to call it this way....
Sera won't change her plans for anything, though. And "have faith"...... I'm working on it, but it's hard after being lied to so many times.
lol why do you have to respond to everyone in a negative way? your like attacking people's comments... we come to post our thoughts not be attacked
ReplyDeleteBaw, but I'm liking Gwen. ; 3;
ReplyDeleteMy first reply was about the rock bottom. After that, the CG thing and all.. I wasn't arguing with you nor Kyelinn. Just posting what I think/believe/heard.
ReplyDeleteOoops, I didn't make myself very clear in my statement. I'm not sure if you think that I'm being negative, but what I meant was their fictional crappy lives right now. I was not talking about the actors. :)
ReplyDeleteDespite your misunderstanding of my statement, I agree whole-heartedly. There has been way too much negativity about events that have not happened and probably never will. It makes me sad to see all the negativity. :( But I have faith, as you say!
it wasn't directed towards anyone! i was just reviewing it as a whole... not any one person... :)
ReplyDeleteand sorry if i misunderstood i was just kinda going off on a rant lol... i am very passionate about this show :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not attacking. Just saying what I think. Do you allow me to?
ReplyDeleteAnd, as the person who brought the "upset" thing here I felt it was my obligation to clear it up that the boys never meant they would live.
you can do whatever you want... I am done posting comments... this is why I don't
ReplyDeleteNah, it's okay. If there is anything I understand, it's passion. :)
ReplyDeleteLol - you're allowed to like Gwen - hell everyone's entitled to have someone like them - even Gwen :P
ReplyDeleteI mean I did put her last on the death wishlist......
And she was slightly more likeable in Family Matters.....
I like this theory - Balthazar gave me the creeps so I'm willing to believe he's capable of anything.......and what he said to Cas about tearing up the script? Hmmmm............
ReplyDeleteThey said that in an interview done while they were filming episode 8-All Dogs Go To Heaven, they probably wouldn't have even gotten the scripts for anything beyond 10? at that time and we know their relationship is not better in 10 or 11 well according to spoilers anyway. I think they were stating their want for things to get better between San and Dean more than actually knowing it will. On the other hand they could have been referring to this new relationship between Dean and NotSam that we saw in 'Clap Your Hands' much like Sera Gamble was referring to in her interview with EW? last week. Personally I don't see things getting better between them until Sam gets his soul back, there cant be a bond/relationship between them while he is soulless.
ReplyDeleteHaha just re-read that - only on SPN could you talk about 'killing someone permanently' :D
ReplyDeletehehe, yes. I have a feeling that the more we see of her, the more people will come to like her.
ReplyDeleteThough.. her being a female, I do worry about her fate. ; 3;
Yeah she doesn't stand a chance - whether she's on jillyanne's death wishlist or not :P
ReplyDeleteAlmost feel sorry for her myself. ;)
I have a bad feeling about this. I don't know why, I just do. I really, really want them to stop stretching out the 'Sam has no soul arc'. I love what they've been doing with soulless Sam but there's only so long I can wait. Just give him back his soul already and let's move on with the story!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a hoot!
ReplyDeleteI was never once suggesting that their relationship as brothers WOULD get better before Sam got his soul back. I'm meaning that I believe that things will get better this season, thus I strongly believe that soon after the hiatus if not directly after, Sam will be getting his soul back and we're going to see their bond start to grow again. I'm the one remaining positive here while watching all of this negativity float around more than anything.
ReplyDeleteI can't see how Bobby's blood would work in any spell either. And If Balthazar says he needs the blood of his father, Samuel wouldn't work since he is on the Campbell side, not the Winchester. The only living person with John Winchester's blood (besides Sam) is Dean. I love that he is going to be Death for a day. He's one of the few people that could be entrusted with that job despite how difficult it may be.
ReplyDeleteHey, Jilly-- I'm finally on facebook! How do I find you?
And what story is that? Face it, this season has no plot other than a little demon, compared to Lucifer, trying to get Purgatory :S
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying that the show will never kill Bobby permanently, BUT if Sam kills him I don't think there would be any coming back from that fro the character. Bobby is pretty well loved. If Sam kills him, even while soulless it would make Sam unredeemable. If he doesn't get his soul back then he remains the uncaring being that he is currently. If he gets his soul back after killing Bobby, the real Sam would never be able to live with himself and I don't think Dean could ever look at Sam the same way again. So I highly doubt that Sam will kill Bobby in this episode.
ReplyDeleteAside from Crowley, there's also Castiel's civil war and the whole question of what's going on with the monsters and their alphas. While I agree that the storylines are nowhere near the sweeping mytharc of season 5 when we were dealing with the apocalypse, I also believe that attempting to top the Apocalypse would have been foolish and probably impossible anyway. It's nice to see the story heading back to its roots w.r.t. the monsters and such, now I'd just like to see it heading back to its roots w.r.t. the boys relationship. :)
ReplyDeleteWell if he gets his soul it will be better....
ReplyDeleteHappy Ending = Sam Soul?
ReplyDeleteI dont think the second part of the season will have robosam ? ... AW I'm tired of reading your comments guys, it's depressing to hear all the bitching :(
ps bad day
Hey Sue - I think you're right - Dean will make an awesome Death (long as it is only for one day)
ReplyDeleteGreat that you're on fb at last :)
Search for Jillyanne Winchester *whispers* but don't tell anyone I'm related to Sam and Dean - they might come after me. ;)
Looking forward to being fb friends with you :)
Sorry you're having a bad day :(
ReplyDeleteI promise I won't bitch at you........
Remember what Dean said waaaay back in The Monster at the End of This Book?
'For fans they sure do complain a lot' - that always makes me smile :)
Don't forget the alphas. They seem just as powerful as Lucifer. As far as we know there is no possible way to kill them .Lucifer you could kill. Also, Lucifer wasn't exactly super evil genuis last year. His plan was stupid(lets try to kill small towns). Not to say that I didn't like season 5. But this time the vilains seem better.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your bad day. :(
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel better I really like where their going with this...? I think you're right, Episode 11 is a good time to get Sam's soul back. It'll be all back to normal then. :)
I don't think they will kill off Bobby in this episode and I really don't see them having Bobby die at Sam's hand either. You are right that it would be too hard to redeem Sam's character after that. Plus, I think Bobby's safe until they need to do something spectacular for the ratings or Jim Beaver takes a permanent job elsewhere. I'd guess it will be the latter. I'm not confident in much in the SPN world, but I am confident that Bobby makes it through this alive. They wouldn't be handing out spoilers like this if he didn't.
ReplyDeleteScandal! I count on you to be as bloodthirsty as I am about the CSK and Grandpa Creepy! :-P
ReplyDeleteI think he will not like the job once he takes it. More importantly, I'm not sure I would trust Death to come back. It has to suck doing the same job for millenia. If he pulled a Crowley, Dean could be stuck for good. Still, we get to see Tessa and I really like her.
ReplyDeleteIt makes a lot of sense for Balthy to be working WITH Crowley, getting souls and selling them to him. He said they were worth a lot. He's obviously not working FOR Crowley in that we have no evidence that Crowley has the angel weapons. Could you imagine that chaos? Crowley would be hard to stop. Maybe Balthy has a weapon they can use to get Sam's soul back and this is the happy note Sera Gamble was talking about.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad this season is not as sweeping and grandiose as the Apocalypse. Season 5 episodes couldn't match the weight of the Apocalypse and we got a tense conflict without the tension. It's the reason why season 5 is my least favorite season. Not until the last 2 episodes did it feel like the show was taking the Apocalypse seriously, minus a couple scattered episodes in the middle to remind that the Apocalypse was even going on. I feel this season's mytharc is doing a much better job at ratcheting the tension, even if the storyline is smaller in scope.
ReplyDeleteNo way Sam gets his soul back before the hiatus. Supernatural never lets us rest easy during the mini-hellatus. My bet is the second or third episode back from the hiatus.
ReplyDeleteI think Dean needs to remind Sam of some of the good things about having a soul, instead of so much it's pain and suffering, what about love for example.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for these next eps. But Im so scared and I just want Sam's soul back. Before their relationship is even more strained. I can't take anymore lol
I feel that way a lot to...
ReplyDeleteLol - notice I said 'almost'. And just because she was 'slightly more likeable in Family Matters' doesn't for one minute exempt her from a bloody and horrific death....... Honest ;) I wouldn't wimp out on you Dahne :P
ReplyDeleteSorry about your bad day, Chanelle...I had probably one of the worst days ever but it's slowly turning around...Partially due to your hysterically spot-on "I I'm tired of reading your comments guys, it's depressing to hear all the bitching :( "
ReplyDeleteI think you just made me fall out of my chair.
I'll take whatever the writers throw at us as long as in the end Sam gets his soul back. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.
ReplyDeleteWhat's bothering me though is that ever since Dean learned what was wrong with his brother, Sam went from being a cold manipulating a**hole to... well, this. How convenient !
I mean for example, however dangerous his plan to infiltrate the nest in Live Free Or Twilight was, you can't deny that it was very clever. But now it's like "Bobby's blood ? He's not my father, but I guess that'll work.". Seriously ? Did he sustain some kind of brain injury when Dean beat the crap out of him ?
That's what disappoints me the most about this season. I don't mind at all that Sam has no soul, but the writers need to stop using his brain like a light switch just to make him do whatever they need him to do, because that's just not coherent.
Hope your day got better. :)
ReplyDeleteThey seriously better not kill Bobby or I WILL STAB someone.
ReplyDeleteSam can't be that stupid to use Bobby's blood?!?! Which part of father did he not understand?!?! I'm sure spells are pretty specific so when they say father, THEY MEAN FATHER.
I really hope that we are not going to see another fight scene between them but looking at where this is going, there probably is going to be one :(
Damn it.... I just remembered that Appointment in Samarra is going to be the last episode before the break... :'( I really hope Sera was telling the truth when she said that this episode is going to end on a good note...
Really, the way everybody is selling Sam how much he will suffer, when getting his soul back, who wonders, he doesn´t want it.
ReplyDeleteHe sees Dean suffer throughout the day. So I can´t really blame him. Nobody told him anything positiv about having a soul. He just sees, that he is a better hunter now and for him, beeing soulless, "worked" for a whole year. Hell, if I could get rid of some suffering, I would be right behind Sam on making a deal with Balthazar :)
And I don´t think they would kill off Bobby, they can´t, I won´t let them...
Amen, to that. Nothing to add...
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. In the last episode Dean basically told Sam that he'll suffer if he has a soul. And he really didn't do a good job of telling him the perks of having one. Sam's just too cold to understand the perks anyways.
ReplyDeleteI doubt they will kill Bobby. Besides, I'd almost like to see Sam try. Imagine this: Sam walks in at Bobby's. Bobby offers him a beer. Sam takes it thinking to kill Bobby over it. But bobby's put knockout stuff in the drink, and Sam falls unconcious.
I KNOW! I LOVED it :DDD see? I'm smiling hehe.
ReplyDeleteAnd in the season 5 finale... AW perfect lol, "the fans are always gonna bitch, there is always gonna be holes" :DDD
HAHHAA LOL, nice to know I helped a little lol.
ReplyDeleteBTW thanks every one lol. My day was awesome today ehheeh. Talked to my ex step mom 1 time in 4 years HAPPY HAPPY ME :D
Any way now all I need is a superntarual SOON!
Well maybe it will end in a way that we know he has his soul in the 12th ep.
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt mind to go ALL season without the soul and only get it back at the finale hehehe, but I want more fans to be happy like me with this AWESOME season YES AWESOME. :D
:D Yeah Dean isn't really selling the whole soulThing hahaha.
ReplyDeleteRight! Bobby is no fool or otherwise he wouldn´t be this old a hunter. He was always prepared. It could go down like you said.
ReplyDeleteBut I would wish for Sam to not even try. Dean´s already Bobby´s favorite. Sam attacking Bobby is not pushing him higher on Bobby´s "I like"-list.
OMG, i need to see the next two episodes. I'm worried about sam. He doesn't had any feelings but he need to think about how worried is dean, he can't do that he's his brother. And he better don't touch bobby. I hope nothing bad happen to dean for making that deal
ReplyDeleteBTW THIS SEASON ROCKS
ReplyDeletePlease continue to post. I for one like to hear what other people think and SpoilerTV is usually a safe place to share your opinion. We just need everyone to take a deep breath and realize that giving an opinion does not equal attacking a person. We are all entitled to what we think.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Balthy has an idea where it is and the truth behind Crowley's claim. That would end on a hopeful note like Gamble said and still keep us on tenterhooks over the winter hiatus like they always do. My guess is we get a clue as to how they can get Sam's soul back but that it is not an easy task and will take at least 2 episodes to actually do it.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I too am loving this season. It's such a refreshing change from last year's non-movement and season's 4 all angst all the time. Not that there weren't parts of 5 I liked. Also, season 4 is one of my favorites. It's just nice that one of the brothers isn't carrying the baggage of the last couple of seasons.
Or is Sam attacking Bobby BECAUSE of the "I like" list? Dun dun dun! Bet you wish you didn't tell Dean that now, eh, Bobby? Eh?!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I'm kidding. :)
Well we know Sam is showing signs of not wanting his soul back just by his looks and his questions. Having a soul=suffering. Who would want there soul back when it is being explained in that fashion. He knew his life was hard before but it seems he will possibly have to be tricked into getting his soul back. Maybe meeting up with Balthy and getting this spell will not end up with the end result Sam thinks he is going to get. Nothing is as it seems. Sam getting his soul back is going to become very interesting. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes and waiting for old Sammy to come back to us.
ReplyDeletei totally don't want my soul back, if that make me suffer.., :P i already predict this when i saw epi 9 sneak peek..., i believe that conversation n how dean pissed all the time will make sam change his mind abt getting his soul back :P
ReplyDeletethis is saturday yet? damn im dying to wait next saturday..., :(
I want to know what's in it for Balthazar to help Sam. Maybe Sam promised Balthazar he could keep his soul and sell it on the black market?
ReplyDeleteThe you know what is going to hit the fan if Sam goes through with his spell!
ReplyDeleteThis won't be the first time that Sam has hurt Bobby...remember when he knocked him out after freeing himself from the panic room?
Poor Bobby, poor Dean...Bad Sam!
Why doesn't Sam just tell Dean he doesn't want his soul back. Yeah, Dean will bitch and moan...but at least there won't be any secrets!
Which episode is the one where the hunter doctor helps the boys out? I am so confused! I read a blurb in TV Guide that stated that Sera Gamble said that not everything is doom and gloom and she revealed that the second half of the season will reveal what Grandpa's plan really is, too. Looking forward to a new episode this week. Missed last week's because I was away, so it was a good thing that it was a repeat (even though I would have liked to have seen the season premiere again). I think Bobby will be fine (hope so anyway). I do think the boys will be upset with each other once again once they find out what the other has been up to. I don't think Dean can face being Death for a day, but if he asked Sam, he would probably enjoy it since he has no soul now. I am so ready for Sam to get his soul back! I wonder what will happen when he does? What will he be like and what will Dean be willing to do to get his brother back on track and stay that way? I think the second half of the season will be a real eye-opener and we will get our Sam back, eventually, slowly but surely.
ReplyDeleteSo if Dean is going to be Death for a day, is it possible that he could kill himself and just come right back? Maybe the point is moot.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Crowley? He would have the power to kill Crowley. He could threaten him into giving Sam his soul back. But given Dean's track record, who knows if he could go through with it? It's a very twisty situation.
On the other hand, this would make Dean's hunting so very easy. Then again, who is to say Dean can go through with it. He has this power and maybe it becomes an obsession. Storylines abound from that.
Tensions could be high if something like Dean is willing to reap his brother in order to find Purgatory, if that indeed where Sam's soul is. Bringing him back is another story. Sooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to go ballistic waiting. Love this twist, LOVE IT
Love it or hate it, this season sure is keeping us guessing. Me, I'm loving it :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear Dean say "I Am Become Death." :)
