Okay why the fuck was this promo… weird like that.. you know what I mean right?... weird… any way. I know the ep sounds great from … stuff I know but bad bad promo.
Okay ahaha SO AWESOME! Loved SAM gosh I love him so much. Dean had some weird little moments... I'm just gonna ignor it. Only real bad thing is... the promo. But Cas is there so its all good. Did it say in two weeks? I know it is but... a girl can hope
I picked OK. I might change my mind later, but this episode was so weird to me. I loved the comedy, and I loved Sam's new ability to turn anything into a hilarious situation cause he just doesn't care, but does anyone else smell a shitty plot storm? I mean, Fairies, from another dimension? This random woman in town knows EVERYTHING about them? A Leprechaun can get into Lucifer's cage?
I felt like I was watching an episode of Charmed. O.o I love Charmed, but this was so weird to me--I was waiting for an angel to pop up, or a demon or something. It never did...and while a lot of things like that have happened it was all because Gabriel willed it, not because they existed actually.
Ok 1 more dual point to be made: from now on, fairies, the alternate universe, and all this stuff is part of the mythology. Think about if you want that to be up there with the rugarus and the djinns...but there's the other side: this is a season about going into things that we'd never think are actually out there so if they can make it work well for the plot, or at least not completely derail it, I'll be fine...I honestly feel like the comedy in this episode hijacked the plot and the reasoning behind a lot of things going on this season...
After Dean's little fight with Tinkerbell, I couldn't stop laughing through the entire commercial break. This episode was hilarious. Even Sam, as clueless and funny and sarcastic and assaholic as he is without his soul -- he had me rolling. What with the creepy hippy UFO-fan bitch chick, and then the waitress at the diner, and just, guh.
Plus, Ben Edlund wrote the episode, and he's AWESOME.
But they lied about Cas being in this episode. They LIED. Evil lying opening credits!
Speaking of opening credits, how did everyone like the Supernatural adaptation of the X-Files theme? Even the opening scene had me flashing back to an X-Files ep :)
I was in the mood for a good laugh, and I laughed through the whole show. Mission accomplished. Not much depth beyond that, but not every episode has to have everything.
That episode was so awesome. Reminds me of Wishful Thinking, BDABR and Tall Tales. All of them awesome episodes. <3 Two thumbs up....and I think I'll go re-watch it now. ;)
I liked, I laughed, I though it was really weird. I'm not sure I want to think of Lucky Charms and Supernatural in the same vein. This is definitely a second viewing before I can converse sensibly about it. Too bad Gabriel didn't pop up at the end. Wherever he's at, he has to be laughing up a storm.
Leprechauns and fairies! Normally, I don't watch this show. But the X-Files references were too great to resist. It's camp and funny. Robert Picardo was the leprechaun mastermind is great. Sam nuked tinkerbell!
Welcome to Supernatural. I'm glad you liked it. If it helps Mitch Pileggi is guest starring this year as a recurring character, so I hope you watch again sometime.
Loved the episode. I have nothing but great things to say. Jared/Jensen you rocked and were awesome. I totally love Sam's sense of humor. The lines he had were great. I laughed the whole time except at the end when they were talking about his soul. I do not mind he has me thinking from episode to episode. His portrayl of soul less Sam leaves me speechless. Jensen gets A+ marks as well. He was to funny with Sam correcting him on how he comes across. Empathy Sam Empathy. Great line. Can not wait until the next episode.
I'm pretty sure Sam did lose his brain. He really needs to be told that banging the hippie chick while your brother is obviously missing in a town where 4 people have gone missing and not returned is a bad thing? Really? No wonder Dean is giving him the death glare. (I really love the Dean Winchester death glare, so... okay... stay stupid, Sam) I mean, sure RoboSam has no feelings or empathy but he does have logic, right? I'm with Dean, I do not want to know what Sam definition of fine is. He's still lying to Dean. But I'm pretty sure Dean knows it. That's gotta suck. And while I love the banter, Sam's lack of feeling when delivering some of his funny lines make them more insulting than funny. It could just be me, tho.
Outside of that little plot point, I did enjoy the humor. I loved Dean's fight with the 'tiny little hot naked chick'. Death by microwave. *shudders* All faeries should beware of modern technology. And the names they come up with for people: Pinocchio, Lucky Charms, Half-n-Half... made me chuckle everytime. I did like the pacing and the plot. Liked how they steered it toward an X-File type UFO and then tied it into mythology. That brings sci-fi right into the Supernatural world.
The weird camera shot when Dean was trying to lose the guy tailing him was extremely creepy. They should use that more. Rather disconcerting. Did anyone else find it weird that the one time they kind of pay homage to the X-files, Gpa Skinner is nowhere to be seen? Just struck me as odd that Mitch Pileggi wasn't in this one.
All in all, I did like this ep. Dean wrestling with a midget was priceless and I loved how it obviously looked like a hate crime -- even tho we all knew it was really about Faeries, not fairies. As for the serious side, I can see Dean getting to the point where he's got to wonder if it's even possible to save Sam -- or if Sam really wants to be saved. I know they're still gonna be knocking heads for a few more eps, but I am growing weary of RoboSam and his attitude and the toll it's taking on his brother. Hopefully things will come to a head soon and they'll make some progress so they can get to the task of figuring out what Crowley's game is and why Purgatory is important to him. Also need to tie Cas and his problems into everything. The stage has been set, so I'm guessing the second half of the season will be one hell of a roller coaster ride!
The leprechaun had to count the grains of salt Sam spilled. Crazy tea lady gave them that tip. It kept him occupied and gave Sam the time to read the reverse spell. I liked how freaked Dean was about the 'probing table' comment (standard fare in any alien abduction story) and the whole alien abduction thing itself. They've always known that aliens were hoax's, and Dean believes what he can see with his own two eyes. Imagine how suddenly being in the position of having to believe it was all for real would shake him up. He just 'started firing. They seemed surprised.' I'll bet. :)
And I'm with you, love Dean in jail. He looks good behind bars.
My mother doesn't like science fiction. I warned her before we started eating that I was watching that show. She was laughing hysterically. ( I did have to explain how Sam lost his soul. I broke it down pretty well, I think. :-)
Anyway, Souless Sam was actually pretty funny. I'm about as convinced as Dean that Sam isn't as good a hunter souless as he thinks he is.
But Dean. Dean. Dean. Hysterical Alien Abducted Dean.
Fairy Stalked Dean. "Nipples?" Wham! (Did everyone else get the microwave ding after Dean nuked the fairy and the screen went black. I was crying I laughing so hard.)
Dean needs to learn Sam's new "I'm lying face." Cause, I'm pretty sure Sam was re-thinking the 'get my soul back' decision.
The big thing I left the dog ep with was the feeling that the lack of a soul left sam's logic impaired. Sam was ready to shoot two innocent people without looking at anything but surface facts. He admitted to having killed innocent people and I can't help thinking its because he was taking out people he assumed were guilty because he wasn't thinking things through. How much does intuition have to do with deductive reasoning? Interesting. (well to me anyway)
Okay first off - 7 hours to download? WTF? I was sooo p***ed off ........waiting......waiting.....waiting some more...... :( Anyhoo.... got there in the end. :)
And it was worth the wait. :)))
Ben Edlund is my idol (well he already was but now even more so) <333 I so needed this to be simple and fun and no big dramas - and it was. :D Jared and Jensen are so great with comedy - the timing - the delivery - just perfect. <333 I loved all the parts that everyone else already mentioned. More one liners to add to our list of favorites.
And now I'm ready to move on with the story. Shame there's no new episode next week :(
Now I'm going to bed cause it's 1am and waaay past my bedtime - the things I do for SPN ;)
I wonder if the idea that pagan gods, or leprechauns, aren't restricted by Lucifer's cage will be revisited when we find out how Sam really got or gets out of the cage. Even though Gabriel is supposedly dead, he's part trickster, and maybe the Loki part of him could get in and out of the cage. Maybe archangel swords only kill angels and not tricksters. (still hoping for a Gabriel return!)
Well honestly it really was a funny episode but in the end I did not really liked it that much. It was just like fairies come on. It's just way too much. I can't help but so far season 6 is the weakest one. And I had been really excited because I thought Castie would be on, 'cause he was in the intro. But he was nowhere. Overall this episode was ok, it was funny but with all teh alien/fairie stuff it was, in my opinion anyway, way too much
LOL Cas was in the begining cause he is a regular, in normal show thats how it works, you are always in the "intro" when you're a reg :DDD (plus I'll take any thing with cas!)
OKay wow wasnt planing to read all this crazyness but saw at the end that you said "Epic group hug* and HEY I wanna be in it and own the right to be! So 30 min later I finished this HAHAHAH.
Dean's "Fake it till you make it" I LOVED THAT! omg, from there it could only be awesome LOL! Cas HAS to be in the intro... HE IS A REGULAR DUH hahahahah. (misha is not cas.. I'm pretty sure you understood... we never know lol)
HIPPY chick :D I cant believed she slept with sam about what he said (30 min thing)
HAHAHA the hand on the knee was HILARIOUS! It looked like Dean wasnt sure how to react...
WHAT NO BRO BEER!!!! I MISSED THAT! god i need to re watch!
BUT if they dont lie then every thing will be good between them. CMON we need angst we need a story HAHAHAH. "Dean STOP barking orders at RoboSam....He barely listened to you when he had a soul....and he cared...He doesn't now....He's gonna rebel....Don't say i didn't warn ya!!" LOL SO TRUE
Okay I'll give you that, im tired of the "i'm a better hunter..." And they always have the SAME talk. It feels like Lucifer in season 5 "Does the punishment fit the crime? I loved my father to much and blablabal" We heard that speech like every eps until the 10th LOL!
LOVE the power of love, this isnt Harry Potter HAHAHHAA made me laugh :DDD, so I see you DONT like souless SAM LOL!
"Seriously....reply to this comment if you are sick of this RoboSam storyline, and think it's gone on long enough :((" :( I'm replying but I LOVE IT
So I'm not allowed to comment if I'm not 'sick of this RoboSam storyline'? ;P Well I'm gonna anyway so: nyah, nyah ;P
It's not that I'm sick of it, or not sick of it........but I can't keep my mouth shut - you know that Rochey.....
You want Sam and Dean to communicate? Really? Cause, like, they haven't done that in........well.......ever.......... :P
But Dean having to explain every nuance of 'souled' behavior could be a turning point....... Maybe......
Anyway, I believe that Sera & Co know the fanbase a whole lot better than some fans seem to think.....They knew exactly the right time to throw in a lighter ep after winding us up for weeks.........
We've been played like a fish on a hook (not a fishing person but I think it's an appropriate analogy)........and now they'll move the story along. I find it sad that some fans are not able to see what's happening and just enjoy the ride. ;P
So I'm going to take great pleasure in blowing big fat raspberries at all the ones who are getting so hot under the collar (my, I'm just full of cliches today) when it all becomes clear.
*blows little raspberry at Rochey just for practice*
I loooove your rant....er....comment.......you made me laugh (again. You always make me laugh Rochey) *big hug for Rochey*
And I vote for: .....yes....Dean did get butt probed. You only had to look at his face lol (Don't know if I want to think too much about that though)
I thought the writing was weak this time around unfortunately, and whereas the novelty of Leprechauns is funny, it doesn't really fit into this universe.
Absolutely loved this episode. I didn't even realize how much I missed a hilarious funny Supernatural episode until I watched it. And casting Robert Picardo as the leprauchan was BRILLIANT!!!
Exactly. If RoboSam is such a great hunter now (as bobby even alluded to) shouldn't he be a bit more focused and a lot more intelligent than simply bullying people and killing or capturing without thinking it through? Like Dean said last week - "Yes! Before we turn a guy over for a life time of demon rape, of course we make sure!" Sam's not a better hunter just because he can do the job without fearing anything. It's the fear of being wrong and making a mistake that makes a hunter better. I don't think his brain is working better, I think it's working simpler.I think intuition has a lot to do with deductive reasoning. if you only have facts and no way to interpret them, you can't possibly get a good grasp of a situation.
The probing table is where the aliens strap you down and 'probe' you -- usually in places you'd rather not be 'probed'. It's pretty much part of every alien abduction story. Dean's reaction to the mere thought of the probing table was hilarious. And no, I don't think he was actually 'probed'. He went crazy and started slashing and firing, surprising the 'aliens', so I'm guessing they got rid of him before he became more trouble than they could handle. That's why he came back and the others didn't.
So, lesson for the day: when abducted by... aliens... or anything small and glowing... take a knife and a gun and fight like hell and they'll probably just decide you're not worth the hassle. Thank you, Dean.
I guess I was assuming that Gabriel had at some time taken a trickster as his vessel, and in the same way that the man (can't remember his name) who was Castiel's vessel is still alive inside of him, the trickster still might be part of what we've seen as Gabriel. There was that scene in which Gabriel was alone in his apartment gorging on food and women (the insatiable appetite being a characteristic of a trickster). I was thinking (hoping) that maybe the sword stabbing might be the way to kill an archangel, but may not be fatal to a trickster.
I'm not sure how the whole vessel thing works, but of all of the characters they could bring back from the dead, I'd love it if they brought Gabriel (or Loki) back.
And as if you would even need to tell me that Supernatural is better than Charmed? The awkward way the fairy workshop scene was filmed, it literally looked just like the way Charmed did it over 8 years ago. It irked me. And the whole episode's storyline literally sounded like something out of Charmed. Bash the show all you want, but I still saw what I saw, and it was a very weird episode, to say the least.
I do see your point - really I do. The comedy aspect of the episode kind of outshone the fairy/alternate universe concept, and apart from giving more insight into the impact soullessness (is that even a word?) has on Sam's judgement, the plot wasn't advanced at all.
I can see the writers might have problems fitting the alternate universe in with the current mythology, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
That whole 'nothing is as it seems' thing keeps going around...... and around..... and around.... in my head.................
I don't know if the leprechaun did have the juice to get Sam's soul back. Was he even a leprechaun? And that comment of Sam's about making deals.....hmmm......?
Fairies are far removed from rugarus and djinn............but there is a whole heap of lore about them. Maybe they aren't as big a leap as they seem........
Your comments always make me stop and think, Wilson........so thanks.......I think........;P
OK, finally got to watch it. And I don't know what to say.
This episode was so weird. It didn't even feel like Supernatural AT ALL. I mean fairies? That's crazy even for this show. That's a totally out-of-this-world idea.
I mean, it was hilarious. It's been long since I laughed so hard watching SPN. One liners were awesome. Soulless Sam is freaking hilarious, the way he doesn't care about anything cracks me up. Dean was about as confused in this episode as I was watching it lol great lines! my favs:
"Fake it till you make it" "Close encounter! Close encounter!" (actually the whole conversation was hilarious, with Sam drinking beer, realxed and all, "are they still after you?") "I've had time to adjust" "Did it happen when you were kids?" "no, like half an hour ago" LOL "I was obducted by aliens!" lol way too funny to hear that from Dean :P "I had a close encounter, Sam. And I won" "It was a little, glowing, hot, naked lady with nipples and... she hit me" "I'm not supposed to laugh, right?" "Dean... did you serve Oberon, the king of fairies?" "Fight those fairies! fight the fairies!!!"
I loved the comedy, but I would agree with Wilson, it was damn weird. It's wonderful they're trying to take us somewhere the show hasn't been yet, but man, Supernatural should be dark, not glittery. All other SPN comedy episodes were funny at first, but at the end of the day it was always a life threat or something the boys had to fight. Here it wasn't (that little fight in the end? naah).
And I must say I didn't get who was the guy after Dean... no clue...
I mean, I enjoyed the episode, but it felt really weird... I guess I did not have time to adjust lol
I absolutely loved this episode. I was kinda worried that it was gonna be dumb, since it was about fairies after all, but I really have to learn to never under-estimate this show. I thought the same thing about the episode Dark Side of the Moon before I saw it (because when I heard they were going to heaven, I automatically thought its gonna be the stereotypical idea of clouds and sky and blah blah blah), but that 1 was one of my favorites of the last season. This episode may have been my favorite episode of the season, and possibly one of my favorites of the series. A comedic episode was necessary
i don't get how Dean got out of jail. I mean, come on, he is a presumed dead fugitive and the DA just dropped the charges?
I don't understand what the fairies wanted first born sons for? Service to Oberon? It what fashion? Couldn't other fairies service Oberon? I just didn't get the episode.
I don't find Sam all that funny. Sam's comments tend to fall flat for me because Sam is, well, flat, what with having no soul and all. When Dean was making snarky comments he was usually doing it for some emotional reason, with Sam it just comes off as indifferent or hateful.
I believe in fighting the fairies, too! I thought this episode was so funny and we really needed a break from all the heartbreak in recent weeks. I enjoyed the history that the tea lady gave of the fairies. I expected something a little different from the leprechaun. For an actual second, I thought that Sam was going to take him up on his deal, but I am glad that Sam said no and then took care of him for good. It is still hard to take this robo-soul-less Sam and I hope we have more answers soon. I miss the old Sam and am anxous to have him back!
Yeh i am glad he trued down the deal aswell am just wondering what Dean is wondering though , does he really want his soul back ? . I mean switching of heartache is that such a bad thing ?. Maby Sam like's the fact that he is a better hunter and he can switch off if something happen's to say Dean. But i hope he get's his soul back i miss the connection between Dean and Sam and the joking , when Dean used to say "Bitch" and Sam would reply "Jerk" .
Ok where do i start mmmmm . The start of the episode was actually interesting with the couple making out near a crop field then the guy got taken by what we were meant to think as alien's. But then it got boring when everybody in the town had there own explication and Sam as usual was emotionless e.g having sex with a girl when Dean got taken by fairies . Then i thought oh no please , please go somewhere good with this story but it didn't . Dean getting attacked by tinker bell was so not funny . Then Dean seeing the little fairies was so lame it did not work it's mojo this time . Even gohstfacers was a better eposide , this was as bad as "bug's" . Then we found out that the leprechaun was actually the man who spreed the word about UFO'S which to be honest did not come as a big shock . The only bit in the episode i can give it credit for is the bit when the leprechaun offer's Sam a deal and Sam turn's it down weird considering he said in last week's "i think i want to be the old Sam " and also that he did not care about anybody even Dean. So why safe Dean and people i will tell you cause he want's to be soul-lees he like's it and how he can switch of his emotion's like a button . But knowing this was a bad episode does not mean i am giving up on SPN i would never , i think that like every other show you have dark episodes then have comedy to lighting it up . Just this one did not do it for me . I did like the end how Dean was wondering if Sam wanted his soul back as well cause of how he wanted it back so badly last week's .I think that Sam will as they said "come a real boy" again but not till the show get's really dark and i don't see a good ending , i think one of them will not cheat death this time , am thinking Dean will cut a deal , not a crossroad's deal , an angel deal . We never knew that it excited till in the episode "the third man" but that's how i think they will get it back and he will die for good but be in a good place . I really want the show to take off from where it left off at "all dog's go to Heaven" it was dark and getting interesting the story i don't want anymore comedy seriously , it's meant to be a parnomral show yes but don't kill it for good sake with stupid episode's like this or it will die.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
FIGHT THE FAIRIES! <3
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!!! Loved the comedy!!!!!

ReplyDeleteOnly real bad thing is... the promo. But Cas is there so its all good. Did it say in two weeks? I know it is but... a girl can hope
Awesome! It wasn't an all out laugh fest like Changing Channels, but a solid outing with lots of humour!Among my favourites:
ReplyDelete"What type of encounter"
"I'm not supposed to laugh right..."
"did it happen in your childhood? No, It's been about 30 minutes"
"Fight the fairies!"
"All you need is the cats"
The star trek guy.
Dean nuking the fairie, lol.
Overall, I will give the episode a B+. Edlund, you never fail to impress me. :) I hope Sam will stay this way for a while!
:D mwahhahahaa, yes an other soulesssam fan.
ReplyDeleteLoved "fake it till you make it" from dean.
omg the "no its been half an hour" (or 30 min dont know) WAS AWESOME
I picked OK. I might change my mind later, but this episode was so weird to me. I loved the comedy, and I loved Sam's new ability to turn anything into a hilarious situation cause he just doesn't care, but does anyone else smell a shitty plot storm? I mean, Fairies, from another dimension? This random woman in town knows EVERYTHING about them? A Leprechaun can get into Lucifer's cage?
ReplyDeleteI felt like I was watching an episode of Charmed. O.o
I love Charmed, but this was so weird to me--I was waiting for an angel to pop up, or a demon or something.
ReplyDeletePlus, Ben Edlund wrote the episode, and he's AWESOME.
But they lied about Cas being in this episode. They LIED. Evil lying opening credits!
Speaking of opening credits, how did everyone like the Supernatural adaptation of the X-Files theme? Even the opening scene had me flashing back to an X-Files ep :)
"Jiminy" as in "Jiminy Cricket," Pinocchio's conscience from the Disney movie.
ReplyDeleteI was in the mood for a good laugh, and I laughed through the whole show. Mission accomplished. Not much depth beyond that, but not every episode has to have everything.
ReplyDeleteAlso were they in Indiana AGAIN? They've got to be running into the same towns soon if they visit once more! :)
ReplyDeleteFight the Fairies!!! This episode made me laugh more than i have in a while! :)
ReplyDeleteThat episode was so awesome. Reminds me of Wishful Thinking, BDABR and Tall Tales. All of them awesome episodes. <3 Two thumbs up....and I think I'll go re-watch it now. ;)
ReplyDeleteI liked, I laughed, I though it was really weird. I'm not sure I want to think of Lucky Charms and Supernatural in the same vein. This is definitely a second viewing before I can converse sensibly about it. Too bad Gabriel didn't pop up at the end. Wherever he's at, he has to be laughing up a storm.
ReplyDeleteLeprechauns and fairies!
ReplyDeleteNormally, I don't watch this show.
ReplyDeleteLoved the episode.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Sam did lose his brain.
ReplyDeleteOutside of that little plot point, I did enjoy the humor.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you, love Dean in jail. He looks good behind bars.
yea I laughed a few times myself, lol
ReplyDeleteOh dear bloomin' goodness!
ReplyDeleteMy mother doesn't like science fiction.
I loved loved loved the X-Files like opening.
I loved the ep and can't wait to watch it again.
ReplyDeleteOkay first off - 7 hours to download? WTF? I was sooo p***ed off ........waiting......waiting.....waiting some more...... :(
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo.... got there in the end. :)
And it was worth the wait. :)))
Ben Edlund is my idol (well he already was but now even more so) <333
I so needed this to be simple and fun and no big dramas - and it was. :D
Jared and Jensen are so great with comedy - the timing - the delivery - just perfect. <333
I loved all the parts that everyone else already mentioned.
More one liners to add to our list of favorites.
And now I'm ready to move on with the story. Shame there's no new episode next week :(
Now I'm going to bed cause it's 1am and waaay past my bedtime - the things I do for SPN ;)
wooowwwww... what an episode!!! i loved every single quote...
ReplyDeletefreaking puppet??? amazing
ReplyDeleteWell honestly it really was a funny episode but in the end I did not really liked it that much.
ReplyDeleteIt was just like fairies come on. It's just way too much.
I can't help but so far season 6 is the weakest one.
And I had been really excited because I thought Castie would be on, 'cause he was in the intro. But he was nowhere.
Overall this episode was ok, it was funny but with all teh alien/fairie stuff it was, in my opinion anyway, way too much
Gabriel was never a trickster god. He was a fallen archangel pretending to be a trickster to hide his true identity.
ReplyDeleteLOL Cas was in the begining cause he is a regular, in normal show thats how it works, you are always in the "intro" when you're a reg :DDD (plus I'll take any thing with cas!)
ReplyDeleteNEXT WEEK NEXT WEEK... OH f.... right TWO WEEKS
But what is a probing table???
ReplyDeleteThanks lol! DAMN! I knew that ahhaah, been so long wow.
ReplyDeleteOKay wow wasnt planing to read all this crazyness but saw at the end that you said "Epic group hug* and HEY I wanna be in it and own the right to be! So 30 min later I finished this HAHAHAH.
ReplyDeleteDean's "Fake it till you make it" I LOVED THAT! omg, from there it could only be awesome LOL!
"Seriously....reply to this comment if you are sick of this RoboSam storyline, and think it's gone on long enough :((" :( I'm replying but I LOVE IT
DONE!!! HUGS lol. you're fun
So I'm not allowed to comment if I'm not 'sick of this RoboSam storyline'? ;P
ReplyDeleteWell I'm gonna anyway so: nyah, nyah ;P
You only had to look at his face lol
(Don't know if I want to think too much about that though)
Only Ben Edlund would think of nuking Tinkerbell in a microwave..........
ReplyDeleteI'm sooo impressed.
The guy never fails to come up with something new, warped, and/or just plain sick. :)))
I thought the writing was weak this time around unfortunately, and whereas the novelty of Leprechauns is funny, it doesn't really fit into this universe.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved this episode. I didn't even realize how much I missed a hilarious funny Supernatural episode until I watched it. And casting Robert Picardo as the leprauchan was BRILLIANT!!!
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteThe probing table is where the aliens strap you down and 'probe' you -- usually in places you'd rather not be 'probed'.
ReplyDeleteSo, lesson for the day: when abducted by... aliens... or anything small and glowing... take a knife and a gun and fight like hell and they'll probably just decide you're not worth the hassle. Thank you, Dean.
:D Yeah always have gun knife and salt on you and you will be alright hhaha oh and iron
ReplyDeleteYou'd know you're watching an episode of Charmed when you're actually watching an episode of Smallville.
ReplyDeleteEven Supernatural's worst episdoes are miles above those two shows.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how the whole vessel thing works, but of all of the characters they could bring back from the dead, I'd love it if they brought Gabriel (or Loki) back.
hey, next thing we know, there'll me unicorns that ride on moonbeams and shoot rainbows out of their asses, HAHA xP
ReplyDeleteThat sentence was confusing...
ReplyDeleteAnd as if you would even need to tell me that Supernatural is better than Charmed?
The awkward way the fairy workshop scene was filmed, it literally looked just like the way Charmed did it over 8 years ago. It irked me. And the whole episode's storyline literally sounded like something out of Charmed. Bash the show all you want, but I still saw what I saw, and it was a very weird episode, to say the least.
DEAN WILL EAT HIS WORDS!
ReplyDeleteXD!!!
I do see your point - really I do. The comedy aspect of the episode kind of outshone the fairy/alternate universe concept, and apart from giving more insight into the impact soullessness (is that even a word?) has on Sam's judgement, the plot wasn't advanced at all.
ReplyDeleteI can see the writers might have problems fitting the alternate universe in with the current mythology, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
What sentence of mine ISN'T confusing?
ReplyDeleteAhh I loved this episode ^^ I laughed so much and the scene where Dean nuked tinkerbell ... nipples? hilarious!
ReplyDeleteOK, finally got to watch it. And I don't know what to say.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was so weird.
Dean was about as confused in this episode as I was watching it lol
great lines! my favs:
"Fake it till you make it"
"Close encounter! Close encounter!" (actually the whole conversation was hilarious, with Sam drinking beer, realxed and all, "are they still after you?")
"I've had time to adjust" "Did it happen when you were kids?" "no, like half an hour ago" LOL
"I was obducted by aliens!" lol way too funny to hear that from Dean :P
"I had a close encounter, Sam. And I won"
"It was a little, glowing, hot, naked lady with nipples and... she hit me" "I'm not supposed to laugh, right?"
"Dean... did you serve Oberon, the king of fairies?"
"Fight those fairies! fight the fairies!!!"
ReplyDeletei don't get how Dean got out of jail. I mean, come on, he is a presumed dead fugitive and the DA just dropped the charges?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what the fairies wanted first born sons for?
ReplyDeleteYeh i am glad he trued down the deal aswell am just wondering what Dean is wondering though , does he really want his soul back ?
ReplyDeleteOk where do i start mmmmm .
ReplyDelete
