    2nd best episode of the season!! even better then the 200th episode i think!!! Granny Goodness, Desaad, Godfrey, Harriet, Julian Sands and helen slater, teri hatcher all guest starred and were amazing. Great job on the casting for Granny she was perfect!!! I want to see more desaad and granny i dont like godfrey to much. TESS IS LEX'S SIS??!!??! DID NOT EXPECT THAT!!!!! I MEAN COMMMON TESS admitted she loved lex in season 8 bulletproof and i dont think it was the sisterly kind! They finally said Lord Darkseid!!! yay!!! Lois brings up apocalips lol!! The teri hatcher moment surprisingly made me shed a couple tears!! The only episodes to do that were 100th episode and Veritas i think it was, the one where lana is put in that hospital by brainiac. GREAT EPISODE!!

    Have to agree I did not like it much either. Teri Hatcher was a major let down after all the hype, I LOATHE Julian Sands as Jor'el (and why is Clark dark haired and dark eyed when his parents are blonde and blue eyed... does Krptonian genetics not follow Earth's rules?) and overall just felt lackluster to me. Maybe Granny will be more evil or ominous in the future but she was a snore-fest tonight. I guess after a few STELLAR epsiodes this season they were bound to have a bad one....

    this is just my opinion but for comic book fans who know alot about darkseid and superman this was a biggy for us. For fans of the show who never read the comics and for fans of the show who have, have a different vision on the show so that must be y we dont agree with each other. For me the big moments was the meeting of Darkseid's elite, tess finding out she is lex's sister, and lois seeing her mom (past lois-teri hatcher)

    I agree with everything u said....2nite what really really got me hyped was finding out about Tess, and that very pretty engagement ring, hehe!! I squeeeee at that part, lol

    This was THE most boring episode of the season thus far. I'm soooooo disappointed. I can't believe how boring it was, I was shocked I was so excited for it. It was not only boring but it dragged on forever. I literally kept shooting glances at the clock to see when it was going to be over. *face palm* it was sooooo annoying as well. The whole Granny Goodness and the Furies and Desaad and even Godfrey was just ugh boring and stupid. I am shocked that they wasted an episode on this and just hope that next Friday will be way better! The ONLY thing I liked was Clois and the fact that Clark had the ring at the end. Overall a crapfest episode

    I can see that. To me tho Granny was not that evil or powerful. Her troop of warrior princesses had Clark chained adn under control and then when Granny came in he escaped from her. OK the demonic cheerleaders had help from krptonite...given. I never read the comics since they aren't my thing, but I assume Granny or Darkseid Elite were badasses in the comics? I hope they come off more evil or powerful or atleast as someone I would not ask for gardening advice... I guess with so many scifi shows and movies it is hard, but it just seemd so done already. You had Freddy krueger warrior and one like the whipmaster from Underworld with dual whips and then one with 2 sai like Electra. Maybe all those cliche things to me would be cool if they were familiar to me in the comic book forms...

    The Tess being a Luther seemed predictable to me. Was that in the comics or a series twist?That could play out to be the biggest reveal of the episode in the longrun to me.

    I knew Tess was a Luthor when I started watching SMAVILLE again & that was last season, I had been waiting for them to say she was a Luthor since then, it was pretty obvious.

    I have to admit also Granny Goodness took a little long for her to show tess who she is i was just waiting for it. I disagree with people who thought it sucked because for real comic book fans and people who know darkseid and his team, this was a huge step. Granny Goodness, Desaad, Godfrey, the female furies mainly: Mad Harriet and Lashina! Finally the Darkseid story has continued and i hope that before winter break they will bring it up again. Im actually looking forward to the Darkseid arc then Lex

    the only thing i wished they would have done better is have more scenes with desaad. Although it is a granny goodness episode. So episode 3-Supergirl was a godfrey episode, episode 8-abandoned was a granny goodness episode, and all we need is a desaad episode. Probably episode 11 or 12. i would be surprised if its later.
