So, I've pretty much handled all the drama on this show since it's usually so very well-written, but tonight's episode had me rolling my eyes multiple times. The whole teacher love interest thing is just ridiculous. And to continue it is even more ridiculous. I do like Baze's subplot so far, as he is progressing well as a character, and I think the Julia drama between Cate and Ryan was generally alright, but the 3 couples doing things at the same time at a school event creeped me out. I mean, on a bus? With teachers around? (Hell, one of the teachers was in the middle of teaching Lux how to "swim"...) I'm just saying even with suspension of belief, this was too out there for me...and my favorite show is "Supernatural" if that tells you anything about how far I can push reality to bend for the story...
Liking Supernatural has nothing to do with how far you can push what for the story. This series is just one of every show on the CW that would rather push slutty/douchbaggery actions than having a well-written series and that's what makes Supernatural an amazing show: not angels, or demons, but what makes the series is the story of two brothers, driving an Impala. That's the core of what makes Supernatural brilliant; in a series about the supernatural, they have a more reality-based story about family than any ignorant show that's on the CW, which is mostly based on glitz and glamour.
Well, if you read the last sentence, you can clearly read that I would watch an entire episode just because of Sophia Bush, lol.
However, I did enjoy watching One Tree Hill during the high school years as it was about basketball as much as it was as much about stereotypical drama.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletelol If you can sit through that One Tree Hill drivel, then why are you complaining about LUX?
