It kinda felt like a slight step back in terms of break-taking 'Wow' factor, but we got some awesome development of Alt-Broyles, and Olivia reminding us why she s the better 'Olivia.' Thought Henry was a little wasted, and the attempted escape wasn't much, but then, the proper escape is coming next week. Also, loved the small shout out to 'The Same Old Story' with the Hormones and Pineal Gland.
I was rocking uncontrollably when the episode ended. Olivia was so close! I thought for sure she could control it! Also, great reveal of Alt-livia's deception. Can't wait for Peter to take her down.
Don't forget to mention Burlap Bear book from "Unleashed". It was in Max's room. Olivia noticed. I even like the teaser ending, where they were talking about Casablanca.
Ooo I got chills when the lady called Peter because I didn't think Olivia got her message out (at least until the phone rang). 2 weeks can't come soon enough!
While I hate the wait as much as anyone, I have to point out that Fringe is not getting postponed because of the Simpsons... it's postponed because of Thanksgiving... And I really can't blame them for that one.
I agree. It wasn't as epic as I had hoped or expected it to be, but it was still a solid episode that provided a lot of character and story development. The last ten minutes, in particular, were incredible. And the whole candyman story turned out to be quite a bit better than I'd expected based on how it had been portrayed in the promos. All in all, I was quite pleased with this episode and I can't wait to see what happens next!
It was a solid episode, but not as good as I expected. Great episode for Alt-Broyles and nice call-backs to S1. Now Alt-Broyles has to step up and help Olivia escape from Walternate. The next episode looks promising.
I said okay but I think its better then okay just not great lol. I dunno I'm starting to be enoyed with the two universe I just want the real Olivia in one world and have 1 show. But then the ending was so awesome hehehe that my enoyed face has passed lol. Finaly at least they know olivia is not olivia

You know what is going to be even better. From the preview footage. It looks like the other Olivia will do a heroic deed, thanks to Walter.

ReplyDeleteLance Reddick was phenomenal.
i think this episode sets up alt-broyles as somewhat instrumental to our OLIVIA's survival. he's indebted to Olivia.
