This was a great episode of Dexter. Dex and Lumen continue to grow their twisted relationship, Deb is dealing with a mountain of crap (as usual), Quinn made strides toward not being such a dick, and Peter Weller is absolutely fantastic in this show playing a crazy scumbag.
Also, the writers of Dexter have dialed back to season one of the show when LaGuerta was a professionally ambitious, look out for #1, untrustworthy snake. Bonus points to Batista for finally showing a spine and siding with Debra (if he actually goes through with it).
To all you Dexter fans out there... this poll clearly shows you still recognize Dexter Season 5 as quality television! Unfortunately over at TV.com, a small number of determined haters / former fans have taken it upon themselves to completely sabotage this season's episode ratings. These people are creating account after account just to give every episode a 1. Every day the ratings are dropping a bit more and with only a few votes added each time, clearly due to these determined people spamming it with 1's. I realize that in the grand scheme of things, it's pretty much just episode ratings on a website, but to the people who visit the site who haven't watched this show before and are considering checking it out, it makes it look as though the show has taken a swan dive in quality this season, which is clearly not the case. All I ask is that if anybody who votes weekly here also has a TV.com account, please take the time to visit the Dexter page to vote and give the Season 5 episodes the ratings they truly deserve so this sabotage is further prevented! If only half or even just a quarter of the people that vote in these weekly Dexter polls did this, this trend could be turned around completely and the value of their constant barrage of low votes would be diluted. I apologize for the long-winded message but many TV.com members are sick of seeing this happen to such a great show and would be thankful to see the ratings once again reflect what the loyal and true Dexter fans really think of the season!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome ending
ReplyDeleteYet another superb episode! And that moment with Dexter on stage, I hoped he was going to kill Jordan right then and there!
