  1. I cannot believe how good this season is.

After Rita was killed, I thought it might be the decline of the show, but wham bam thank you ma'am, it is delicious.

  2. Ahhh, I can't watch this one until tomorrow, I don't know if I can wait that long! The commercials made it look like a big one... Why does Dexter have to be so good?! xD

  3. wow this episdoe was so beyond great, lumen makes dexter an even better show. Dexter and lumen complete each other and i couldnt keep my eyes off the last 10 minutes. It made my heart race and drop i felt like so emotionally attached, Dexter-"lumen makes me feel like im not a monster"

  4. This is all kinds of crazy! Just watched this episode with my mouth open, not sure if I actually breathed or not. Love Dexter & Lumen together but this isn't going to end pretty is it? :( Not looking good for Quinn either just when I was actually starting to like him!

  5. Yeah I feel bad for liking Dexter and Lumen together because of Rita, but I cant help it, they are so great and they are good for each other, I hope that nothing happens to them but it is Dexter and no one can on the show can stay happy for long.

  6. Yeah so this season has turned from "meh" this is going to be a long post mortem for season 4 or a season 2 rehash to the best and most daring season yet. I'd feel happier with that claim though if I wasn't so nervous about what will be the conclusion for Lumen, especially now that by hope of her being an actual love interest for Dexter is a reality. Is it really set in stone that she can't be a permeant fixture in Dexter's life or the show's cast? If so I'm more dreading the end of the season than anticipating it. I know this show likes tragedy, but even if Lumen isn't killed which would be the most redundant conclusion ever, I still don't feel comfortable with the idea of her not continuing her relationship with Dexter. Im not the "shiping" sort of fan, Im a pretty masculine guy, but these past few episodes just have me so damn invested in this Dexter/Lumen thing. Also with Liddy,Quinn, and Deb so close I'd feel best if I know this was the final season and the whole so would just conclude in the next two episodes. There is just so much tension right now I feel I could go insane.

  7. I know how you feel. This one had my pulse racing for almost the whole episode. I really am scared for Dexter and Lumen but I also can't wait to see how it all goes down. It's seems that after Deb's discovery that the vigilante (or at least one of them) is a former victim, Lumen might end up taking the fall for all the crimes. And if that happens, how does Deb deal with knowing that Lumen was so closely connected to Dexter? After Brian Moser, and finding Dex in Trinity's garage...how can she keep avoiding the truth? I have a really bad feeling that just maybe, this season will end with Dexter saying to Deb exactly what he said to her at the start of it - "It was me", making a sacrifice so that after all Lumen has been through she wouldn't have to go through any more of it. There are so many different ways it could go though that I know I'm gonna go crazy theorizing up until next Sunday.

  8. Another way to end this season would be to have Lumen kill herself. She has been through a lot and might not be able to live with it any longer.
Of course,I prefer your idea, but Dexter must get rid off Liddy as he now has evidence that Dexter has been with Lumen all the time helping her with a murder. It's only a matter of time until he finds out that Dexter has been killing for a very long time.
If Dexter is revealed as a serial killer, it should be fun seeing him on the run in the next season.
I can hardly wait for next week's episode!!!

  9. I think that had Dexter not entered her life as he did, if he had just let her go on her way after rescuing her from Boyd, Lumen committing suicide would have been a very possible outcome. But Dexter has helped her so much that she's finally getting close to some form of stability again, and I don't see the writers being THAT cold this year, especially after what they did to Rita last year =/. Don't get me wrong though, there's still quite a huge chance she could die but... I think after all Dexter's learned this year, if there were ever a time he was willing to sacrifice it all for someone else, it's now. I really don't know how it's gonna play out though, and that makes me nervous! There has to be a season 6, no way they wrap it up this fast... but if Deb does find out this year, what happens? That question really has me stumped.

As for Liddy... I still really think Quinn's going to be the one to kill him. There's been a lot of tension and build-up between them this year but none really between Liddy and Dexter. If Dexter offed him, even though Liddy's so close to Dexter's secret, it would feel sort of like the Skinner in Season 3, where they barely knew each other so it barely had any real impact. Plus Dexter kind of has his hands full with Lumen and Jordan Chase and who knows, if Liddy crosses the line one more time, I don't think it's unreasonable to think Quinn could react impulsively in an attempt to protect everyone involved, especially Debra. Because if Quinn kept pursuing Dexter, even if he's right, Deb would never look at him the same. There really are just so many possible ways this season could go from here on out it really is gonna drive me crazy thinking about it!

  10. Fantastic episode. The show really knows how to tighten the screws at the end of the season.

  11. The first rule of Harry's code is not to get caught. Dexter couldn't do it with Doakes, but I think that Dexter might kill Liddy this time.

  12. Dexter's been playing a little fast and loose with the rules. I mean, there was no actual evidence that Alex (the redhead they killed tonight) ever actually murdered anyone. Yeah, Lumen killed her and its her thing, but it's a bit strange to me that his Dark Passenger doesn't even reflect on it.

  13. There is thousand ways to end this season... Even if they catch Dexter with body of Jordan Chase - it's only one dead guy. Remember - there is no evidence of any Dexter's past murders. In my opinion - Lumen will take a fault for taking out Jordan Chase to protect Dex and his family --- and sixth season will be centered around her trial and Dex trying to free her. Of course Jordan will not go easily - he will think of something that would shake Dexters world... maybe he will kidnapp Deb - and Dexter will kill him just in front of her eyes to save her? I don't know... but i can't wait for next episode :)

  15. Wow. I finally got around to watching this episode yesterday... I'm just blown away! How can anything be this good?! I just can't stop thinking about it... easily my favorite episode. I'm just dreading the end of this season. I just can't imagine it ending well for Lumen... :(
