ReplyDeleteThe only "love triangle" I've ever cared about was on One Tree Hill 5 years ago.
While I love the series, TVD love trianlge is less love and more obsession or codependency and annoys me more than it excites me. Seriously, after more than a few decades one would think the Salvatore boys would have found perscriptions for the nueroses!
ReplyDeleteTrue Blood's i the hottest triangle on TV by far More twisted than codependant, and less puppydog teen love and more full on adult lust. It's the dfference between PG-13 and NC-17, but atleast both are better than Twilight's rated G undead romance novel. I swear it is like porn for preschoolers!
I love the TVD triangle. I just love Damon, Stefan and Elena.

ReplyDeleteBut I wouldn't be me if I didn't say that LOST had the best love triangle of all time ;) Jack, Kate and Sawyer were just epic.

ReplyDeletei'll have to go with the one in Lost Girl (as underrated that show is there, sadly :<). For one it breaks away the mold of "two men fawning over same woman" or "two women fawning over same man" mold.
ReplyDeleteAnd for second, I like how the both relationships are displayed - one being more emotional one, other being more physical one.
I watched the Lost Girl pilot episode and really didn't enjoy it. The production looked so tacky, kinda reminded me of that horrible Relic Hunter show.

ReplyDeleteLost Girl, hands down. Because not only is it a bisexual love triangle, it's also preeeetty heavily implied that Bo needs more than one partner to sustain her. And polyamory is far less common on tv and that makes it interesting.
