The first time he said "There's something alluring about an angel drawn to the dark side". At the party he said "It appears the rules are there to be broken."
I have to question Nate's friendship with Chuck because of the way this storyline is going. Look at the N/B/C triangle of season 2 compared to D/S/N triangle of Season 4. Either Nate loved Blair more than he loves Serena, or he value's his friendship with Dan more than he value's his friendship with Chuck.
Or, third option, Nate is continuing to grow and become a more mature person. How he handled the triangle in season two isn't something I could see his character doing in season 4.
Heh. I can't disagree with most of that assessment. It seems as though Nate is the only character making any positive progress. I think Dan is actually getting worse.
Really? Because IMHO, after keeping them on their respective hooks since last spring, inviting them out and then ditching them, kissing Dan and then dumping Nate, or trying to go after Dan when he was with Vanessa and then having a thing with Nate at the same party she took Dan to ... well, honestly, if I were either of them, I wouldn't keep trying to date her, but barring that, it seems fair after months and months of back and forth to make her decide already. I don't think it's ridiculous to ask that after, what, five, five and a half months that she finally either pick one or let them both go for now. I mean, they're both supposed to be her friends at the very least. Shouldn't she be treating them better? But I guess that's just how I see it. :D
Yes, really. I expect better of Dan and Nate than I do Serena. Honestly, I think both guys should run the other way and not look back. Serena van der Woodsen is emotional poison and I feel sorry for any guy that falls for her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What did Chuck said ? ;__;
ReplyDeletefirst he says sth like angels and dark side and at the end he says "it appears the rules are there to be broken"

ReplyDeleteOMG!!! I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS EPISODE CHUCK SAYIN LOVE U!!!
ReplyDeleteNot very classy, Dan and Nate. I know Serena is a flake when it comes to her feelings but you don't gang up on someone and give them an ultimatum.
ReplyDeleteIm really hating on there 'bromance'.

ReplyDeleteOr the fourth option, these characters aren't as well developed as they should be...
