  1. Much better picture quality than the first video i saw yesterday.
The other was a bit of an insult to our lovely girl, it made her look like she had tooth decay and we know she has great gnashers. An asset in fact.
    Thanks for posting it.

  2. Not worth watching 3hrs of the parade for a chance to strain to hear Summer speaking over the screams of the crowds for 30 seconds.
    Glad you posted this!

  3. NBC promoting The Cape is always a good thing; and what better ambassadors than the two stars of the show David Lyons and the adorable Summer Glau ?
I hope their will be a big push early january.

  4. I hope “The Cape” will be a success for Summer. It is definitely on my list of shows to watch next year.

  5. Let's face it, you all watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC this year to see Summer Glau ;)

  6. It was kinda funny how Summer seemed more preoccupied by watching the parade then talking to the reporter. I think there was even a moment where she was "wow Look!" to her co star and pointed at something when the interviewer was reading something on his cards.

I also love that David Lyons got a little offended when the interviewer was like "I wish I could use the cape to fly back to the studio!" and David was "But it doesn't fly!" but they cut his microphone and Summer was already compelety in the zone for the parade LOL!

    worst interview ever!!

  7. It's pretty amazing the studio paid to fly the both of them out there just for a 2 minute interview - was there a clip of the show at least?.

And yeah very funny that Summer ended up paying more attention to the parade.

  8. Summer Glau : " I play an investigative blogger. "
I'm not sure all NBC viewers knows what an investigative blogger is.I honestly had no clue what a investigative blogger was when I heard about this show.

  9. Well, i'm not sure promoting "The Cape" during the Macy's parade is such a bad move from NBC. Of course 60 year old ladies and middle aged parents with kids are not the target audience but i don't think The Cape is a geek show like Heroes or TSCC.
It's not sci-fi but action-drama: that means that The Cape's audience should be broader than for these shows (at least i hope so if it has to be a success).

  13. Thank you. Summer looks lovely as always. I love the way she’s smiling, when you see it, you can’t resist but to smile too, she’s got a contagious smile.

  14. Edward, I agree. It’s just a natural reflex when you see her smiling. She looked cute all bundled up, and she has the most adorable nose.
41 more days until The Cape…

  16. Thanks for posting the video. It saved us a lot of time going over the Macy parade video footage to find this gem.

Great interview of Summer where she is genuinely having lots of fun since its her first time to attend. She’s like a kid in a candy store. :) Looking forward to watch Summer’s many disguises as an investigative blogger in “The Cape”.

  17. The more I "investigate" this show, the more hyped I am becoming. The cast, just wow. Vinnie Jones, Keith David (The Thing!!), Cameron from TSCC :), etc. They are putting so much just into the score, which I believe is something very, very important to a show like this and could draw an audience in just by the first few seconds of the premiere. Giving each cast member their own original score is an awesome idea!
