If this is the same couple as in Michael Ausiello's blind item from a few months ago, he already revealed (In Ask Ausiello a fortnight ago) that the show it's on is How I Met Your Mother. He didn't specifically *say* that it's Robin and Barney but come on...!

Hmmm, definitely not Damon and Elena, Lois and Clark, or Huddy and House. The first is impossible, the second unlikely for the realm of Smallville, and the third would be ridiculous.

If people watch How I met your Mother and remember the first ep when ted is at the wedding and is the best man I think that this is Barney and Robins wedding because the producers said that they are not exactly over and that they like the chemistry that they had and they said that Robin and Ted are not over. ReplyDeletePersonally I would have loved Lois/Clark but I know that won't happen unfortunately. I hope that it's not Lexie/Mark because I don't like them at all, I personally like Lexie/Alex better. And from what I hear I don't think it could be House/Cuddy or Blaire/Chuck. So I've no idea hehe.

I would love for Emma and Carl to get engaged but a) I don't think John Stamos will be a regular on the show and b) she just got engaged to Ken Tanaka last season!

*Flash-forward* to their wedding, with a shot of the yellow umbrella to remind viewers (or even show the identity of the mother).
The timing of the wedding could then be left until the series finale, whether that's season 7 or later.
If the mother is introduced in the series finale they avoid the potential problem of the fanbase hating the character.

If you remember How I met Your Mother Fans what stella said at Ted's wedding 'Don't bring ex's to a wedding' Maybe they get engaged then Robin tells of her love for Ted because the producers said that both relationships aren't over. . . . . . .
ReplyDeleteYes and also the clues at the wedding: Ted was best man and Lily was maid of honour (or bridesmaid at least). I can only think of Robin and Barney where *both* Ted and Lily would be in those roles. Robin and Barney were also both absent from the scene: it has to be Barney's wedding or why wouldn't he have been outside with Ted and Marshall.

You just know Michael and Holly are going to be together by the end of this season so Michael can have his happily ever after so I guess my vote goes to them.

ReplyDeleteTracycutie, I'm with you,it would seeeeeeeeem to be too soon for House and Cuddy to get engaged but not if something major were to happen to the couple...say, perhaps, Cuddy's mom plants some ideas in House's head and perhaps Cuddy were to end up pregnant by the end of the season. Something tells me that that plotline may one day come about given how much Cuddy wanted to be pregnant and could never conceive or hold onto a pregnancy for long. It would be cool and it would totally rock the show and the following season 8? Imagine the comedic and angsty possibilities. The Shipper in me wants this to happen but the realist in me knows better than to expect something like this. Still it would be cool if House popped the question at some point. I can't imagine how he'd do it but it would be clever.

i really think its going to be chuck and blair that get engaged. speaking as someone who watches all 3 shows.

on the office unless it comes about quite suddenly i dont think its gonna happen. holly hasnt been seen on an episode and when michael talked to her she had a boyfriend.
chuck and blair on the other hand have been going back and forth all season and even if there is a breakup btw them in the next few episodes recent episodes have showed that there is still a love connection being merely masked by hate.
and with gg we all know that chuck/ blair together is inevitable! whether they reconcile in the next weeks or on the last episode of season 4.
OOOhhhhhh, I am REALLY hoping for CHuck and Blair...but I think it will be Michael and Holly, which I like them too, but they are NO C & B..:)
ReplyDeleteChuck/Blair will get engaged, not now (December), but in the end of the season, i'm 99% sure of it, GG loves parallels. i don't watch Smallville, but if the show follows Superman timeline, i guess that won't be them, so it's the office couple :) although i really want to be Chuck/Blair, it's impossible for them (now).

ReplyDeleteWell I am really excited to see Blair and Chuck in the final 3 spot. I still have hope for them, but it just seems off. Right now they are enemys with benefits. And are trying to become friends after wards but are letting out there anger.. But then they (only) kiss in episode 9. Isn't Episode 12 the townie (that name has been changed) the christmas episode? It is a good time for a proposal, Its Blairs favorite holiday. But it also makes sence that it would be either the office people or smallville.

ReplyDeleteWhy not? in the future scenes with Lois and Clark Lois didn't have her wedding ring, so fans have been questioning if they do get married or not. If that was done intentionally by the producers to throw off the fans then it worked perfectly. Plus, on Friday Clark asked Lois's father a very important question. So Clark is definitely popping the question. :)
ReplyDeleteI really don't think there is any other type of question that would a man asks a girl's father besides for her hand in marriage, especially not after the father has approved of the guy, and let's not forget the unique glances they gave each other in the last scene. Lois noted something different in Clark and he was just staring at her. He's definitely going to ask her to marry him. At this point, it's IMO very obvious. ;)
