One of the more asked for requests that I get in my bulging inbox is that of having a Twitter feed for individual shows rather than having to follow the full SpoilerTV Twitter Account. As a result we're going to trial this with 5 shows that will each get their own spoilertv Twitter Account. As with most of these site decisions the choice of the first 5 shows to get their own Twitter Account is down to you, the readers! If the trial goes well we will then look to extended this to other shows if the demand warrants it.
So please vote below for the 5 Shows that you would like to see get an twitter account of their own. The poll will be left up for a day or so and then we'll start to program in the twitter accounts of the winners and announce the update.
I went with Supernatural but I'm not sure if I'd rather a specific account. If there were specific ones it'd mean I'd have to follow each show individually (unless it's just for the most voted for show) and I prefer it all coming from the one account.

ReplyDeleteI was going to say Smallville but I guess you're right about the show ending and all...I voted Supernatural and Chuck, which are the only shows I watch on that poll. Nice idea to make individual twitters for shows.

Rizzoli & Isles, although it's only during the summer so I don't know whether anyone would want to do one for it..

ReplyDeleteI thought about that Luke, the problem is that the show is ending this Season and by the time we get this all up and running we;ll have had 4-5 episodes already. Also most smallville fans already have their "homes" on the net after 9 seasons and we just don't get that huge amount of traffc for Smallville compared to other shows

ReplyDeleteThere are some people who only follow 1 or 2 shows and tend to avoid
the main account because it has a lot of info about shows they are not
interested in and "clogs" up their stream.
See this is silly.... the only way id unfollow the spoilertv twitter feed is if all the shows i watch have their own feeds... it is only good for the people that watch/interested in spoilers for a couple of shows that happen to be the ones that are picked.

ReplyDeletei love NCIS and was about to vote for it (on the basis of show love) then realised i don't really look for their spoilers, somehow imo its not a very spoilery show. probably because the plot is not as continuous as others.
What about a twitter for the 3 CSI shows.
