Get ready. The show with some of the best twists—and sexiest cast—around is serving up a jaw-dropper you fans won't want to miss.
No, not $#*! My Dad Says, silly! We're talking about the CW's über-addictive The Vampire Diaries, and this particular twist means that a certain actor is leaving the series...
According to reliable sources, The Vampire Diaries will be killing off one of its characters. And it won't be the Jeremy-got-his-neck-snapped-but-was-wearing-a-magic-ring kind of death. This one will be for good. The character will be no more. And the actor will no longer be working on the show.
That's all we can reveal because we don't have our own magic ring, but suffice to say it will be some TV that is dipped in all kinds of awesome—even though the actor will certainly be missed.
So who is it? Guesses?

ReplyDeleteNoo, it can't be Caroline! That's exactly what they did with Vicki Donovan, and i don't think that producers will repeat the history. They can do better!

ReplyDeleteActually, if it's going to be tomorrow night, it's most likely going to be Mason. In the promo he's chained to a chair and I think Damon is trying to convince Bonnie to kill him. The article said the actor will be missed, implying that it's someone who's been around for a while, but E! Online has been wrong before.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of any female characters likely to go and have it be surprising, but where the guys are concerned, I have to guess Mason, Matt (Katherine did threaten him), or maybe Alaric now that someone mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteWell, if Jenna does die (which I actually doubt), then it'll be the perfect excuse to bring Uncle John back on the show!
ReplyDeleteBut my money's on Mason or Matt. Mason, well because Katherine will kill him the moment she doesn't need him, and Matt because, well, he isn't needed anymore. Besides, one of the future press releases mentions that Matt and Tyler start drinking at the party and it goes horribly wrong. Tyler+Matt+drinking+werewolf curse= death
I like the Sheriff. Besides, she's a council member and Caroline's mom. She's woven well into the fabric of the show.
ReplyDeleteThat would be an interesting twist. Tyler has to kill someone soon or the werewolf plotline will get stale really fast. I wonder if killing his mother (or this mystery character) is how he brings about his curse?

ReplyDeleteEvery case worker has a supervisor so glamoring is just a temporary fix. There'd always be someone else to deal with. Honestly, it would probably be less of a hassle just to try and apply for guardianship. It would be weird and awkward but doable.

ReplyDeleteHe wouldn't have to glamour everybody. Just person, who decides about everything. And besides it's Damon. He can glamour whoever he wants and I think he wuldn't let anybody to put her in orphanage or foster care. Actually he could glamour them, so they would make him or Stefan Elena's foster family

ReplyDeleteWhen Caroline became a vampire, I was hoping it would go in a different direction than it has. I figured that all the one-on-one time Caroline and Stefan spent teaching her to control her abilities and urges would bring them closer and develop some sort of triangle but the focus has mainly been on how becoming a vampire has changed the relationship with Caroline and her mother.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's probably Matt IMO, because if they kill him, then Caroline can go mad..really mad and be Katherine's real ally, because probably Damon or Stefan will have something to with his death. That's my theory, but I can imagine that it's gonna be Jenna...

ReplyDeleteI can only wish they'd eradicate all werewolves from the show but that probably won't happen.
ReplyDeleteWhen something like this comes up, I always think it's Jenna but, if you think about it, it CAN'T be Jenna. Jenna is the sole means of support for two minor children. If there's no Jenna there's no way for the kids to make it on their own (legally) and DCFS gets involved. Elena and her brother are then removed from their home and become foster kids.
My guess is that it's probably Matt or Mason.
There may be two people on target to kill off someone. Obviously, Katherine's after blood but I also think Tyler is set to take a life in order to trigger his curse. I think Caroline, Matt, Mason, Jenna, the Sheriff, Tyler's mother, and Alaric are all vulnerable at this point. The only characters clearly safe on the show are Elena/Katherine, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Tyler, and Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteI'll be someone close to Elena, You can see it in the preview. The moment I saw Elena crying in Jeremy's arms and him saying to her: I don't know how but she's gonna pay for this, Elena" I knew somenone is going to die and I'm 90% sure it will be someone close to Elena. So it will be Jenna, Matt, Bonnie or Caroline. It can't be Taylor because the have to big storyline for him during this season, Mason either because Elena wouldn't definately be crying after his death. I don;t think she would also cry after Alaric's death. They killed people that weren't so important to the show in season finale so they aren't going to do that now. This time it'll be somebody very important so mrs. locwood, caorline's mother will survive. Honestly i' ll be really happy if Bonnie dies because she is so annoying and i hate how she treats Damon. But as we can read in recent spoilers they have for her also a new storyline so she's not going to leave the show. And besides she's the only witch on this show. It won't make any sense if they kill her. Anyway watch promo once again.

ReplyDeletei think its gonna be either jenna, matt, mason or caroline... i dont think its gonna be Alaric, afterall he has a ring too so if someone killed him he would survive... unless is katherine the one responsible for the death, in that case she could easily take the ring off and i just realize im rambling lol...

I hate to say it but feel like Alaric's plotline has been fulfilled.
Other than being a human who doesn't know what's going on, Matt doesn't really bring much to the table plot-wise anymore---he no longer has anything with Elena and Caroline and his relationship is over.
Mason's a simple kill...because then it shows that Katherine is serious---nothing like killing someone you were sleeping with 5 seconds ago---but it's also too easy.
Of course! I agree with you on Mason ;) I think he has his role at this moment, but as soon as he's done with it - he's a goner.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I think it's def. gnna be Matt, which makes me rlly sad for Caroline.. unless, it IS Caroline, which makes me really sad for me.. lol
Jenna, Mason, or Matt... Most likely Mason, least likely Matt. Jenna shouldn't be killed... that would leave the issue of Elena and Jeremy's guardianship up in the air. Unless Alaric adopts them or something...

ReplyDeleteIf it's Jenna then they are running out of legal guardians. They should get rid of the Sheriff. She's useless unless they are having Damon play her. I would love to see her gone.

ReplyDeleteActually when I think about it that would be the most likely and most tragic outcome:
ReplyDelete- Matt dies.
- Tyler looses his "humanity".
- Caroline most likely also goes away from her own human side deeper into the vampire-existence, considering there WERE three factors holding her close to humanity - her mother, her best friend and her love. Her mother already hates what she became and her best friend, Bonnie, is ready to kill her without hesitation. Now if Matt dies, there's nothing actually tieing Caroline into the human-existence.
Actually ... my bet is that Matt will die. But Caroline won't kill him directly. Most likely that will be how Tyler will trigger the curse.

Jenna, Matt or maybe Caroline. Agreed. It has to be someone close to her, but also someone that mattered to Jeremy to vow that kind of vengence. Tyler?
Bonnie said she'd despell the ring if she hurt anyone again. Not that she'd kill her outright.
