Neil & his partner How I Met Your Mother Co-Star David Burtka who played Scooter. Named their proud newborns Gideon Scott & Harper Grace who were born on the 12th of October. No mention on whether they were adopted or born via surrogacy. Neil & David would like to remain this as a secret.

Here's the official announcement by Neil on his Twitter Page:
Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey.

Harper is another name for well known author Harper Lee who wrote To Kill A Mockingbird. Also, Australian Actress, Singer & So You Think You Can Dance Australia host Natalie Bassingthwaighte named her daughter Harper as well a couple of months ago.

    Those names are freaking adorable!!! Congrats to them!

    (As a side note, it's great to see a celebrity give their kids a normal name. None of this Apple, Kal-el, Sailer or Tabooger stuff.)

    They were born via surrogate. I watched Neil Patrick Harris' interview with Kevin Pollack a couple of months ago, and he was discussing (albeit very vaguely) the surrogate mother.
