Syfy Orders New Battlestar Galactica - Blood and Chrome
Oct 22, 2010
Pilot ShowsThanks to ManWithSword for the following.
Syfy had been discussing with Ron D Moore, the creation of a BSG spin off movie, to be shown as 10 or so webisodes. It looks, though, as if Syfy have decided to make Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, into a full blown pilot. It will be set ten years into the first Cylon War, and center around the 20 year old William Adama assigned to the newly built Galactica. Sounds fracking amazing :)

I'm not sure if I should be bouncing off the walls in excitement or not.... This sounds like its straddling the wall between "really terrible" and "frakking awesome!"...
ReplyDeleteProbably not, just pair it with Caprica.
ReplyDeleteAwsome! I hope they cast Nico Cortez again! I really enjoyed his portral of young "Husker" in the Razor flashbacks!
ReplyDeleteMmh, I don't think this is an good idea. Blood and Chrome stuck between two great series which basicly will/have told and shown most of that period already (specially the last season of Caprica).

Syfy...slow the frak down.
ReplyDeleteNever watched a single episode of BSG but I've heard good things and I hope this lives up to the expectation of the fans. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't mean they'll cancel Caprica.
ReplyDeleteSo there isn't 10 webisodes, but a full blown pilot.. thats awesome :)
