Call me impatient (cuz I am) but I was hoping to hear these great mysteries before going on hiatus again. This reminds me of the long draw out in season 2. Still, I will be fine if we find out why Sam is not Sam before the hiatus.
It would be funny if they pulled a Buffy and they got all worried about a dragon and how to slay it but it turned out to be thigh-high. I wouldn't put any monster or crazy idea past the Supernatural writing crew. Perhaps they could get trapped in a Trickster comic book world and we'd get an animated Supernatural complete with fantasy creatures. Maybe we would find the truth about unicorns if they did.
They (Sera & Co) sure know how to tease the fans, right? I think they've paced it just right - everyone's more than ready for a dose of the truth this week, and then Sam's experience in the cage in episode 10, now this. Perfection!
I loved that movie! From what I've heard, it'll be showcasing what they went through apart, which will reiterate why their better together. I'm loving the slow reveal of what happened, the little hints along the way. If they just came out and told us what happened to Sam without this slow build it wouldn't have as much impact. So looking forward to unravelling the mystery bit by bit. This ep will probably throw quite a bit of light on what's been going on.
True.... :/ But even if they did have a high enough budget to bring in dragons. Can you really see Sam and Dean slaying a dragon in Supernatural? It'll be funny if not ridiculous.
Not Sam in the cage, it's about Sam during his year after the cage, I think we've supposed to find out what happened to Sam in the cage in episode 10 or so both Sera Gamble and Jared have suggested. As for Dean's year without Sam we have seen Dean in his normal life at the beginning of the season and we have been told what the year was really like for Dean by Dean himself. I think the episode is supposed to be more about Sam during that year, hooking up with the Campbell's (though Jared said that wasn't the main focus) and avoiding Dean while keeping an eye on him. We'll probably see Sam seeing Dean living the happy life he believed him to be living but on the flip side see Dean drinking, having nightmares, trying to save Sam and having trouble adjusting-all the stuff Sam didn't see.
I just hope it focuses more on what Sam did rather than Dean, we've already got a pretty good idea of what Dean's life was like during that year. What I really want to see is the immediate aftermath of Sam's return from the cage, him going to Bobby and him coming to the decision not to tell Dean he was back. Now that would be a great episode.
Either way Jared sounded really excited about this episode when he spoke of it, so hopefully it'll be good even if we will have to wait till after the very long hellatus to see it.
'This episode is the one where we find out about what the boys got up to in the year they were apart according to Jared' I thought that was episode 11?
This is going to be a fantastic episode! Haven't we all wondered exactly what happened while Sam was in the cage and Dean was with Lisa and Ben? I guess it is going to be a good while before we see this one, but I hope we have some answers about Sam before then. Awesome news!
Haha love the title. The movie was good too :P So this is gonna be about their year apart?
I'll really love to see Dean and Sam slay a dragon but I don't think there are ever going to bring dragons into Supernatural. Unless..... Tinkerbell came and zapped them to fairyland....... still don't see that happening. Damn it :P
This episode is the one where we find out about what the boys got up to in the year they were apart according to Jared. We'll see Sam spending the year avoiding Dean and I'm guessing we'll see Dean adjusting to normal life while grieving, drinking, researching a way to find Sam-basically the not so step-ford version of Dean's life with Lisa and Ben, he did after all say he'd been miserable that year?
I'm torn with this. xD While I know it's probably not going to actually have a dragon in it I'm caught somewhere between "OMG! An effing dragon!!! =D" and "Wait, dragons don't really fit into the "Supernatural" mythology..."
I've got a vivid imagination. Lol If they can pull off an suicidal Teddy Bear with an identity crisis why not a dragon who has a size complex or is afraid of fire. ;D I love funny if not ridiculous.
I thought that was episode 11, too bad... I really wanted a dragon. With all the monsters acting weird, a dragon could have been a great idea for a funny episode! And every time I hear about a dragon, I always think about the 'Angel' finale...
OMGG YEAAAH. GABRIEL!! :D Damn. I miss him in the show. I bet John killed all the unicorns because he didn't like them :P
Haha that'll be awesome if it had a size complex or is scared of breathing fire. I was watching Alice in Wonderland when I was typing in my comment and I was at the end where she killed the monster with the sword or something. Dean and Sam with a sword and armour slaying a dragon in a sort of fairyland popped into my head right then and believe me, it was kinda weird :P
Now that I'm not watching Alice in Wonderland, I think a dragon would be awesome in Supernatural :P
That was what Jared and Sera both said in interviews at the beginning of the season but that doesn't mean it'll actually happen? I'm just going on what they've said.
Well there are Dragons in the Supernatural universe according to the Supernatural novel "Nevermore" It talked about how the boys' dad slayed a small dragon in chinatown or someplace rather
at jims twitter he said : "I just got the script for episode 12. Boy, are some people going to be surprised!" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ?!?!?! Ö__Ö Im excited bout this.
i dont think its death. imdb stated that our good friend Lindsey McKeon, who played the reaper Tessa, will be making an appearance, as well as Robert Englund, the original Freddy Krueger
This isn't the title anymore. According to a new TV Guide article it's going to be called "Like A Virgin" I figured the change is because the reference to the movie How To Train Your Dragon is a little too new and might have come under some copyright issues.

ReplyDeleteNope. Episode 11 is Appointment in Samarra. That's the episode everyone is believing that Death will make an appearance in.

That would be such an awesome episode! But as you say, not possible on Supernatural's budget *sigh*
ReplyDelete'This episode is the one where we find out about what the boys got up to in the year they were apart according to Jared'
ReplyDeleteI thought that was episode 11?
That would be so awesome. Just imagine Misha and Craig talking! Lol
ReplyDeleteOnly Supernatural manages to give me the giggles with their titles. Seriously, a dragon? I wonder if it's gonna be a small lizard with delusions. Lol
ReplyDeletewel...at least it isn't "how to drain your lizard"
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome title.
ReplyDeleteAlthough now I am craving a dragon slaying via woodchipper. :(

ReplyDeleteEpisode 12 is titled Like a Virgin, not how to slay a dragon.
