i totally remember that, in one episode, Cas said to Dean that Sam would have to drink enough blood to be Lucifers vessel that it would change him forever. Maybe the blood really did change him. Even if thats not where they go w/ the storyline, im still freaking anxious to see this episode and I wanna know whats gonna happen
I don't think it's the demon blood. I think he simply has no soul and thus no emotions. I think he's playing pretend just like highly functioning sociopaths do. He knows what emotions he should imitate but sometimes, he just doesn't get it right.
I don't think it has something to do with Lucifer or whatever, I mean, they said that storyline was definitely over, so why bring it back up? The huge amount of demon blood he drank could indeed be the case of his weird behaviour. I'm still waiting for the moment that Sammy finally cracks, maybe even a mental breakdown, and the brothers can finally get close again. Or perhaps Sam has this big secret which he can't and won't share with anybody and maybe that's why he's keeping his distance from anyone he (should) cares about. Anyway, its time to get some answers, cause so far, this Supernatural season hasn't been all satisfying for me. There were some good episodes, and some less good. I do like the sound of this one, hope my expectations aren't too high..
No i don't think so, Dean is aware but isn't quite sure how to approach it. Sam keeps assuring Dean he's alright and until Live Free or Twihard, he did have anything substantial to really build his case on.
And Skin was different, Dean literally was not Dean. In this case, it is Sam, just a messed up version.
CAS! Yay lol. I really don't think its Demon Blood again, I think it might just be left over from drinking so much to take Luci in (remember they all said it'd change him?). So while he isn't drinking it now, its still left over from before.
Yeah but asking him if he's ok is a load of crock, that's not dealing with him like Dean used to have past season Dean would have realized immediately his bro wasn't his bro. Dean's ignoring of Sam and just kind of being all 'oh he doesn't want to talk fine' and not pushing it and NOW at episode six he decides to finally confront it. Ridiculous in my opinion, if that was my sister i'd not have let up since episode one.
I don't think he's a demon. He still has that 'anti-possession' tatoo on his chest and we saw him 'test' himself by drinking holy water and cutting himself with silver to proof to Dean it was really human Sam who was back.
I'm a bit nervous about that line too because it is the same line he used to justify drinking demon blood and we all know how that turned out. I would hope that Sam has learned from the past. I think he is being controlled by an Alpha, but only some of the time. It fits into the mytharc, explains why he is so close all of a sudden to the CSA, and why we get glimmers of Sam in between the coldness. I'm probably wrong but I like this theory better than Post-Traumatic Hell Syndrome or Lucifer round 2. Plus there has to be a tie in to what Sam is planning and what Grandpa Creepy and the CSK are doing. Else the CSA is a huge red herring and a waste of time. We need to get at least some answers in this episode. If not, they are in danger of losing focus like LOST and The X-Files did and it will answer the question of whether they do in fact have a concise plan for this season.
I don't know if it's demon blood or lack of a soul, or what is wrong with Sam but I think you're right: he does seem to be just going through the motions - there IS no genuine emotion from Sam. And it's WAY scary.
I actually can't believe the brothers are so distant emotionally that it's took Dean six episodes to realise that's not Sam, I mean Sam knew in like one minute in Skin. I miss their bond epically.
Sam leaping over the fence like that? he may be Sam but me thinks he got a little extra something something going on. Maybe it's all that demon blood in SS, Cas did say it would change him?
I'm loving the whole Sam mystery this season, but it's time for some answers.
I think Dean has realised and been really worried at least since episode two - he's asked Sam several times if he's okay and gotten nowhere. He tried to talk to Bobby in WAB, but got a verbal ass kicking instead (along with Sam). In LFoT things have finally reached crisis point. He knows Sam stood and watched the vamp turn him, so he has proof that something is seriously wrong. Hopefully You Can't Handle the Truth will answer some questions, although it looks like it's going to be a rough ride.
"I am a better hunter then I've ever been" - Oh God,not again with the demon blood story -.- Or maybe it's vampire thing now, since he's really obsessed by them. I'm sick of this Sam, and the smirk in the previous episode? Seriously, he's scaring a crap out of me. But since I smell lots of angst, hurt, sadness and stuff coming with this storyline, I LIKE :D
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope Sam hasn't returned as a demon... that would actually explain everything :/
ReplyDeleteI Agree!!
ReplyDeleteIKR!! Can't wait for some answers.

ReplyDeleteHehe... I actually like Sam on demon blood. I guess I'm just into guys with superpowers ^^,
ReplyDeletei agree with u .
ReplyDeleteI agree, and the way he beheaded that vamp tonight - man he was almost too fast.
