What I really want to see is the 'new' Sams reaction to vampire Dean. I mean, they usually kill those turned but old Sam, like Dean would never accept that when it's the brother that's damned. But new Sam? He either will be all "We'll find another way without killing you", like he used to be, or "Well, it sucks ass but c'est la vie... Which would really, really mark the 'new' Sam as totally twisted from what he was. Could help speed the plot along, though...
I don't really think Sam would ever consent to killing his own brother, no matter what. I think that the 'new' Sam is just Sam's reaction to hell. Remember he acted like this in Mystery Spot where Dean was 'dead' for 6 months and Sam went crazy trying to avenge his death. So I don't think Sam would ever do that. That's just my theory though.
Lisa is not going to die-I believe she is in episode 6 and I'm still sticking by my theory on that being the last time we'll see her and Ben, episode 5 will be the beginning of the end for that storyline. Heres hoping anyway. I find it interesting how the writers seem to be cluing Lisa in on the reality of Dean's life (hunting, danger, monsters) via Dean directly, clever move writers.
I too want to see new Sam's reaction to vamp-Dean. I think he might really struggle with what to do-on one hand new Sam is all business and a monster is monster whether it be wearing your brothers face or not, no more shades of grey for Sammy. On the other hand Dean is his brother and Sam is still Sam underneath all those walls and whatever else is going on with him. I imagine he'll be torn and I doubt Samuel will be making it any easier on him.
i agree with you Lisa will be Last Appear at episode 6 and we will not be seeing her again any time soon i think vamp Dean looks hotttttttt and soo bad asssssssss lol can't w8 for that ep
This is awesome, always wanted to see Jensen as a Vamp whatever it was in but Supernatural, ooh yeah :)
I was thinking though about people moaning that its about Dean but I think its good that Dean is the vampire because maybe he will finally understand what poor Sam was going through in his demon blood drinking days!!!
Don't you think that would be a bit too soon? they could get so many more awesome *cough* angst *cough* scenes if they kept Lisa alive a little while longer.
Woah, hold up. Dean becomes a vampire in this episode? Wow, that's going to be one intense storyline, especially since now Dean is going to be able to see things from a monster's perspective. I can't wait to watch!!
I think it had to be Dean becoming the vampire, because 1) the way Sam's been acting, would anyone even notice? and 2) Sam will have to actually feel something. I don't want to believe there could be a Sam that could watch his brother fight something like that and do nothing to help him.
I was expecting this ep to be lighter and more meta -- poking fun at Twilight, True Blood, VD and all the 'vampire's-in-lust crap that's floating around, but it looks like it will take that Supernatural twist and go pretty dark and raise a lot of questions as to whether all monsters are evil or maybe some are just victims. Looks fantastic!
I got really excited and nervous when I saw Ben. I thought this was going to be a Lisa only episode. This raises the stakes a lot higher. If Dean attacks Ben as a vampire, it will be very hard for Lisa and Dean's arrangement to continue. Dean's guilt and need to protect his family will get in the way and things might finally be too serious for Lisa. I hope this isn't the end of Lisa and Ben in season 6. I really like them and think they add another dimension to the plot.
I don't think it will be too hard for Sam to decide because Grandpa Creepy has the recipe to devamp Dean. Devamp your brother so he is not a monster or kill him because he is one. Not a hard choice. I think the real problem will be tracking Dean down after he vamps. Still, even without the magical devamping cure, I don't think Sam would ever be black and white about killing Dean. No matter how much he has changed, Dean is still his real family and Sam knows that. Sam wouldn't have been so desperate to have Dean join him if he were that clinical about hunting.
My two biggest concerns about this episode is Sam using Lisa and Ben as bait (which would make his new persona suck further) and the inevitable Dean guilt over attacking his family. I love you Dean but I'm tired of the never ending guilt track. Can't you just have fun once and awhile.
I thought it was going to be a comedy episode too but not from the previews. Maybe it's high comedy in the beginning with all the Twilight-mocking but then when Dean gets turned, the tone turns too. I agree that Sam will have to react and that will be a good thing for the show. Hopefully this and the truth stick will be the catalyst to get Sam's story kickstarted. Another reason why it had to be Dean is the Lisa and Ben angle. Who would Sam attack..the prostitute? The only way to ratchet up a vamped Sam would be for him to attack Dean, which would hardly help in getting our Sam back. I don't like the fact that it's Dean being taken down AGAIN but it's better than Sam at this time.
Don't want to start anything here but I don't think we can "Poor Sam" about the drinking demon blood because he chose to do it. Dean did not choose to be a vampire. If we are going to Poor Sam, it's got to be that he got screwed by "destiny" and that his mom traded his life for his dad's. Destined to be Satan's play toy is bad enough, but knowing that all the screwed up things that happened in your life are because your mom, who knew better, decided to make a deal with a demon so she wouldn't be lonely just sucks out loud. I hope at some point the show deals with this because they have never addressed the fact that this whole thing is Mary's fault. Sam has to feel some kind of betrayal from this.
Way too soon for Lisa to die. In fact, I'm hoping she shows up periodically through both season 6 and 7. Then when the show ends at season 7, I'm hoping that Dean moves back in with Lisa and Ben, while Sam moves down the street with um, future Mrs. Sam whom we meet a couple of times in season 7 Or Sara from Provenance who is still my favorite Sam girlfriend. There they are similar to the Barone family minus the annoying in-laws (Grandpa Creepy you are NOT invited ever) except that they hunt things on the weekends and some weeknights and generally make the most awesome Neighborhood Watch ever. That's my ending. I'm sticking to it and when they kill Lisa off I'm shutting my eyes and plugging my ears while I chant "Na, na, na, na, I can't hear you!"
I am super-angry at the fact that Dean turns into a vampire. ANGRY LIKE NEVER BEFORE! I'm seriously considering not watching the episode (but I will anyway). I'm hoping with all my heart that some angel, demon or monster cures him or that the whole episode is merely someone's dream.
Yeah, I can see it starting out a comedy because let's face it, Dean and Twilight type vamps? Really? Douchebags. :) If Dean is turned, I'm trying to figure out why he'd go anywhere near Lisa and Ben. Really intrigued to find out what could make him put them in danger like that. I think Dean is taken down more because he's always been the one who puts himself out there more. He's always been the one giving his all even when he knew it was suicidal. He acts first, thinks later. Sam has always been more pragmatic and thought first, so not in the frying pan as much. My question is, once he realized Dean is infected, is it Sam that asks for Samuel's help? Or does Gpa Creepy offer it? After all, Dean is his grandson -- and reminds him of his own daughter. Maybe he does feel something for him. And maybe this danger to his brother is how Sam gets back to dealing with his own feelings.
I'm guessing they are going to a traditional vampires always go back to the ones they love first idea. This would lead Dean to Sam first but he is with him when he turns so its Lisa and Ben next. I hope Gramps gets involved because Sam calls him because if not it means he is in the whole episode or even more creepy, he's got eyes and ears on Dean and Sam when they are not with him.
I'm thinking this is Sam's 'turning point' - being in the same situation that Dean has found himself in before - having to choose between keeping his brother alive or killing the monster he's become. I'm hoping this will jolt him out of the cold detachment we've seen so far this season - or at least be the beginning of it. I think the comedy will be there - just perhaps a heavier dose of the dark stuff than we anticipated from previous spoilers for this ep. Hoping that we're not supposed to suddenly accept Gpa Creepy because he's able to de-vamp Dean. At this point nothing could change may feelings toward him. I'm so excited about the whole season now - each episode is getting better and better.
I'm hoping this will start Sam's 'turning point'. I still think there is something tangibly wrong with him, tho -- like part of his soul is still in the cage. His 'a deal is a deal' quote last night stuck with me and I think it wasn't just an off handed remark. I think it actually means something. We'll see.
And yeah, I'm looking forward to each ep more and more! Don;t know how some ppl can moan about this season being bad. So far, I'm fully invested and getting further in!
Me too. Gosh I love them. AH! Damn I wanna see this episode RIGHT NOW! Men, I love that show ahahah. Im doing a marathon of season 3 and 4 right now gosh its good.
I would think that Grandpa Creepy being able to devamp someone would make people more suspicious instead of less. Where did such knowledge come from? Why has he kept it to himself?
And besides, he's playing with the goddess of truth a week later and obviously not a vamp, so no worries. I think Dean getting turned is a great idea - I mean how often can these guys go up against baddies and never lose? They've had darn impressive odds so far, but let's face it, once in a while, the monster is going to win. So having Dean turn is conceivably practical, and they will get him back because... it's Dean. So, it'll all be fine in Supernatural TVland.... well, as fine as Supernatural TVland ever gets.:)
Yeah I agree, there's something more than just a hell-hangover wrong with Sam. Surely if Crowley is king of hell he must have some notion of how Sam got out?
Absolutely - I think Dean's more likely to dislike/distrust him even more - also Dean doesn't appreciate being indebted to ANYONE - so he'll hate that he owes Grandpa for saving him. Be interesting to see what Grandpa wants in return - I can't see him doing something for nothing.
I think Jensen will be fabulous as always. I love the idea of seeing him portray a monster. Jared has done so demon possessed and possessed by Satan and was fabulous playing evil. We know that Dean is usually the good guy, to see him fight the evil that has him ought to be some great scenes. No pun intended, but something for Jensen to sink his teeth into. lol
Jensen had Twilight down pat at the Comic Con. Be honest, guys. Edward is fugly. Look at Dean and how can you compare. Look at Sam with his shirt off and how can you compare. Edward is nothing compared to the Winchester brothers.
Yeah but look how quick they ousted Jessica. Sam has lost more girls. It may be Dean's turn this season. I hate to think it. My first two fan fictions had Dean crazy for Lisa and the second one he married her.
I want to know if the blood lust will make him realize what Sam went through. It would make for some serious angst on Dean's part with Sam behaving like he is.
It will have its moments I think. I saw an outtake of Dean and Sam in a gaudy decorated room and the door closed. Not one hundred percent sure but I could swear there was a lifesize poster of Edward Cullen on the door. Dean was saying about douchebags. lol
'Sink his teeth into' ha! I think you're right - off the top of my head the only time I can remember Dean looking really scary before was in Skin when he was the shape shifter and not really Dean anyway.
The scariest Dean has ever looked to me was shortly after his dad's death when he sawed that vamp's head off and was covered in his blood. The second scariest was when he was torturing Meg. I don't think Dean needs to be a monster to be scary. Intense!Dean can be plenty scary enough on his own. He was scary in Skin too - don't get me wrong - but more so when he was himself.
Most importantly, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki can act. Not something I can say about Robert Pattison. And I thought that when I saw him in Harry Potter before he was cast as Edward.
I thought they were definitely signed through season 7 but have not decided/been offered for season 8. My thought is that since they got married they would not want to work so many hours, especially if wanting to start a family. Plus I know they have both been interested in movies but don't have much of a chance given their tight shooting schedule for SPN.
Yeah - I'm an old lady who shouldn't even be noticing (I'm old enough to be their mother) - but boy do I notice ! (I'm old, not dead!) Of course my MAIN interest is in the show itself but as I said - one can't help noticing.... And as Dahne1 says: they can act.
All I am finding is that J2 are contracted through a sixth season; I do not know where I got a seventh season contract from. If that is the case, we should all really enjoy this season because I do not see the CW giving anyone a pay raise so contract negotiations are likely to break down. Regardless of the future, I am just happy that they have given us so much entertainment so far.
I seem to recall seeing something on the Superwiki site - in their new blog - it was entitled something about Good Omens for a 7th Season (or similar) and it said the boys were up for a 7th season.
Yeah I just checked and it says Jensen confirmed at the Vancouver Con that he and Jared had renewed their contracts for a 7th year
I agree. Dean's already suspicious of Gpa Creepy and the CSA, being beholding to them for saving his life won't help the situation any. And yeah, why would Gpa save Dean. The goodness of his heart? Family? I doubt if Dean would buy either of those reasons. He needs the boys for something, I just haven't figured out what it is yet.
unfortunately i agree, LOL. and if lisa died and added guilty dean to the list of emotions already building up, it'll just become too crowded.
your ideal ending is actually really really awesome. it would be the perfect light (and fun-ish) ending to a hardcore emotional 7/8 years.
but thinking about it made me consider if i'd want sam and dean to just be bros and drive off on the long winding road like in route 666 in the metallicar to more fun supernatural adventures (naturally with back in black playing because its totally important to supernatural, just like carry on my wayward son). this was my ideal ending back in the day before lisa came in and i haven't considered my ideal ending ever since her appearance (i know, i'm a bad fan XD).
ANYWAY. this made me really miss the semi-subtle gay jokes directed at sam and dean. like in the bugs episode in season one when they were "house hunting" and they kept saying how their nighbourhood accepted homeowners of all sexual orientation, and dean slapped sam's ass. oh LOL, good times.
Interesting thought but I doubt they will adress it. Concerning Sam, I think they will focus on if this changed Sam will consider killing Dean or if there is still some kind of emotional attachement left in him. I think Dean will primarily angst about being a monster, killing people and being a danger for Lisa and Ben.
wowowo... Who said only 7 season ahaha. Keep them comming. ahaha
I like your little senario, though I want Sam to keep hunting and Dean to stay with Lisa. I read a fanfic where Sara became a hunter after Sam left I thought that was awesome hehe. They could be hunting together what ever haaha.
I just love vampire Dean! He can be creepy and sweet at the same time!! :D:D The thing that i want to know most is how sam is going to act about this situation. his brother is a monster and normally he has to kill him but Dean is his brother and he have to care about that. He have to feel something or do something for his brother. I hope we can see some real brotherly moments. CAN'T WAİT until next week!!!
That's a really good point. Crowley has to know something... of course, on the other hand, no demon seemed to know it was an angel that rescued Dean from Hell, so maybe the grapevine doesn't work so well in the Pit and Crowley has no idea. Still, I like that he might and is keeping it to himself. Gives the writers a good way to fold him back into the plot since his connection with Bobby's soul is done. I like Crowley (in a disturbing kind of way, I guess) so I want him to stay involved.
GPa got his own agenda, he needs the ALPHA VAMP to be able to cure Dean hence the reason Dean is infiltrating the nest. Gramps cures Dean and he gets his alpha.
I was surprised by his acting in Twilight. I expected it to be better after his performance in Harry Potter which was actually quite good.
And as you said, Jensen and Jared can really act not to mention they are way more good looking than Robert Pattinson. He can't even compare in any way.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
#supernatural Man, the promo for 605 looks AMAZING!
ReplyDeletePlease don't kill Lisa!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Dean looks SCARY.
ReplyDeletethe promo looks awesome!
ReplyDelete"of all the ways to die, i never thought i'd go out this way" hahaha
Team Edward? PLEASE Team Winchester all the way LOL
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE FUDGE?!?!?!?!?!?! Dean turns into a fudging vampire?!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeletebut you have to admit, if dean kills lisa, it'll make for some very good emotional scenes since he can't forgive himself
ReplyDeletei almost want her to die >____<
Hyperventilating !!!! I LOVE angry/badass Dean even if he's a vampire. :)
ReplyDeleteHow am I gonna survive this week???
What I really want to see is the 'new' Sams reaction to vampire Dean. I mean, they usually kill those turned but old Sam, like Dean would never accept that when it's the brother that's damned. But new Sam? He either will be all "We'll find another way without killing you", like he used to be, or "Well, it sucks ass but c'est la vie... Which would really, really mark the 'new' Sam as totally twisted from what he was. Could help speed the plot along, though...
ReplyDeleteDean is really scary in here. Looks like it has some great emotional stuff too. The promo looks absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteI don't really think Sam would ever consent to killing his own brother, no matter what. I think that the 'new' Sam is just Sam's reaction to hell. Remember he acted like this in Mystery Spot where Dean was 'dead' for 6 months and Sam went crazy trying to avenge his death. So I don't think Sam would ever do that. That's just my theory though.

I imagine he'll be torn and I doubt Samuel will be making it any easier on him.
i agree with you
ReplyDeleteLisa will be Last Appear at episode 6
and we will not be seeing her again any time soon
i think vamp Dean looks hotttttttt and soo bad asssssssss lol
can't w8 for that ep
This is awesome, always wanted to see Jensen as a Vamp whatever it was in but Supernatural, ooh yeah :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking though about people moaning that its about Dean but I think its good that Dean is the vampire because maybe he will finally understand what poor Sam was going through in his demon blood drinking days!!!
I love this show and both actors :)
Vampire Dean just friggin` awesome ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for this episode since ComicCon! :D
ReplyDeleteYes, but scary just got very sexy! ;D Sorry, but I'm having a serious fangirl moment because of badass vampire!Dean!
ReplyDeleteDon't you think that would be a bit too soon? they could get so many more awesome *cough* angst *cough* scenes if they kept Lisa alive a little while longer.
ReplyDeleteI like Lisa, I hope they don't kill her in this episode, I wanna keep her a little whiler longer.
ReplyDeleteoh god, poor poor Dean! I feel bad for you!
ReplyDeletei don't think Sam want to kill his brother either but i do really want to see sam's reaction. i don't have any guess about this right now
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, we could see how Sam IS REACTING FOR A CHANGE! And it is about Dean! I like this! Thanks for posting, I didn`t thought so far!
ReplyDeleteWoah, hold up. Dean becomes a vampire in this episode? Wow, that's going to be one intense storyline, especially since now Dean is going to be able to see things from a monster's perspective. I can't wait to watch!!
ReplyDeleteShe wont die, what will they do with Ben? :DD And gosh I'm crazy about Lisa latly. Always liked her but now im like a lisa fan!
ReplyDeleteAHHAHA Watch the "fudge" ep yesterday hehehe :P
ReplyDeleteWe saw like 5 sec of Ben men I cant wait for this and the site not working for any one else or its just me?
ReplyDelete6DAYS 6 freaken long days!

The second scariest was when he was torturing Meg. I don't think Dean needs to be a monster to be scary. Intense!Dean can be plenty scary enough on his own. He was scary in Skin too - don't get me wrong - but more so when he was himself.
ReplyDeleteMost importantly, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki can act. Not something I can say about Robert Pattison. And I thought that when I saw him in Harry Potter before he was cast as Edward.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were definitely signed through season 7 but have not decided/been offered for season 8. My thought is that since they got married they would not want to work so many hours, especially if wanting to start a family. Plus I know they have both been interested in movies but don't have much of a chance given their tight shooting schedule for SPN.
ReplyDeleteWhere are they posted? I love to check out new fanfic.
ReplyDeleteNow I think of it - when he was torturing Alaistair he was pretty scary too
ReplyDeleteWow, really?
ReplyDeleteCan I get a source on this one?
Yeah - I'm an old lady who shouldn't even be noticing (I'm old enough to be their mother) - but boy do I notice ! (I'm old, not dead!) Of course my MAIN interest is in the show itself but as I said - one can't help noticing.... And as Dahne1 says: they can act.
ReplyDeleteAll I am finding is that J2 are contracted through a sixth season; I do not know where I got a seventh season contract from. If that is the case, we should all really enjoy this season because I do not see the CW giving anyone a pay raise so contract negotiations are likely to break down. Regardless of the future, I am just happy that they have given us so much entertainment so far.
ReplyDeleteI seem to recall seeing something on the Superwiki site - in their new blog - it was entitled something about Good Omens for a 7th Season (or similar) and it said the boys were up for a 7th season.
ReplyDeleteYeah I just checked and it says Jensen confirmed at the Vancouver Con that he and Jared had renewed their contracts for a 7th year
Superwiki says yes they signed for a 7th season should one be offered
ReplyDeleteI agree.
ReplyDeleteunfortunately i agree, LOL. and if lisa died and added guilty dean to the list of emotions already building up, it'll just become too crowded.
ReplyDeleteyour ideal ending is actually really really awesome. it would be the perfect light (and fun-ish) ending to a hardcore emotional 7/8 years.
but thinking about it made me consider if i'd want sam and dean to just be bros and drive off on the long winding road like in route 666 in the metallicar to more fun supernatural adventures (naturally with back in black playing because its totally important to supernatural, just like carry on my wayward son). this was my ideal ending back in the day before lisa came in and i haven't considered my ideal ending ever since her appearance (i know, i'm a bad fan XD).
ANYWAY. this made me really miss the semi-subtle gay jokes directed at sam and dean. like in the bugs episode in season one when they were "house hunting" and they kept saying how their nighbourhood accepted homeowners of all sexual orientation, and dean slapped sam's ass. oh LOL, good times.
Dean is hot when he smacks Lisa to the wall. I smell some sex rather then killing.
ReplyDeleteReally? I'm ashamed of myself, I'm a huge Lisa fan and didn't notice it all. ;D
ReplyDeleteI agree but sadly he was no match for Alastair and turned from scary!Dean to hurt!Dean very soon. ;D
ReplyDeleteMen, I CANT stop watching this! Sneak peek please!! ho lla
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought but I doubt they will adress it. Concerning Sam, I think they will focus on if this changed Sam will consider killing Dean or if there is still some kind of emotional attachement left in him. I think Dean will primarily angst about being a monster, killing people and being a danger for Lisa and Ben.
ReplyDeletewowowo... Who said only 7 season ahaha. Keep them comming. ahaha
ReplyDeleteI like your little senario, though I want Sam to keep hunting and Dean to stay with Lisa. I read a fanfic where Sara became a hunter after Sam left I thought that was awesome hehe. They could be hunting together what ever haaha.
added: oh and YEAH LISA!!!
hahah yeah saw that. It,s not the good actor though, but it is meant to make us think its edward cullen on the poster haha
ReplyDeleteI just love vampire Dean!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good point.
ReplyDeleteWe'll also get to see the vampire Alpha - I have a strong feeling Sam/Dean is going to get the living crap beaten out of them.
ReplyDeleteAny one got that in slowmotion?? :DD
ReplyDeleteNobody but Supernatural can do vampires justice these days.
ReplyDeleteGPa got his own agenda, he needs the ALPHA VAMP to be able to cure Dean hence the reason Dean is infiltrating the nest. Gramps cures Dean and he gets his alpha.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised by his acting in Twilight. I expected it to be better after his performance in Harry Potter which was actually quite good.
ReplyDeleteAnd as you said, Jensen and Jared can really act not to mention they are way more good looking than Robert Pattinson. He can't even compare in any way.
So yes, TEAM WINCHESTER ALL THE WAY
Fantastic promo, but this episode should be next week, just in time for Halloween! Can't wait to see it either way!
ReplyDeleteMaybe episode 6.06 has some gory scenes as well or you save the vampire episode for Halloween, if you can wait an extra week Lol
