  1. 10 seasons is enough. Unless they can find a quality idea for a spinoff between now and the end of the season they should just let it ride off into the sunset.

  2. There should be an option for continuing it, but not as smallville, but as Superman (or some other more creative title)

  3. kinda depends on how this season closes but yes i would like a new season but it aint happenin

I think it would be good to watch him after he's superman with lois, but then again the actors are getting older and it makes sense. Also I understand that the whole thing with smallville is that its a superman origins thing so if it went on longer after that it would contradict itself, but I just got into the show and don't want it to end, though I know it should.

yes plz!!!! I would very much like it if they did like a Smallville: Epilouge which can be season 11!! Kinda showing the impact of clark becoming Superman!

  6. For the love of Krypton, NO MORE THAN 10.
I'm really sad it's ending after all these years, but I can't be bothered to go on another year. I mean, I've been devoted to this show for a decade...time to let go.

  7. an epic final 10th season is perfect for me, I don't think they can top it, and prolonging him becoming Superman even longer would suck.

  8. 10 years is ENOUGH. I'm surprised to see that so much people wants it to go in season 11. This season is good BEcause its the final and they know it. They know they can go epic cause they dont need an other story line for next year so the blur is going more and more in the superman direction

  9. i think it would be nice to see a season 11 with Tom as Superman and Erica as Lois, but then again Smallville is about Clark becoming Superman so if I think they ended season 10 with Tom in the suit and flying around I'd be happy.
maybe they could make another series with them but they are getting old and Tom has devoted 10 yrs of his life to the red, yellow, and blue.....
So no I don't want a season 11 becasuse that will just drag season 10 out and make it totally flop

  10. Oh, come one... every year is the last, and they do great until another season is anounced, when everything if screwed.

  11. a thousand times yes!!! I would love to see him as Superman for a year!

  12. Time to unclench people. As much as I'd like to see him as Superman for a season, the show needs to end at 10. It's time to move on and welcome new titles.

  13. Not unless he wears the cape during Season 11. I'm sick of them prolonging it... While a part of me can't believe that the show is coming to an end, I can't wait for the series finale when Clark finally dons the suit and flies. Now that's going to be epic!!

  14. I love Smallville sooo much, since the pilot, and never missed an episode. As much as I would love to see a season 11, I honestly don't think there'd be any point. If they renewed it, it be somewhat cool, but then again it wouldn't be the Smallville we all loved and grew up with. That would be a real downer, and Tom as well as the rest of the cast, is moving on, sadly it's time for us to move on too....sigh...Smallville u will be missed!!

  15. Proper Zod as in a really adult Zod like in Superman II, though we got that with Season 5 and the premiere of season 6 already...

Ur right about one thing: villains! No one in the dc comics that is at all connected to Superman can be a better villain then Darkseid and Lex and thats why they have them in the 10th and final season. I was actually thinking maybe Brainiac can return and start an army of villains of his own or something. But James Marsters might have a new show so i dont think so. Lobo- like i said cant really have anymore big baddies unless they do one of the big 5 again. (BIG 5- Lex, Darkseid, Brainiac, Zod, and Doomsday) Mongul actually wouldnt be so bad i just dont know how they would put him in live action unless they do the Doomsday thing again and have him only live in like 6 episodes. Checkmate wouldnt be a good longtime villain. who the hec is proper zod?
green arrow show sounds awsome! Like i said before.....SMALLVILLE: THE MOVIE!

  17. They would have to change the show dramatically. Probably not call it Smallville anymore. 10 series is probably enough but they could do an 11th of him in the suit. However I don't know who the big bad would be, once you get through Doomsday, Zod, Luthor and Darkseid you kinda have reached the natural end for the show.(comic nerd alert) Lobo, Mongul, they haven't done anything with but I dont see them as season long baddies. They can't really use superboy prime as that would open a whole can of multiverse worms. Checkmate? Proper Zod?

I guess the idea of seeing him fully transformed in a hypothetical season 11 would be a nice idea, however they are wrapping things up, with all the guest cameo's and I guess what will probably be the final scene, its probably time to move on. Sometimes when they do a last season type thing on us, its questionable about "one last one" I don't think that question is here at all really. A movie ain't going to happen with Welling in it, if a Nolan one is currently in production, Im afraid.

Still a Green Arrow series I could definitely see, if Hartley wanted to do it. With the justice league possibly? Have Tess Mercer and Diana Lance involved. Doubt we'd see Allison Mack in it. Which would probably disappoint Chlollie shippers, there could be a lot of storylines there, though. Maybe have Welling guest star on League episodes? You could even have Erica Durance there doing some special Daily Planet assignment... now Im getting too excited over a Green Arrow show... although he'd eventually have to grow that stupid beard, thats something I could live without.

  18. Hmm... If they wanted to do another season, I'm sure they could pull it off. The journey of a superhero is endless, so they certainly would have enough material to continue. The only thing which they couldn't do would be to strech out the storyline of Clark becoming Superman. If they would do a season 11, it must be with 'flights and tights'.

'Smallville' is not 'Heroes' which struggled to find itself after the first season and produced one failure over another. 'Smallville' knows what they're, knows their fans and knows what they can and can't do.

I'm not really a big fan of the show, so I don't really care if they continue or not but I think the biggest hurdle is going to be Tom Welling. I don't really see why he should want to continue. He got a new job with 'Hellcats' and he seems to like working behind the camera. He told the story of Clark Kent for ten years. Maybe he wants to move on. Ratingwise the show could continue, I just don't know if WB or the CW can convince the important people that another season would be a good idea. They can change showrunners but they can't recast Clark and Lois.

Well if not a season 11 maybe a epilouge movie on tv or theatre. I really like the sound of SMALLVILLE: THE MOVIE

thats y i said it should be titled Smallville: Epilouge.
Show the immediate impact of Clark becoming Superman, he may doubt the name for a little.

  24. As much as I love Smallville, I think it's the prefect time to say goodbye now.

  25. Agree, a fantastic season 10 and wrapping it up is better than risking a season 11 and it being abyssmal.

Let it go out on a high, we have had a great decade of Superman

  26. Smallville is awesome. Must be 11 season:) Fan of Polish: D

  27. Just for you Superman fans, there is supposed to be a new Superman movie in the works for real, now. The same producers for the Batman Dark Knight, etc, are behind this production. Saw an article in the newspaper. They have the director (also a good one). That's all. No news as to who will fill the shoes. My guess, it won't be Routh or Welling. Maybe someone a bit grittier and can bring the same kind of intensity to the role as and make it as successful with adults as the Batman stories.

  28. I think Tom Welling is getting to old to pull that off for another year. He no longer passes for someone in their twenties (just as handsome, but has the 30+ look, and being an older woman, just right in my opinion), however, I have no desire to see that actor don the "suit". He is probably too busy to keep working out to look good in a suit better suited for men in their twenties. Superman may be immortal, but alas, Tom Welling is not. Hope he gets to spend more time with his wife.

  29. You are sooooo right!

  30. Season 10 should be the final season, definitely. I love the show, I really do, but enough is enough. It's just gone a little far :P

  31. but...but I love Smallville. I don't want it to end :(

  32. As much as I love this show, I have to agree that 10 seasons with the show in it's current incarnation is enough. Now, that isn't to say that I'm not totally open to a Green Arrow or Justice team-up kind of spin off that would take this character or others from this universe in a new direction. This would let us to keep our familiar friends and allow guest spots to keep tabs on those we had to leave behind. The reason this season is so exciting and has so much momentum is because everyone knows that we are rocketing toward the finale and every word and story has that much more meaning. Giving us an (excuse the pun) 11th hour pick up for a Season 11 would just cheapen the work done on 10 and I think you would lose a lot of viewers. Stick to the plan at hand and consider a spin-off for a plan B.

  33. my opinion is that they should made a new show called superman i would be a sequel of smallville .
and would get new "proper superman " fans .
so new show , or 11th season .
10 years is stoll not enough for me and a lot more people.

Season 10 was OK but I found the last few years bit below average so I think 10 season is enough
