    Except that those types of remakes hardly ever work out. Coupling, Fawlty Towers, Kath & Kim, Life on Mars were all remade changing very little from the original story lines and all fell flat. Only the ones who take the concept and change it to suit American audiences, like The Office, seem to catch on.

    This one is much better! And I seem to like the american Sid very much, haha, he looks probably the best of them all, I mean, he looks like a good character, can't say nothing more at this point.

    ohhhh just realised this is for the US remake- thought it was for the new british one. ok now i get it. and yeah it looks like shit- i'd rather different storylines

    it seems quite a bit like the other two series
    - car into water
    - tony watching older lady from bedroom window
    - burning car
    - trampoline jump and kiss
    - girl walks up looking pretty and guys stare like with effy, cook and freddie first meeting
    - guy interested in teacher
    - tony and sid lying in bed staring up
    - choir kiss????

    WTF just realised they're using EXACTLy the same gimics as the other ones!!! I wonder if that's the plan
    I mean every character in this vid is a replica of a past character- sid, tony, michelle and cassie are just obvious
