It wasn't about the boys fighting djinns, it was about learning that Sam was alive for Dean, it was about Dean finding out what he really wants in his life. The djinns just served the purpose of bringing Deans greatest fears to life again, which is losing those he cares about to the YED, again.
The 2nd episode of Supernatural will show if season 6 was just a money-maker and that if it really needs Kripke. I hope they redeem themselves for the excuse of a premiere that was Exile on Main Street. It's just that I never saw any danger in some silly Djinns when they just had defeated the Prince of Darkness lol, all four of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, they got rid of the Archangel Michael and Raphael and then they waste an entire episode (a season premiere!!) fighting some Djinns D:
Smallville will do fine if they keep on the level of Lazarus...that episode was received quite well critically and I personally loved it, I never felt so excitement waiting for an episode to air since Lost was on.
ALSO...damn never thought there were so many CSI: NY fans in here...I hate procedurals!
Funny because one of my criticisms of the premiere is that with all the other stuff they threw in there wasn't time for the djinn. I think they could have been great monsters if they had more than 5 minutes of show time.
Supernatural - every Friday. With the remote in hand to tape it, lights off, and an occasional pillow to squeeze in tense parts, throw when annoyed, and cover my eyes whenever that terrible PiP-is-going-to-die music comes on.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
SPN for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to watch Medium, then CSI: NY.
