    Just one more question before tomorrow's episode-How the DEVIL are Elena and Stefan going to convince anyone (namely Katherine and Damon) that they've "broken up" if they can't keep their HANDS and their EYES off each other. I think if Damon uses his EYES and uses his BRAIN, he will quickly discover that Elena and Stefan are still together and that their "break-up" was a ruse. Damon is not as gullible as he looks. He knows that Stefan is deeply in love with Elena, so why would he believe that he's broken up with her? What he does with this information will be interesting to see.

    Stefan is the only one who had gotten affection, sex & kissed by both Katherine & Elena. Maybe that's why he is able to tell them apart unlike Damon. I hope Damon will be abe to obtain first hand experiences just like Stefan with Elena.

    Actually, Elena only met Katherine for the first time-in last night's episode. This was the first time that she had ever met Katherine, face-to-face.

    AWESOME episode:
    - Stephan/Katherine is way more interesting than Stephan/Elena.
    - Its obvious that Katherine is running form someone or something. IMO thats the reason why she did not go after Stefan right after she was away from MF something out there is scary enough for Katherine fo rher to sacrifice her friends and her love for the sake of playing dead.
    - Katherine's "You are asking the wrong questions" really intrigues me. on one side it confirms that there's a deeper meaning behind them looking alike.
    - Stephan/Katherine - I think Katherine is what Damon is for Elena. Surely she is unpredictable sociopath predator, but that one person brings out the better sides of her. And I certainly doubt that Stephan is as done with her as he thinks he is and even if he denies it, he still has (just like elena for damon) some feelings left there for her.
    - The stone. Really interesting. I think we will either first learn about Katherine's predators she is running away from or about the stone.
    - Caroline. Uh oh. This just confirms that there's nothing good in store for her in future. She's already on her way on her own destruction even if she does not want that to happen. And it only proves that her separation form the humans that she cares about only will make it worse.I doubt of course that she will end up like "she-looks-like-katherine-guy" form season1. No doubt some gray line will remain and she will still have good and likeable character traits or situations, but I doubt that she will remain the "pure light side of bunny eating" for long.
    - Elena. Hm, really interested in learning on what was in the book, but I guess the show wants to tease us.

    I doubt Damon has any feelings for Katherine right now.

    In a sense, the roles switched. Last season it was Damon who was angsting over katherine and Stephan acted as if he is over her. Now its the other way around.

    Jeez, that Katherine/Stefan flashback scene at the end... almost made me cry, with that music on background. Seeing that someone like her, cold-hearted and sadistic, kissing a dead guy killed in a gunshot for her and telling him one day they would be together... that completely got me.

    I wonder what Katherine meant when told Elena she was asking the wrong questions. And I think both guys still have feelings for Katherine or they would have just staked her already. But I'm rooting for Stefan/Elena right now. I just knew that break-up was a fake.

    I don't think Kathrine would kill Elena she's related to her she met her twice and let her live I believe Elena is part of Kathrine's plane!

    I liked this episode, it was a chilled episode, The ending, I'm not gonna lie, caught me off guard, with Stefan and Elena, I was sooo hoping it was real...I cracked up when Damon was listening to the convo, I was just asking myself where he was and there he was, hahaha. Poor Caroline for being in the middle, that sux!! I knew Katherine got to her! I was loving the whole Boys in the kitchen scene, u could see all the tension, it was hilarious, I knew Mason knew what Damon was,but would he know Alaric's story?? Hmmm,I wonder. Katherine is one mega bitch!! I couldn't believe she started that whole thing, that was a twist!! I loved How Damon asked Jenna if she liked him yet, and she was like still deciding, hahaha, I knew she couldn't resist his charm. How funny was he drawing dances with wolves, LOL...I'm also glad they wrote that he's not acting like his usual self, cuz if he wanted Mason dead, he wouldn't have stabbed him so nonchalantly...I still love him, haha.....Another episode that no1 died, 2 in a row, guess there stopping that, cuz Next wk looks intense, Delena in the beginning sooo cuteeee,(yea that's right). I wasn't bothered by Jeremy,Matt,and Bonnie(especially her) not being in this episode. Also enjoyed the bromance Dalaric... N ooo boy Caroline might reveal herself to her mom, any1 else think she's gonna move in with the brothers now??? I hope so, damn can't wait for next wk.

    I, too, will be rewatching this episode again and again, until next week's episode arrives. Yes, thank goodness for PVR/DVR if I happen to miss it. But I download them on my computer and burn the episodes to a disc anyway, so I can watch them any time I want. As for figuring Stefan and Elena figuring out their plan, maybe Elena figured out early on what Caroline was trying to do, put the pieces of Katherine's plan together, and then sent Stefan a text message or wrote him a note. By writing things down, they can avoid Katherine's and Damon's and Caroline's superhearing. Stefan and Elena are not as dumb as they look. Thus, the upper hand prevails......

    Hmmm, I see ur A Stelena shipper, we play for opposite sides, I'm Delena all the way........but let's not make a big argument about it, u know how long we fans can drag out that argument, lol...So we'll just leave it at that......BUT I will say this, I didn't think of that scene as a "break up". I just considered it as a "argument". Katherine isn't gonna win that easily......what really bothers me though, is how the hell did Stefan and Elena, find the time to even dicuss their plan?!?!? That's what's really bothering me, I have to watch the episode again,, so glad for DVR, even though I watched it on time, I still DVR it, gotta do the whole studying thing, watch all the reactions again, lol

    Yeah, I think Caroline's going to slip up next week and reveal herself to her mother. Something's obviously (and seriously) wrong if your daughter runs at super-speed and drinks blood. That should be #1 and #2 on your supernatural radar!!

    Like I said before, I just KNEW that Stefan and Elena's "break-up" scene was a fake. Stefan and Elena are so strong that they never would have just broken up on the fly like that. They are too much in love to do that....I hope Katherine and Damon and Caroline bought it-so Stelena can be left alone!!

    The producers have told us, the fans, that we will be DEEP (emphasis on the word DEEP) into season 2 before we find out why Elena looks so much like Katherine and how they are related. Rest assured, the answers are coming-we just need to be a patient for a while longer. Besides, if we found out the answers now, it would ruin one of the biggest story arcs for the season-how they are related and why they look so much alike. Good things come to those who wait.....It'll be worthwhile when the answers finally do come.

    I think Elena will warm up to Damon, but I think she will always see him as an eternal party-boy, someone who will never be able to settle down, whereas this was Stefan's goal all along in returning home to Mystic Falls-to "start a life" with Elena. Yes, Stefan did tell Katherine in 1864 that he was in love with her, but that was before he found out what she was. He didn't know any better back then. Now that he's with Elena, he now knows what it's like to truly be in love-unconditionally and no-holds-barred. I, too, am really interested in what the moonstone does. Maybe it helps to protects the wearer from the werewolf curse or at least reduces the effects of the curse? Also, now we know that Mason killed someone (the trigger for the curse) because he is a confirmed werewolf.

    I love seeing Nina Dobrev as katherine.She Is great to watch regardless but especilly when she plays Katharine.Katharine has a agenda but she does love stefan.And it will be Intresting to see what the stone Is.Stefan Is In seriously denial about Katharine.

    Sooner or later Elena Is going to warm up about Damon.

    Just watched tonight's episode. I KNEW Stefan and Elena's "scene" at the end of the episode wasn't real. Their love is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too special and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too epic to be over. What makes me wonder, though, is if Caroline is doing what she is doing out of her own interests (looking after Elena's best interests), alongside of doing Katherine's dirty work. Tonight was also the moment we fans were all waiting for-the moment Elena met her real-life, undead, doppelganger, Katherine. If I had been Elena, I would have been freaking and screaming like crazy!! I was really impressed that Elena managed to keep it together and keep calm as Katherine was looking at her. I also loved the 1864 moments-it was nice to see what happened after "Blood Brothers" (from season one), and how Katherine made her escape. The only part I didn't like was when she promised Stefan that she would be with him again one day. Stefan and Elena FOREVER!!!!!

    Does anybody ever notice how Stefan is always able to tell if he's with Elena or if he's with Katherine (who's pretending to be Elena). Maybe it's her scent or the way Elena's skin feels to him. Being a vampire, I suppose, would make these little differences that would be so indistinguishable to normal human folks so obvious to him.

    Any thoughts, anyone?
