I watch this show for the Tiva damnit! There has been zero Tiva since this season started. I watch tv shows for the character development above all else, and there hasn't been much at all for any character so far.
So, there hasn't been many big Tiva scenes so far but there have been LOTS of Tiva moments. "Royals and Loyals" and "Dead Air" are the two episodes that I can think of off the bat that have had lots of Tiva moments in them. At the end of "Royals and Loyals", Ziva is questioning Tony about what he would tell this mystery person about her; Tony replies, "Handle with care. Contents priceless." He just told Ziva that she was priceless! That has to account for something! Then in "Dead Air", there were a lot of references made to Undercovers, particularly in the one of the last scenes when the bomb is about to detonate. She immediately goes for Tony to cover him from the blast and, after the bomb denotes, Tony tells her that she's feeling his knee.
Maybe it's just the optimist in me, but Tony and Ziva seem to be a lot more friendlier and flirtier with each other. Also, Tony sounds pretty head over heels for her. It might take more time for them to actually get together or have a BIG moment, but I like all these small moments that we've been getting.
The only Tiva moment from "Cracked" that I can think of was when Tony confided in Ziva about Ethel and his dilemma.
I didn't really like this episode. The case, in itself, was interesting. But, the only character that knocked it out of the ball park was Abby, and that was cause the case was important to her. None of the other characters came even close. And, to be honest, Tony's fling with Ethel was a useless filler, like the writer/s didn't know what else to write to make the episode fit the hour timeslot so they decided to make Tony have another one of his flings. The only thing I liked about the fling was that he went and confided in Ziva when he was having the whole man code dilemma. I'm still not sure what to think about Tony's John Travolta outfit at the end, whether to laugh or cringe.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
