    Caroline's in Episode 7. She's at the Masquerade, but she's safe because she's in subsequent episodes.

    Matt was basically eliminated from this by Kevin Williamson so I'm sticking with Mason and Jenna.

    i guess so since they said he transforms in episode 9 or 10 he has to kill someone before then... but i think Tyler could kill a minor character like Sarah or Aimee

    I have a strong feeling that neither Matt nor Jenna will die in either episode 6 or 7. Kevin Williamson said that he wants Matt to stay in the dark for now about the supernatural, just like Jenna, the only 2 left who don't know anything about vampires, werewolves or witches.

    Well, Mason is pretty useless to Katherine now and the Salvatores hate him.

    I seem to recall reading before the start of season 2 that Carol Lockwood would take over as Mayor this season, but there's been hardly any of that, so I'd say she has a fairly good chance of surviving the Masquerade.

    I recently read that Matt gets jealous at how much time Caroline spends with Tyler, so he needs to stay around for a couple more episodes.

    Is Jenna even at the Masquerade? I thought she was the reason Elena couldn't go.

    The two girls are just fillers really, so they could both go.

    Sheriff Forbes...hmmm....there's the whole would she ever be able to trust Damon and Caroline if she found out the truth - again - thing.

    Mason and one or both girls is my bet.

    Unless, he isn't dead. I can't think why he wouldn't be, though. So it looks like his name shouldn't be in the poll as you have pointed out. And with that last scene I am beginning to think it looks like Matt may be "soon to be departed" after all.
