We've just installed a little toolbar onto the site that I hope you will find useful. We'll be monitoring the usage stats as well as any comments/suggestions/feedback that you send to me or leave in the comments.
The toolbar sits at the bottom of your screen and you can hide it at any time by clicking the Minimize Icon/Arrows.
You can also bring it back at anytime by clicking the Arrows again.
There are a number a of features on the toolbar such as
- Seeing how many users are online
- Seeing recommendations based on your friends
- Translate
- Full Facebook Access and "liking"
- Full Twitter Access and Tweeting
- Quicklaunch to access key parts of the site quickly
- Share/Save Content
- Recent Posts
- Plus a few others things.
The best way is to just have a play and see what you think. Please if you have any issues, erros, suggestions for new items on the toolbar or any general feedback, please don't hesitate in emailing me or leaving your feedback in the comments.

that will popup on the screen.
This could be things like when a part of the site is down, or when we launch
a new contest.
Think of them as site announcements.
I'm not big on social media but I do like the recent posts and the quicklaunch button. What's "last live message?"

That’s good to know. For a moment I was thinking "Great. What's been downloaded onto my computer now?", lol. Glad to know it's a useful tool on the site. Though for some reason it keeps crashing the character cup page when I try to go there.

I can`t vote in any polls on your site at the moment.The vote button just won`t work. I don`t know if it has to do with this toolbar, but I was able to vote previously.

If you need to vote on a poll use Google Chrome for now although I should
have a fix soon... I hope lol

ReplyDeleteYou seem to have removed the Translation Toolbar, so that did fix the problem for me ^^
ReplyDeletebtw there was no option to turn it off (none that I could find).
the error was that the page would just be completely dark blue, liek the background, after the toolbar loaded. It's not doing it anymore. I'm using Internet Explorer 8
