Medium - About to be Cancelled?

Oct 27, 2010

Thanks to ilenya for the heads up that Deadline are reporting that Mediums 7th Season is being cut to just 13 Episodes. Is this the first sign that the 7th will also be the finale season? (They did the same thing for Numb3rs last year)

According to our Cancellation Predictor Table, Medium has been in "Likely to be Cancelled" column for quite some time now.

  1. Honestly I'm surprised it got this far.

  2. Pass the word along... Everyone sign this petition to let CBS know that we need to see more promotion or a time-slot change for the show. The ratings have been the lowest EVER!

  3. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Medium just wasn't understood by the masses, more high brow, not easily predictable with the same formula time after time

  4. Signed the petition... Please don't cancel CBS!! The CW won't cancel Supernatural (which I love too) and they're only getting 2/3m viewers a week!

  5. Yeah, but the problem is compared to the rest of the CW, Supernatural's ratings are not bad and since the show is on Friday, the ratings are actually prettty good for the CW. I hope Medium fans get another season! :D

  6. It has been 7 seasons, so it's not a huge shock, but I think CBS should give this season 22 episodes like it rightfully deserves.
A show that's been on this long and has loyal viewers (especially when the numbers were up last week) deserves proper treatment.
Sidenote, CBS never promotes the show. EVER.

  7. Ha the problem with CBS is that if the "serial of the day" doesn't get 15 million viewers, it's already in danger. For The CW, 3 million viewers is miraculous. I don't get why that happens. Why shows that are on CBS automatically have above 10 million viewers while The CW sucks in ratings.

  8. One thing that CBS don't seem to realise is that there are fans, like me, who are outside of the US and can't contribute to the viewer numbers
