“Falling Skies” Comic Book - TNT Promo. You can see how aliens look…

TNT has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics (300, Sin City) to produce a comic for its new show, Falling Skies. Tube put together this behind-the-scenes sneak peak of the creation of the limited-edition first book, which was released at this October’s Comic-con.

  1. I hope this show works for TNT. A serialized scifi show with aliens and mech is WAY out of their comfort zone.

  2. Maybe. But I think on TNT there are more chances that it won't be cancelled after 2 episodes. And it's a good thing especially for a show which is supposed to be characters centred.

  3. More chances? I can't remember the last time a cable drama was pulled before its full order was completed. There's virtually no chance it gets pulled early. Getting a second season, however, is a different story altogether.

TNT is a network with an entire slate of procedurals and shows that skew toward an older audience who aren't usually too keen on scifi or serialized drama. It's a gamble to say the least. Like I said, I hope it works out. TV has been dumbing down scifi for a while now and this seems like it could be pretty decent.

  4. Sometimes gambles pay off. Let's wait and see...
