    First part looks like a drug induced hallucination. The part where Chuck gets shot could very well be Sarah's hallucination, or the entire episode is a hallucination. If it has nothing to do with that then it's probably fake his death kind of plan. That place is waaaaay too public for it to be a true assassination.

    that scene was because she had to prove to Volkov or whatever that she is loyal and on their side, so she had to "kill" her son. she did it to protect her and chuck, because if she didn't, they'd probably try to kill her since she knows too much and is unreliable and if she were in that position she'd be putting everyone in danger ie. chuck, because they'll probably try to use him to get to her as he is her "weakness".

    or no changed my mind..this is probably all planed that his mom shoots him because I think if you pause when he's lying on the ground after being shot you can see the outlines of the vest. Mama B needs his help 'cause Volkoff thinks she's gone soft or something like that and Chuck helps her so she doesn't get exposed..and maybe sarah doesn't know about this plan which starts their fight in Chuck vs. the first fight..just a theory ;)

    I'm seriously getting a Scarecrow vibe from that toxin that dude has to create nightmares. Team B has their work cut out for them. Can't wait. :) And I wonder if Mama B shooting Chuck is a test of sorts. Maybe she hasn't really gone dark side but in order to keep her family from harm she has to keep Chuck and the gang inn the dark about where her loyalties lie as well as to keep Volkoff at bay.
