A main character is going to have a nasty and potentially lethal run-in with a bullet!
“The shocking shooting opens a door to the past,” teases executive producer Shane Brennan, “[and] explains a relationship which has kept fans guessing for several seasons.”
Some additional clues:
* The team member in question is Tony. Or McGee. Or Vance. Or Ziva. One of those four.
* The shooting (and its aftermath) serves as the centerpiece of a special two-part episode airing Nov. 11 and 23.
* I’ll narrow the list of possible victims to three in this week’s Ask Ausiello.

I'd really like it if it is Tony who gets shot! Can you imagine the storyline it could bring about?! WOW!
ReplyDeleteBut I really don't see it coming, as it has been said the double episode will be about Ziva and Papa David. Tony being shot during that doesn't really fit, although I read about Papa DiNozzo coming back (he was really surprised when Gibbs told him that Tony got the plague and never told his dad) and also about a flashback in a When Gibbs Met Tony style. I'm looking forward to this.
Is it just me or everybody else can't stand Ziva being hurt? I love the way she's strong, confident and powerful, as a woman I admire it. I don't like seing her down. D:

Here's how I'm working it out,
ReplyDelete1st solid clue is its either: tony,ziva,mcgee,or vance.
2nd "the shocking shooting opens a door to the past".. so far we've been told that the later part of the season is going to have a stronger focus on tiva so that narrows it down to tony or ziva.
3rd "contains a relationship that has kept fans guessing for seasons" and while we have been guessing about vance and gibbs' relationship that has only been for the past 2 atleast seasons. Where as the tiva relationship has been keeping fans guessing since her entrence to the cast season 3 (almost 5 seasons) So again attn. back on ziva.
conclusion: ziva gets shot and she leans on tony (the way that she jumped to protect tony last epi when the bomb went off and well season 7 opener and the last five seasons to support this argum.) Getting shot would deffinatly open up some wounds for her from her past as well and give us backstory, while explaining some tiva relationship stuff. also... with ziva being the one getting the near lethal bullet it gives tony a chance to quit joking around with her and be honest about their relationship. And tony's already had atleast 2 neardeath fiascos (the bomb with jean, and the plague in season 2.) Is the third time really a charm, or over the top??
if it were the other way around, that would work to as it would be a great and quick way to break through the thinning but still thick shell that are ziva's emotions and ability to talk and express them. Although as stated earlier tony had already nearly died atleast twice so a third time might be excessive.
either way, they are my favs on this show so I would love to get more storyline on them!!
I'm betting Tony because there's supposed to be a flashback episode about how Gibbs's team was brought together. It makes sense for it to be Tony if this rumored plot is for real.

Vance - To be honest I think that it's Vance who gets shot. This could be the reason Eli David returns, and it will explain something about the text message from the season premiere, or have something to do with that. The relationship between Vance and Eli David has never been explained.
If it's fatal, it has to be Ziva ... That's what CBS like to do :(
ReplyDeleteI can't stand seeing Ziva being hurt but at the same time I like it (you know, when she doesn't die and all) because it gives you more leverage on all of those anti-ziva haters who say she is emotionless and sometimes I like to be reminded of it too!
ReplyDeleteWe don't see Vance enough to have this storyline with him ... McGee? No, Ziva, probably not, so ... Tony? That should be interesting! (And his father has to be back so?)
ReplyDeleteWell... if it is Vance I honestly won't care and I don't think all that many people would either, yeah we'd find out his relationship with Eli probably but otherwise I don't care because it wasn't until Spider and the Fly that I actually started liking him.

If you are a b***h, so am I, 'cause I kind of enjoy the way Tony deals with serious situations, such as being very close to death, but, of couse, coming back safely. Plus, when Tony is down, Ziva is ready to help him! I can almost see her crying like Kate did in SWAK! Ok, maybe not crying desperate, but probably suffering more than when Rivkin was in the hospital. :S At least, I hope so! Tony >>>> Rivkin LOL

ReplyDeleteI stay away from English-only forums for lack of time/patience, so I never really met any Ziva-hater. They say she's emotionless? Seriously? No one is emotionless on that show and every true fan of it knows that. Abby made the mistake to believe Zee had a rock heart, but she soon found out to be very wrong a few seasons ago (like four LOL). I don't need to be reminded of how much Ziva cares about the others only when she is near death. When she saved Tony on the last episode without being hurt, that was proof enough for me. :D Plus, in every single episode she plays and makes jokes with the guys, when she was talking about baseball and all...
ReplyDeleteShe is from a different culture and deals with men most of the time, was trained to hide her feelings, maybe that's why people say she's emotionless. I'm not American, so I only understand why most Americans love baseball because most Brazillians love soccer exactly like them! I already wrote too much, my point is that I love Ziva, she is very emotional, just does't shove it at anyone's face. Go, Zee-vah! \รต/

Some if for the said "emotionless" person she is... but the other is for semper fidelis and aliyah, some have not forgiven her for her actions while it is clear most of us has and the team too... honestly, most of it is just bs

It's probably Vance. A previous episode synopsis indicated that after a deadly attack one member will flash back to their first NCIS mission. We already saw how Ziva and McGee joined NCIS and the word "mission" doesn't really fit with Tony moving to NCIS after working as case with Gibbs as a BPD, so I am going with Vance. It's is probably linked to the message he got on his phone from Eli David a few episodes back.
