    Oh ya Elena has a lot of similarities with Katherine then she knows besides how they look the same. Both manipulate Damon in different ways. Elena won't dare accept that.

    Apparently Elenas backbone and loyalty to her brother and best friends lasted less than one episode. :( Retcon alert.

    Respect for her is flying out the window. Same with Damon. Stop being a prick!!

    I think thats the point actually.

    Elena acts like he is different from Katherine, others do to, but she has a LOT of similarities to Katherine too.

    And Sometimes we see them clearer character traits, personality(for example its already clear that she is quite manipulative by how she handles various situations, like the isobel and watch, or anything to do with Damon), manners, way of speaking or how she says certain things.

    Elena is all too afraid to accept the fact that she is NOT that different from our favourite psychotic sociopath vampiress...

    I hope that is real that kiss between Elena and Damon. Cause he was nothing but nice to her and she was the bitch in bad moon rising . She played him . Acting like the very one person she didn't want to be Katherine. But ido hope it's her and him .

    Okay, how did that happen? I mean, Damon kissing Elena cheek, touching her and she's literally SMILING...? That doesn't make sense. Didn't Elena just promised him that he'd lost her forever? Like, a few hours ago? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against it, I'm a hardcore Delena fan, but I hope that's some hallucination sequence or a daydreaming, not a real life situation because... that's too fast for me and I thought Elena better, even after her speech at the end of Bad moon rising.

    hehe. Okay, I get your point about Damon being a smarmy git, rather entertaining.However after 150years of being immature, it gets old real fast and hacks off immortals with deadly blood-curdling grudges. Eep.

    Good catch. Thing is, Stefan never brutally attacked, abused and tried to kill her best friends or killed Jeremy and is remorseless for it.

    I don't think it's a dream. I just think Stefan is going to prentend to be on Katherine's side for awhile to throw her off guard, and Damon and Elena are just going along with things as an act to make it seem more real to Katherine.

    the kiss seems more of a ploy to fool Katherine especially after she threated to "break her neck like a twig". So Stefan confesses his love and Damon and Elena play along.....
    More importantly if you notice, Elena tries to move away when Damon kisses her cheek.
    Thurs can't come fast enough :D

    Damon being a prick is part of his personality. It's also important to the series.
    Also, I can relate to what you mean about Elena. Remember in the first season, Elena would say she wanted nothing to do with Stefan, then she would want to be with him. That happened at least three times that I remember!
    Can't wait for next week's episode!
