‘Smallville’s super-sexy spellcaster is now a ‘Supernatural‘ newscaster.Serinda Swan, who twice has stopped by ‘Smallville’ (as that saucy sorceress, Zatanna), now is set to work her magic on The CW’s ‘Supernatural,’ Fancast has learned exclusively.
In the coming season’s fourth episode, titled “You Can’t Handle The Truth,” Swan will guest-star as a news reporter chronicling an unsettling series of suicides. As Dean and Sam delve into the maudlin mystery, they determine that each victim had been exposed to a brutal truth that quite literally drove them crazy.
Swan’s character, I am told, may turn out to be in possession of information that could shed light on the brothers’ investigation, just as one of Winchesters is forced to comes to terms with a hard truth of his own – one that could send his sibling reeling!
Swan’s TV gig following ‘Supernatural’ is an even juicier one: She has the female lead in ‘Breakout Kings,’ a new A&E drama series that began filming this week. Her other credits include the movies ‘Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief’ and ‘Tron: Legacy,’ due for release in December.

Watch the episode "Salvation" she was in that one too. Played a Hospital Receptionist
ReplyDeleteI liked her as Zatanna. I dismissed it at first as pin-up casting but she was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI just wonder which one of the boys is the one who learns the truth? It could go either way, but I am thinking it could be Sam and having something to do with his time in the cage. Anyone else have a theory?
ReplyDelete''In the coming season’s fourth episode, titled “You Can’t Handle The Truth''
ReplyDeleteSeason SIX!
EPISODE 6.04-WEEKEND AT BOBBY'S
ReplyDeleteEPISODE 6.05-YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH
Aahhh no they forgot the comma between "season's" and "fourth" that's probably all!
ReplyDeleteas long as the revalation is not 'Ben is in fact Dean's son' I can deal with this, but OMFG what is the secret and why does it send the other sibling reeling? I'm very intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if Ben is Dean's biological son or not. He has obviously become a son to him in the year they have been together. What I don't want to find out is that somehow this new monster invasion is directly caused by something one or both Winchester brothers have done. They have already released the Apocalypse together. It's time to cancel the never-ending guilt trip and get back to the fun!
ReplyDeleteYou know what, it totally wouldnt surprise me if that is actually true somehow, and it wouldnt really both me so much, unless the whole episode revolved around it and then ill be like 'oh okay then is that it, sorta saw that coming from season 3'. But think it might have something to do with Sam though this truth out but you never know on shows like these until at least an episode or two have been shown.
ReplyDeleteWHich brother and what truth? I am thinking it will be Sam and the truth will be that he wants to be a demon and not a hunter.
ReplyDeleteThe grammar's right. "In the coming season's fourth episode" simply means in the new season's fourth episode. So season 6, episode 4. Of course, we've also heard season 6, episode 5 so who knows.
