SAMUEL CREATES CONFLICT BETWEEN DEAN AND SAM — Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigates a case about missing babies whose parents are being murdered. At one of the crime scenes, he discovers a baby that was left behind and calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Reluctant to leave Lisa (guest star Cindy Sampson) and Ben (guest star Nicholas Elia), Dean finally agrees to meet Sam and surprises his brother with how parental he has become.... The brothers take the baby to Samuel (Mitch Pileggi), who decides to raise it as a hunter, which infuriates Dean. However, before they can decide the baby’s future, a shape-shifter breaks in and attempts to kidnap the baby. John Showalter directed the episode written by Adam Glass (##602).

ReplyDeletewell, isn't he also supposed to be dead? :P
ReplyDeleteUh, isn't samuel supposed to be, like, 70?
ReplyDeleteha ha good point.
ReplyDeleteFreaking awesome! I can't wait till September 24
ReplyDeleteYeah - not liking Gramps much myself based on what we've seen/been told so far.
ReplyDeleteThere is always family conflict on Supernatural, but no matter what I love that Sam and Dean come together at the end almost every time thats what I loved about Season 5, so Season 6 should be even COOLER!
ReplyDeleteThis ep is gonna be freakin' awesome! Parental!Dean rocks, and I want to see both brothers dealing with a baby.
ReplyDeletealright guys, remember when i posted my description of 6.02? heres a more detailed description from the CW!
ReplyDeleteTrue, but Sam admitted they were some of his best memories even if the angels were manipulating them. I have a hard time believing that walking away from his family was one of Sam's best memories. (Not that I blame him for wanting to live his own life.) I think the writers blew this one. It would have been more believable if they had shown maybe his first place at Stanford or a classroom there. Even if you are happy to get a new start on life, the day you break up with your old life is rarely a happy one, even if it leads to new happy memories.
ReplyDeleteIf you are watching Dark Side of the Moon right now, think abou this - could the memories that they were experiencing be chosen to cause the conflict between them? Since most of the memories that Sam had were those that hurt Dean, it could have ultimately been Zacheriah's plan to drive a wedge between then so that they both would say yes. Remember there was one scene that Sam said I don't control these. Also, seeing Dean with Mom and finding out that John and Mary seperated for a while - that could have been to hurt Sam more than beign a good memory for Dean.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's totally not what I expected, but I'm sure it's going to be an awesome episode (and season).
ReplyDeleteaww, Sam and parental Dean with a baby? sweeet. Infuriated Dean - even better :P I cannot tell you how excited about the new season I become with every little spoiler I read. It's gonna be a whole new story, fresh start, I love it.
ReplyDeleteThese seems like it's going to be a good episode! Yay for Sam and Dean with babies!
ReplyDeleteI don't WANT more Sam and Dean conflict, BAD Grandpa Samuel...
ReplyDeletei change my mind. season 6 is gonna be epic! But i don't like grandpa Samuel
ReplyDeleteThanks, I love this time of year when we get all the little synopsis. Love #supernatural
ReplyDeleteFurious!Dean and Intense!Dean are two of my favorites too. Not sure about Parental!Dean yet, but I have always liked the ones where Dean connects to kids best so I'm looking forward to seeing this side of him. Not too long to go now, thankfully.
