  1. So, I've only seen the first two episodes of Fringe, but I watched Bones and just decided to watch Fringe since there was nothing better to do.... wow. Amazing. I think I'm addicted to Fringe now :P

  2. That's how I got into Fringe as well! We just decided on a whim to watch the season 2 premiere and got hooked immediately. It's an amazing show--I'm glad you liked it!

  3. Am I the only one who doesn't think it is a coincidence that this is not the first time Olivia has had to try to distinguish her own memories from someone elses? Anyone remember season 1? When John Scott's consciousness was imprinted onto her own? I think after a while Olivia will be able to know for certain that she is our Olivia while at the same time being able to use alt-Olivia's memories and identity to foil the plans of Walternate!

  4. Couldn't have asked for a better start to the season!! Everything the creators promised us and more. They should just hand Anna Torv her Emmy right now. Can't wait to see more Peter & Walter in the even-numbered episode coming up!!

  5. SO AMAZING I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN IT!!!! *_*

  6. Wow! the episode was just AMAZING. I'm still in... shock maybe? Just thought it was great and I really can't wait to see what happens next. BTW, Anna Torv rules.

  7. Yes! Nothing that I thought it was going to be even after watching previews, etc. I'd like to see Charlie eventually go back with Olivia to the "real" universe and become a main cast again. Who the hell knows where this show is going. Trying to predict what is going to happen is like predicting next lotto's winning numbers. Love it! :)

  8. I actually enjoyed watching my first hour of Fringe. I found it pretty interesting even without a whole lot of science fiction but I guess that will come later. I am going to watch another one to really gauge my opinion and we'll see what happens after episode 2.

  10. Fringe was beyond amazing! Give Anna an Emmy!

  11. Loved it. Just a question though. Is Kirk Acevedo a member of the main cast again?

  12. Hm he wasn't even in the press release so I don't think so.

  13. It was heartbreaking and awesome and just WOW! Gotta love the other universe but I felt so sorry for Olivia...

  14. Yeah, thats what I thought but wikipedia are naming him as main cast, can't find a source though so I guess your right.

  15. Yep, we've had no official word to my knowledge that he's back as a regular.

  16. Yes! I was thinking the exact same thing. If she goes along with being alt-Olivia she can infiltrate the alt-Fringe division. I believe she was faking & realized this was her best way to get back to the other side. I also think the cab driver will somehow help her, don't think we're done with him yet.

Should be interesting how long it will take Peter & Co. to realize they have alt-Olivia. I imagine she still has the tattoos, wonder if that will be the eventual "tell".

  17. What to do, what to do? Watch all episodes right from the get go or watch them all in one day after the finale?
    I can't decide!

  18. Her escape reminded me of the Dark Angel, sort of the same scene in the forest...

  19. Hmmm. Didn't even cross my mind that Olivia was faking at the end... But now that people mentioned it, it seems likely.
The episode was OK. The beginning was rather lame with the psychiatrist. The memory implanting was pathetic. Implanting memories by blood? Come on... Why can't they produce decent pseudo science?

  20. Technically is was not blood but B-Lymphocytes (which have 'a' memory function) + a syringe with unknown substance (yes I watched that part again). And neither did they gave any explanation how it worked, so not that unlikely. Maybe they will even explain it later on.

  21. AMEN! I used to watch/obsess over Dark Angel and i totally thought of that too! When Max escapes for the second time from Manticore! The night, the forest, the running and the flashlights! I LOVED THIS EPISODE AS A WHOLE. GIVE ANNA TORV AN EMMY.

  22. Yeah... They remember viruses... An advanced otherworldly memory store/transfer machine I could accept more easily. Well, at least it wasn't as ridiculous as the cold virus running around, that would be hard to surpass.

  23. Yes! I am not convinced that she doesn't know what's going on right now. Something about the look on her face in the car with Charlie made me think she's just going along because she has no other choice.
