It was very...intense. When I saw Dexter listed in the cable guide, it said "Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz" in the description, and I was confused, considering Rita's dead, but after seeing it I understand why she's still listed. I was pleased to see her there again, but it made me sad at the same time. I don't want to give everything away in this comment, but there was a certain moment that made me gasp and yell at the TV, but I very much liked the last moments of the episode.
This episode was the epitome of tension. I could barely stand to watch Dexter on the verge of tears for the entire episode. It was so cathartic to watch him finally have a fit of rage/devastation toward the end of the episode. I swear, I barely breathed the entire episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Not sure what to say, still not sure if I liked it. It was strange, had good moments, but it definitely felt off.
ReplyDeleteThis episode had the best visualization of "post-death emotions" I have ever seen on TV.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the kids stay around I really like their new interaction with Dexter.
ReplyDeleteMaybe next episode we will see some tears?
oh boy...somebody say something cuz i don't know what to say about this episode.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, can't wait to see it myself
ReplyDeleteI know people love the emotionless killer Dexter was, but seeing him just utterly freak out and show emotion was awesome and terrifying.
ReplyDeleteThe wasn't really careful with the guy he killed, thats gonna bite him in the ass.
